BNV : এই বার্তা প্রভুর কাছ থেকে এলো| “ইস্রায়েল, যদি তুমি ফিরতে চাও তাহলে আমার কাছে ফিরে এসো| ভ্রান্ত দেবতাদের মূর্ত্তিগুলো ছুঁড়ে ফেলে দাও| আমার কাছ থেকে চ্যুত হয়ে বিপথগামী হযো না|
KJV : If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.
YLT : If thou dost turn back, O Israel, An affirmation of Jehovah, unto Me turn back, And if thou dost turn aside Thine abominations from My face, Then thou dost not bemoan.
RV : If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, unto me shalt thou return: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not be removed;
RSV : "If you return, O Israel, says the LORD, to me you should return. If you remove your abominations from my presence, and do not waver,

ERVEN : This message is from the Lord. "Israel, if you want to come back, then come back to me. Throw away your idols. Don't wander away from me.

BNV : যদি কেবলমাত্র এগুলি কর তাহলেই কোন প্রতিজ্ঞা করবার সময় তোমরা আমার নাম ব্যবহার করতে পারবে| প্রতিশ্রুতি গ্রহণের সময় বলতে পারবে, ‘প্রভুর নিশ্চিত অস্তিত্বের দিব্য|’ এই কথাগুলো তোমরা সত্য, উচিত্‌ এবং সঠিকভাবে ব্যবহার করতে পারবে| তাহলে জাতিসমূহ তাঁর আশীর্বাদ পাবে| তারপর তারা তাঁকে প্রশংসা করতে পারবে| তোমার দেশবাসী প্রভুর কার্য়কলাপ ঘিরে গর্ব অনুভব করবে|”
KJV : And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.
YLT : And thou hast sworn -- Jehovah liveth, In truth, in judgment, and in righteousness, And blessed themselves in Him have nations, And in Him they boast themselves.
RV : and thou shalt swear, As the LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.
RSV : and if you swear, `As the LORD lives,' in truth, in justice, and in uprightness, then nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory."

ERVEN : If you do these things, then you will be able to use my name to make a promise. You will be able to say, 'As the Lord lives.' You will be able to use these words in a truthful, honest, and right way. If you do these things, the nations will be blessed by the Lord. They will brag about what the Lord has done."

BNV : যিহূদা এবং জেরুশালেমের মানুষকে এই কথাগুলি প্রভু বলেছিলেন:“তোমাদের জমিগুলি চষা হয়নি| জমিতে লাঙল দাও! নিজেদের পতিত জমি চাষ করো| বীজ বোনো সেই জমিতে| কাঁটাবনে বীজ বপন করো না|
KJV : For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

BNV : প্রভুর লোক হয়ে যাও! তোমাদের হৃদয়গুলোকে পরিবর্তন করো| আত্মাকে শুদ্ধ করো| হে যিহূদা ও জেরুশালেমের মানুষ, তোমরা যদি নিজেদের না শোধরাও তাহলে আমি রুদ্ধ হয়ে যাবো| আমার রোধ আগুনের মতো দ্রুত গতিতে তোমাদের সবাইকে বালিয়ে পুড়িয়ে ছাই করে দেবে| সেই আগুন নেভানোর ক্ষমতা কারো হবে না| তোমাদের অসত্‌ কার্য়কলাপের জন্যই এইগুলো হবে|”
KJV : Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench [it,] because of the evil of your doings.
YLT : Be circumcised to Jehovah, And turn aside the foreskins of your heart, O man of Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, Lest My fury go out as fire, and hath burned, And there is none quenching, Because of the evil of your doings.

ERVEN : Become the Lord's people. Change your hearts. Men of Judah and people of Jerusalem, if you don't change, then I will become very angry. My anger will spread fast like a fire, and it will burn you up. No one will be able to put out that fire, because of the evil you have done."

BNV : “যিহূদার লোকদের এই খবর বল:জেরুশালেম শহরের প্রত্যেকটি ব্যক্তিকে বল, ‘দেশের সর্বত্র শিঙা বাজাও|’ জোরে চিত্কার কর: ‘এস, আমরা একত্র হই এবং প্রতিরক্ষার জন্য দূর্গবিশিষ্ট শহরগুলিতে যাই|’
KJV : Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.
YLT : Declare in Judah, and in Jerusalem sound, And say ye, `Blow a trumpet in the land,` Call ye fully, and say ye: `Be gathered, and we go in to the fenced city.`

ERVEN : "Give this message to the people of Judah: Tell everyone in the city of Jerusalem: 'Blow the trumpet all over the country.' Shout out loud and say, 'Come together! Let us all escape to the strong cities for protection.'

BNV : সিয়োনের দিকে নিশান পতাকা ওড়াও| বাঁচতে চাও তো তাড়াতাড়ি করো| অপেক্ষা কোরো না| যা বলছি তাই কর কারণ আমি উত্তর দিক থেকে বিপর্য়য বয়ে আনছি| আমি এক ভয়ঙ্কর ধ্বংস ঘটাবো|”
KJV : Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.
YLT : Lift up an ensign Zionward, Strengthen yourselves, stand not still, For evil I am bringing in from the north, And a great destruction.

BNV : এক “সিংহ” তার গুহা থেকে বেরিয়ে এসেছে| দেশসমূহের এক বিনাশকর্তা তার যাত্রা শুরু করেছে| তোমাদের দেশকে ধ্বংস করতে সে বাড়ি ছেড়ে বেরিয়ে পড়েছে| ভয়ঙ্কর বিপর্য়য ঘনিয়ে আসছে এই দেশের ওপর, কোন মানুষ জীবিত থাকবে না, সব কটি শহর ধ্বংসস্তূপ হয়ে যাবে|
KJV : The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; [and] thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.
YLT : Gone up hath a lion from his thicket, And a destroyer of nations hath journeyed, He hath come forth from his place To make thy land become a desolation, Thy cities are laid waste, without inhabitant.

