BNV : এই হল প্রভুর বার্তা: “সেই সময় যিহূদার রাজা এবং গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কর্মচারীদের অস্থিসমূহ, যাজকগণ ও ভাব্বাদীগণের অস্থিসমূহ এবং জেরুশালেমের লোকদের অস্থিসমূহ তাদের কবরগুলির থেকে বের করে আনা হবে|
KJV : At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves:
YLT : At that time, an affirmation of Jehovah, They bring the bones of the kings of Judah, And the bones of its princes, And the bones of the priests, And the bones of the prophets, And the bones of inhabitants of Jerusalem, Out of their graves,
RV : At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves:
RSV : "At that time, says the LORD, the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its princes, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be brought out of their tombs;
ASV : At that time, saith Jehovah, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves;
ESV : "At that time, declares the LORD, the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be brought out of their tombs.
ERVEN : This message is from the Lord: "At that time men will take the bones of the kings and important rulers of Judah from their tombs. They will take the bones of the priests and prophets from their tombs. They will take the bones of all the people of Jerusalem from their tombs.

BNV : তারপর তারা সংগ্রহ করা সমস্ত অস্থি ছড়িয়ে দেবে আকাশভরা সূর্য়, চন্দ্র এবং তারাদের নীচে এই মাটিতে| জেরুশালেমের লোকরা সূর্য়, চন্দ্র, তারাদের ভালোবাসতো| তারা ওদের সেবা করতো, অনুসরণ করতো, উপদেশ চাইতো এবং পূজা করতো| কিন্তু কেউ সেই অস্থি একত্রিত করে পুনরায় সমাধিস্থ করবে না| সুতরাং সেই অস্থিগুলো পশুদের বিষ্ঠার মতো ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে পড়ে থাকবে|
KJV : And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.
YLT : And have spread them to sun, and to moon, And to all the host of the heavens, that they have loved, And that they have served, And that they have walked after, And that they have sought, And to which they have bowed themselves, They are not gathered, nor buried, They are for dung on the face of the ground.

ESV : And they shall be spread before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. And they shall not be gathered or buried. They shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.
ERVEN : They will spread the bones on the ground under the sun, the moon, and the stars. The people of Jerusalem love to worship the sun, the moon, and the stars. No one will gather the bones and bury them again. So the bones of those people will be like dung thrown on the ground.

BNV : “আমি জোর করে যিহূদার লোকদের ভিটেমাটি ছাড়া করব| তাদের বিদেশের মাটিতে পাঠিয়ে দেব| যুদ্ধে য়ে সমস্ত যিহূদার মানুষ বেঁচে গিয়েছে তারাও মৃত্যু কামনা করবে|” এই ছিল প্রভুর বার্তা|
KJV : And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.
YLT : And chosen is death rather than life By all the remnant who are left of this evil family, In all the remaining places, whither I have driven them, An affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts.

ERVEN : "I will force the people of Judah to leave their homes and their land. They will be taken away to foreign lands. Some of the people of Judah who were not killed in the war will wish that they had been killed." This message is from the Lord.

BNV : যিরমিয় এই কথাগুলি যিহূদার লোকদের বলে দাও: প্রভু এই কথাগুলি বললেন: “যদি কোন মানুষ পড়ে যায়, সে আবার উঠে দাঁড়ায এবং যদি কেউ ভুল পথে যায় সে আবার সঠিক পথে ফিরে আসে| যিহূদার লোকরা ভুল পথে গিয়েছিল|
KJV : Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?
YLT : And thou hast said unto them: Thus said Jehovah, Do they fall, and not rise? Doth he turn back, and not return?
RV : Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD: shall men fall, and not rise up again? shall one turn away, and not return?
RSV : "You shall say to them, Thus says the LORD: When men fall, do they not rise again? If one turns away, does he not return?

ESV : "You shall say to them, Thus says the LORD: When men fall, do they not rise again? If one turns away, does he not return?
ERVEN : "Jeremiah, say this to the people of Judah: 'This is what the Lord says: You know if a man falls down, he gets up again. And if a man goes the wrong way, he turns around and comes back.

