TOV : பின்னும் கர்த்தர் யோபுக்கு உத்தரமாக:

TOV : சர்வவல்லவரோடே வழக்காடி அவருக்குப் புத்தி படிப்பிக்கிறவன் யார்? தேவன் பேரில் குற்றம் பிடிக்கிறவன் இவைகளுக்கு உத்தரவு சொல்லக்கடவன் என்றார்.
KJV : Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct [him?] he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
YLT : Is the striver with the Mighty instructed? The reprover of God, let him answer it.
RV : Shall he that cavilleth contend with the Almighty? he that argueth with God, let him answer it.
RSV : "Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it."

ERVEN : "You wanted to argue with God All-Powerful. You wanted to correct me and prove that I was wrong. So give me your answer!"

TOV : இதோ, நான் நீசன்; நான் உமக்கு என்ன மறுஉத்தரவு சொல்லுவேன்; என் கையினால் என் வாயைப் பொத்திக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.
KJV : Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
YLT : Lo, I have been vile, What do I return to Thee? My hand I have placed on my mouth.

TOV : நான் இரண்டொருதரம் பேசினேன்; இனி நான் பிரதியுத்தரம் கொடாமலும் பேசாமலும் இருப்பேன் என்றான்.
KJV : Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.

TOV : இப்போதும் புருஷனைப்போல நீ அரைகட்டிக்கொள்; நான் உன்னைக் கேட்பேன்; நீ எனக்கு உத்தரவு சொல்லு.
KJV : Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
YLT : Gird, I pray thee, as a man, thy loins, I ask thee, and cause thou Me to know.

TOV : நீ என் நியாயத்தை அவமாக்குவாயோ? நீ உன்னை நீதிமானாக்கிக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு என்மேல் குற்றஞ்சுமத்துவாயோ?
KJV : Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
YLT : Dost thou also make void My judgment? Dost thou condemn Me, That thou mayest be righteous?
RV : Wilt thou even disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?
RSV : Will you even put me in the wrong? Will you condemn me that you may be justified?
ASV : Wilt thou even annul my judgment? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?
ESV : Will you even put me in the wrong? Will you condemn me that you may be in the right?
ERVEN : "Are you trying to show that I am unfair? Are you trying to look innocent by saying that I am guilty?

TOV : தேவனுடைய புயத்தைப்போல் உனக்குப் புயமுண்டோ? அவரைப்போல் இடிமுழக்கமாய்ச் சத்தமிடக்கூடுமோ?
KJV : Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
YLT : And an arm like God hast thou? And with a voice like Him dost thou thunder?
RV : Or hast thou an arm like God? and canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
RSV : Have you an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?
ASV : Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

ERVEN : Are your arms as strong as mine? Do you have a voice like mine that is as loud as thunder?

TOV : இப்போதும் நீ முக்கியத்தாலும் மகத்துவத்தாலும் உன்னை அலங்கரித்து, மகிமையையும் கனத்தையும் தரித்துக்கொண்டு,
KJV : Deck thyself now [with] majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
YLT : Put on, I pray thee, excellency and loftiness, Yea, honour and beauty put on.
RV : Deck thyself now with excellency and dignity; and array thyself with honour and majesty.
RSV : "Deck yourself with majesty and dignity; clothe yourself with glory and splendor.

TOV : நீ உன் கோபத்தின் உக்கிரத்தை வீசி, அகந்தையுள்ளவனையெல்லாம் தேடிப்பார்த்து தாழ்த்திவிட்டு,
KJV : Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one [that is] proud, and abase him.
YLT : Scatter abroad the wrath of thine anger, And see every proud one, and make him low.

TOV : பெருமையுள்ளவனையெல்லாம் கவனித்து, அவனைப் பணியப்பண்ணி, துன்மார்க்கரை அவர்களிருக்கிற ஸ்தலத்திலே மிதித்துவிடு.
KJV : Look on every one [that is] proud, [and] bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.

TOV : அப்பொழுது உன் வலதுகை உனக்கு இரட்சிப்பு உண்டுபண்ணும் என்று சொல்லி நான் உன்னைப் புகழுவேன்.
KJV : Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
YLT : And even I -- I do praise thee, For thy right hand giveth salvation to thee.

KJV : Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
YLT : Lo, I pray thee, Behemoth, that I made with thee: Grass as an ox he eateth.
