URV : اِسکے بعد ایوبؔ نے اپنا مُنہ کھولکر اپنے جنم دِن پر لعنت کی ۔
KJV : After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

URV : نابُود ہو وہ دن جس میں مَیں پیدا ہُوا اور وہ رات بھی جس میں کہا گیا کہ دیکھو بیٹا ہُوا !
KJV : Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night [in which] it was said, There is a man child conceived.
YLT : Let the day perish in which I am born, And the night that hath said: `A man-child hath been conceived.`

URV : وہ دن اندھیرا ہو جائے ۔خدا اُوپر سے اُسکا لحاظ نہ کرے اور نہ اُس پر روشنی پڑے !
KJV : Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.
YLT : That day -- let it be darkness, Let not God require it from above, Nor let light shine upon it.

URV : اندھیرا اور موت کا سایہ اُس پر قابض ہوں ۔بدلی اُس پر چھانی رہے اور دن کو تاریک کر دینے والی چیزیں اُسے دہشت زدہ کردیں ۔
KJV : Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.
YLT : Let darkness and death-shade redeem it, Let a cloud tabernacle upon it, Let them terrify it as the most bitter of days.

URV : گہری تاریکی اُس رات کو دبوچ لے ۔وہ سال کے دِنوں کے درمیان خُوشی نہ کرنے پائے اور نہ مہینوں کے شمار میں آئے !

URV : وہ رات بانجھ ہو جائے ۔ اُس میں خوشی کی کوئی صدا نہ آئے !
KJV : Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein.
YLT : Lo! that night -- let it be gloomy, Let no singing come into it.
RV : Lo, let that night be barren; let no joyful voice come therein.
RSV : Yea, let that night be barren; let no joyful cry be heard in it.

URV : دِن پر لعنت کرنے والے اُس پر لعنت کریں اور وہ بھی جو اژدہا کو چھیڑنے کو تیار ہیں !
KJV : Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning.
YLT : Let the cursers of day mark it, Who are ready to wake up Leviathan.

ERVEN : Some magicians think they can wake Leviathan. So let them say their curses and curse the day I was born.

URV : اُسکی شام کے تارے تاریک ہو جائیں ۔وہ روشنی کی راہ دیکھے جبکہ وہ ہے نہیں اور نہ وہ صُبح کی پلکوں کو دیکھے !
KJV : Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but [have] none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:
YLT : Let the stars of its twilight be dark, Let it wait for light, and there is none, And let it not look on the eyelids of the dawn.

URV : کیو نکہ اُس نے میری ماں کے رَحم کے دروازوں کو بند نہ کیا اور دُکھ کو میری آنکھوں سے چھپا نہ رکھاّ ۔
KJV : Because it shut not up the doors of my [mother’s] womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.
YLT : Because it hath not shut the doors Of the womb that was mine! And hide misery from mine eyes.

URV : میں رَحم ہی میں کیوں نہ مرگیا؟ میں نے پیٹ سے نکلتے ہی جان کیوں نہ دے دی ؟
KJV : Why died I not from the womb? [why] did I [not] give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?
YLT : Why from the womb do I not die? From the belly I have come forth and gasp!

URV : مُجھے قبول کرنے کو گھٹنے کیوں تھے اور چھاتیاں کہ میں اُن سے پُیوں ؟
KJV : Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?
YLT : Wherefore have knees been before me? And what [are] breasts, that I suck?
RV : Why did the knees receive me? or why the breasts, that I should suck?

URV : نہیں تو اِس وقت میں پڑا ہوتا اور بے خبر رہتا میں سو جاتا ۔ تب مُجھے آرام ملتا ۔
KJV : For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,

URV : زمین کے بادشاہوں اور مُشیروں کے ساتھ جنہوں نے اپنے لئے مقبرے بنائے ۔
KJV : With kings and counsellors of the earth, which built desolate places for themselves;
YLT : With kings and counsellors of earth, These building wastes for themselves.

URV : یا اُن شاہزادوں کے ساتھ ہو تا جنکے پاس سونا تھا۔جنہوں نے اپنے گھر چاندی سے بھر لئے تھے ۔

URV : یا پوشیدہ اسقاط حمل کی مانند میں وُجوُد میں نہ آتا یا اُن بچوّں کی مانند جنہوں نے روشنی ہی نہ دیکھی ۔
KJV : Or as an hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants [which] never saw light.
YLT : (Or as a hidden abortion I am not, As infants -- they have not seen light.)

KJV : There the wicked cease [from] troubling; and there the weary be at rest.

URV : وہاں قیدی ملکر آرام کرتے ہیں اور داروغہ کی آواز سُننے میں نہیں آتی ۔

URV : دُکھیارے کو روشنی اور تلخ جان کو زندگی کیوں ملتی ہے ؟
KJV : Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter [in] soul;
YLT : Why giveth He to the miserable light, and life to the bitter soul?

KJV : [Why is light given] to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?