BNV : কিন্তু জেরুশালেমের ঐসব লোকরা কেন সেই একই ভুল পথে চলতে লাগল? তারা ফিরে এল না, বরং তারা নিজেদের তৈরী মিথ্য়েকেই বিশ্বাস করল|
KJV : Why [then] is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.
YLT : Wherefore hath this people of Jerusalem Turned back -- a perpetual backsliding? They have kept hold on deceit, They have refused to turn back.

ERVEN : The people of Judah went the wrong way. But why do the people of Jerusalem continue going the wrong way? They believe their own lies. They refuse to turn around and come back.

BNV : আমি তাদের কথা মন দিয়ে শুনেছি| কিন্তু তারা সততার সঙ্গে কথা বলে না| তাদের পাপের জন্য তারা দুঃখ প্রকাশ করল না| তারা চিন্তা করল না তারা কতখানি অসত্‌| তারা চিন্তা না করে কাজ করে| তারা যুদ্ধক্ষেত্রে ছুটে বেড়ানো ঘোড়াদের মত|
KJV : I hearkened and heard, [but] they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.
YLT : I have given attention, yea, I hearken, They do not speak right, No man hath repented of his wickedness, Saying, What have I done? Every one hath turned to his courses, As a horse is rushing into battle.
RV : I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repenteth him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turneth to his course, as a horse that rusheth headlong in the battle.
RSV : I have given heed and listened, but they have not spoken aright; no man repents of his wickedness, saying, `What have I done?' Every one turns to his own course, like a horse plunging headlong into battle.
ASV : I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repenteth him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turneth to his course, as a horse that rusheth headlong in the battle.
ESV : I have paid attention and listened, but they have not spoken rightly; no man relents of his evil, saying, 'What have I done?' Everyone turns to his own course, like a horse plunging headlong into battle.
ERVEN : I have listened to them very carefully, but they don't say what is right. They are not sorry for their sins. They don't think about the evil they have done. They do things without thinking. They are like horses running into a battle.

BNV : এমন কি আকাশের পাখীরাও কাজ করবার সঠিক সময়টি জানে| সারস, পায়রা, বেগবান এবং গায়ক পাখীরাও জানে নতুন বাসায কখন উড়ে য়েতে হয়| কিন্তু আমার লোকরা জানেনা প্রভু তাদের কাছ থেকে কি চান|
KJV : Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.
YLT : Even a stork in the heavens hath known her seasons, And turtle, and swallow, and crane, Have watched the time of their coming, And -- My people have not known the judgment of Jehovah.
RV : Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the swallow and the crane observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the ordinance of the LORD.
RSV : Even the stork in the heavens knows her times; and the turtledove, swallow, and crane keep the time of their coming; but my people know not the ordinance of the LORD.
ASV : Yea, the stork in the heavens knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle-dove and the swallow and the crane observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the law of Jehovah.
ESV : Even the stork in the heavens knows her times, and the turtledove, swallow, and crane keep the time of their coming, but my people know not the rules of the LORD.
ERVEN : Even the birds in the sky know the right time to do things. The storks, doves, swifts, and thrushes know when it is time to fly to a new home. But my people don't know what the Lord wants them to do.

BNV : “তোমরা বলে চলেছো, ‘তোমরা প্রভুর শিক্ষায় জ্ঞানী হয়ে উঠেছ!’ কিন্তু তা সত্যি নয়| কারণ শাস্ত্রবিদরা মিথ্যা লিখেছিলেন|
KJV : How do ye say, We [are] wise, and the law of the LORD [is] with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he [it;] the pen of the scribes [is] in vain.
YLT : How do ye say, We [are] wise, And the law of Jehovah [is] with us? Surely, lo, falsely it hath wrought, The false pen of scribes.
RV : How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes hath wrought falsely.
RSV : "How can you say, `We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.
ASV : How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of Jehovah is with us? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes hath wrought falsely.
ESV : "How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.
ERVEN : "'You keep saying, "We have the Lord's teachings! So we are wise!" But this is not true, because the scribes have lied with their pens.

BNV : ঐ ‘জ্ঞানী ব্যক্তিরা’ প্রভুর শিক্ষামালা মেনে চলতে অস্বীকার করেছে| সুতরাং তারা প্রকৃতপক্ষে জ্ঞানী ব্যক্তি নয়| সেই ‘জ্ঞানী ব্যক্তিদের’ ফাঁদে ফেলা হয়েছিল| তারা বিহবল এবং লজ্জিত হয়েছে|
KJV : The wise [men] are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom [is] in them?
YLT : Ashamed have been the wise, They have been affrighted, and are captured, Lo, against a word of Jehovah they kicked, And the wisdom of what -- have they?
RV : The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what manner of wisdom is in them?
RSV : The wise men shall be put to shame, they shall be dismayed and taken; lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD, and what wisdom is in them?
ASV : The wise men are put to shame, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of Jehovah; and what manner of wisdom is in them?
ESV : The wise men shall be put to shame; they shall be dismayed and taken; behold, they have rejected the word of the LORD, so what wisdom is in them?
ERVEN : These "wise people" refused to listen to the Lord's teachings. So they are not really wise at all. These "wise people" were trapped. They became shocked and ashamed.

BNV : তাই আমি তাদের স্ত্রীদের অন্য পুরুষদের হাতে তুলে দেব| আমি তাদের জমিসমূহ দান করে দেব অন্য মালিকদের| ক্ষুদ্র থেকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সবাই শুধু বেশী পয়সা চায়| ভাব্বাদী থেকে যাজকদের প্রত্যেকেই মিথ্যা কথা বলে|
KJV : Therefore will I give their wives unto others, [and] their fields to them that shall inherit [them:] for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
YLT : Therefore, I give their wives to others, Their fields to dispossessors, For from the least even unto the greatest, Every one is gaining dishonest gain, From prophet even unto priest, every one is dealing falsely.
RV : Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall possess them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
RSV : Therefore I will give their wives to others and their fields to conquerors, because from the least to the greatest every one is greedy for unjust gain; from prophet to priest every one deals falsely.

ERVEN : So I will give their wives to other men. I will give their fields to new owners. All the people of Israel want more and more money. All of them, from the least important to the most important, are like that. Even the prophets and priests tell lies.

BNV : আমার লোকরা খুব বাজে ভাবে আহত হয়েছে| কিন্তু ভাব্বাদী ও যাজকরা ক্ষতগুলিতে পট্টি বেঁধে দেবার বদলে ওগুলোকে সামান্য আঁচড় বলে গণ্য করেছে| তারা বলে, ‘সব কিছু ঠিকঠাক আছে!’ আসলে কিছুই ঠিক নেই!
KJV : For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when [there is] no peace.
YLT : And they heal the breach of the daughter of my people slightly, Saying, Peace, peace! and there is no peace.
RV : And they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people lightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
RSV : They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, `Peace, peace,' when there is no peace.
ASV : And they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

ERVEN : They should bandage the deep wounds my people have suffered, but they treat their wounds like small scratches. They say, "It's all right, everything is all right." But it is not all right!

BNV : মন্দ কাজের জন্য তাদের লজ্জিত হওয়া উচিত্‌| কিন্তু তারা এতটুকু লজ্জিত নয়| তারা তাদের পাপের ব্যাপারে যথেষ্ট বিব্রত নয়| তাই অন্যদের মতো তারাও শাস্তি পাবে| যখন আমি অন্যদের শাস্তি দেব তখন তাদেরও ছুঁড়ে ফেলব মাটিতে|” প্রভু এই কথাগুলি বললেন|
KJV : Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
YLT : They were ashamed when they did abomination! Yea, they are not at all ashamed, And blushing they have not known, Therefore, they do fall among falling ones, In the time of their inspection they stumble, said Jehovah.
RV : Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
RSV : Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among the fallen; when I punish them, they shall be overthrown, says the LORD.

ESV : Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among the fallen; when I punish them, they shall be overthrown, says the LORD.
ERVEN : They should be ashamed of the evil things they do, but they are not ashamed at all. They don't know enough to be embarrassed by their sins. So they will be punished with everyone else. They will be thrown to the ground when I punish the people." This is what the Lord said.

BNV : “তোমাদের ফসল ঘরে তোলার উত্সব আর পালিত হবে না| আমি তোমাদের সমস্ত ফল ও শস্যসমূহ কেড়ে নেব তাই আর ফসল তোলা হবে না|” এই ছিল প্রভুর বার্তা| “দ্রাক্ষা-ক্ষেতে কোন দ্রাক্ষা থাকবে না| থাকবে না কোন ডুমুর গাছ| এমন কি গাছের পাতা পর্য়ন্ত শুকিয়ে যাবে| আমি তোমাদের যা দিয়েছিলাম সব কিছু নিয়ে নেব|”
KJV : I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: [there shall be] no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and [the things that] I have given them shall pass away from them.
YLT : I utterly consume them, an affirmation of Jehovah, There are no grapes in the vine, Yea, there are no figs in the fig-tree, And the leaf hath faded, And the strength they have passeth from them.
RV : I will utterly consume them, saith the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and {cf15i the things that} I have given them shall pass away from them.
RSV : When I would gather them, says the LORD, there are no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree; even the leaves are withered, and what I gave them has passed away from them."
ASV : I will utterly consume them, saith Jehovah: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig-tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.
ESV : When I would gather them, declares the LORD, there are no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree; even the leaves are withered, and what I gave them has passed away from them."
ERVEN : "'I will take away their fruit and crops, so that there will be no harvest, says the Lord. There will be no grapes on the vine and no figs on the fig tree. Even the leaves will become dry and die. I will take away the things I gave them.'"

BNV : “কেন আমরা এখানে বসে আছি? আশ্রয়ের জন্য আমাদের দুর্গবিশিষ্ট শহরগুলিতে যাওয়া যাক| যদি আমাদের প্রভু ঈশ্বর মারতেই চান, তাহলে সেখানে মরাই আমাদের পক্ষে ভাল| আমরা প্রভুর বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করেছি| তাই ঈশ্বর আমাদের বিষাক্ত জল পান করতে দিয়েছেন|
KJV : Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
YLT : Wherefore are we sitting still? Be gathered, and we go in to the fenced cities, And we are silent there, For Jehovah our God hath made us silent, Yea, He causeth us to drink water of gall, For we have sinned against Jehovah.
RV : Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
RSV : Why do we sit still? Gather together, let us go into the fortified cities and perish there; for the LORD our God has doomed us to perish, and has given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
ASV : Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fortified cities, and let us be silent there; for Jehovah our God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against Jehovah.
ESV : Why do we sit still? Gather together; let us go into the fortified cities and perish there, for the LORD our God has doomed us to perish and has given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
ERVEN : "They will say, 'Why are we just sitting here? Come, let's run to the strong cities. If the Lord our God is going to make us die, then let's die there. We have sinned against the Lord, so God gave us poisoned water to drink.

BNV : আমরা শান্তি আশা করেছিলাম কিন্তু কিছুই ভালো হল না| আমরা আশা করেছিলাম তিনি আমাদের ক্ষমা করবেন| কিন্তু শুধুই বিপর্য়য আসছে|

BNV : দান পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর দেশ থেকে শএুপক্ষের ঘোড়াদের হ্রেষা ধ্বনি আমরা শুনতে পাচ্ছি| মাটি কেঁপে উঠেছে তাদের পায়ের ক্ষুরের শব্দে| তারা এই দেশের সব কিছু ধ্বংস করতে আসছে| তারা ধ্বংস করতে আসছে এই শহর এবং শহরের লোকেদের|
KJV : The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein.

ERVEN : From the land of the tribe of Dan, we hear the snorting of the enemy's horses. The ground shakes from the pounding of their hooves. They have come to destroy the land and everything in it. They have come to destroy the city and all the people who live there.'"

KJV : For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which [will] not [be] charmed, and they shall bite you, saith the LORD.
YLT : For, lo, I am sending among you serpents, Vipers that have no charmer, And they have bitten you, an affirmation of Jehovah.
RV : For, behold, I will send serpents, basilisks, among you, which will not be charmed; and they shall bite you, saith the LORD.

BNV : আমার লোকদের কথা শুনুন| এদেশের সর্বত্র মানুষ সাহায্যের জন্য আর্ত চিত্কার করছে| তারা বলছে, “প্রভু কি সিয়োনে এখনও আছেন? সিয়োনের রাজা এখনও কি সেখানে আছেন?” কিন্তু ঈশ্বর বললেন, “যিহূদার লোকরা ভিনদেশের মূর্ত্তির পূজা করে এসেছে| সেটা আমাকে প্রচণ্ড রুদ্ধ করে তুলেছে| কেন তারা এই কাজ করেছিল?”

ERVEN : Listen to my people. Everywhere in this country, people are crying for help. They say, "Is the Lord still at Zion? Is Zion's King still there?" But God says, "The people of Judah worshiped their worthless foreign idols. That made me very angry! Why did they do that?"