ERVEN : A lion has come out of his cave. A destroyer of nations has begun to march. He has left his home to destroy your land. Your towns will be destroyed. There will be no one left to live in them.

BNV : সুতরাং শোকের পোশাক পরে তোমরা চিত্কার করে কাঁদো! কারণ প্রভু আমাদের ওপর ক্ষুব্ধ হয়েছেন|”
KJV : For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us.

BNV : প্রভু বললেন, “যখন এগুলি ঘটবে, তখন রাজা এবং তাঁর পারিষদরা তাদের সাহস হারিযে ফেলবে, যাজকরা দারুণ ভয় পেয়ে যাবেন এবং ভাব্বাদীরা য়ত্‌পরোনাস্তি বিহবল হবেন|”
KJV : And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the LORD, [that] the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.
YLT : And it hath come to pass, in that day, An affirmation of Jehovah: `Perish doth the heart of the king, And the heart of the princes, And astonished have been the priests, And the prophets do wonder.`
RV : And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

ERVEN : The Lord says, "When this happens, the king and his officers will lose their courage. The priests will be scared, and the prophets will be shocked."

BNV : তখন আমি, যিরমিয় বললাম, “হে প্রভু আমার মনিব, আপনি অবশ্যই যিহূদা ও জেরুশালেমের লোকদের এই বলে প্রতারণা করেছেন: ‘তোমরা শান্তি পাবে|’ কিন্তু এখন তরবারিটি তাদের গলার দিকে লক্ষ্য করে রয়েছে|”
KJV : Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.
YLT : And I say, `Ah, Lord Jehovah, Surely thou hast entirely forgotten this people and Jerusalem, saying, Peace is for you, And struck hath a sword unto the soul!`
RV : Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.
RSV : Then I said, "Ah, Lord GOD, surely thou hast utterly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, `It shall be well with you'; whereas the sword has reached their very life."
ASV : Then said I, Ah, Lord Jehovah! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the life.
ESV : Then I said, "Ah, Lord GOD, surely you have utterly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, 'It shall be well with you,' whereas the sword has reached their very life."
ERVEN : Then I, Jeremiah, said, "Lord God, you have tricked the people of Judah and Jerusalem. You said to them, 'You will have peace.' But now the sword is pointing at their throats!"

YLT : At that time it is said of this people, And of Jerusalem: `A dry wind of high places in the wilderness,` The way of the daughter of My people, (Not for winnowing, nor for cleansing,)
RV : At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A hot wind from the bare heights in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse;

ERVEN : At that time this message will be given to the people of Judah and Jerusalem: "A hot wind blows from the bare hills. It comes from the desert to my people. It is not like the gentle wind that is used to separate the grain from the chaff.

BNV : দেখো| মেঘের মতো শএু নড়ে উঠছে| তার রথসমূহকে দেখাচ্ছে য়েন ভযাবহ ঝড়| তার ঘোড়াগুলো ঈগলদের চাইতেও দ্রুতগামী| এটি আমাদের পক্ষে খুবই ক্ষতিকারক| আমরা নিশ্চিহ্ন হয়ে যাবো|
KJV : Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots [shall be] as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.
YLT : Lo, as clouds he cometh up, And as a hurricane his chariots, Lighter than eagles have been his horses, Wo to us, for we have been spoiled.

BNV : হে জেরুশালেমবাসী, কু-মতলব ত্যাগ করো| হৃদয় থেকে সমস্ত শযতানি ধুয়ে মুছে পরিষ্কার করে দাও| আত্মাকে শুদ্ধ করলে তবেই তোমরা রক্ষা পাবে|
KJV : O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?
YLT : Wash from evil thy heart, O Jerusalem, That thou mayest be saved, Till when dost thou lodge in thy heart Thoughts of thy strength?
RV : O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thine evil thoughts lodge within thee?

ERVEN : People of Jerusalem, wash the evil from your hearts. Make your hearts pure so that you can be saved. Don't continue making evil plans.

BNV : ডান দেশেরসম্প্রদাযের বার্তাবাহকের কথা শোন| ইফ্রযিমের পর্বতমালা থেকে কেউ দুর্ঘটনার খবর নিয়ে আসছে|
KJV : For a voice declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.
YLT : For a voice is declaring from Dan, And sounding sorrow from mount Ephraim.

ERVEN : Listen! The voice of a messenger from the land of Dan is speaking. Someone is bringing bad news from the hill country of Ephraim.

BNV : “সারা জেরুশালেমবাসীকে সেই খবর জানিয়ে দাও| বহুদূরের দেশ থেকে শএুরা যিহূদার বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করতে আসছে| ঐ শএুরা চিত্কার করে যিহূদার শহরগুলির বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধের ধ্বনি দিচ্ছে|
KJV : Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, [that] watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.
YLT : Make ye mention to the nations, Lo, sound ye to Jerusalem: `Besiegers are coming from the land afar off, And they give forth against cities of Judah their voice.

BNV : জেরুশালেমকে তারা সম্পূর্ণরূপে ঘিরে ফেলেছে| য়েমন একটি মাঠে লোকরা লক্ষ্য রাখে| যিহূদা তুমি আমার বিরুদ্ধে গিয়েছিলে তাই শএু পক্ষ তোমার বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ ঘোষণা করেছে|” এই ছিল প্রভুর বার্তা|
KJV : As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she hath been rebellious against me, saith the LORD.
YLT : As the keepers of a field They have been against her round about, For with Me she hath been rebellious, An affirmation of Jehovah.`

BNV : “তোমার জীবনযাত্রা এবং কার্য়কলাপই এই সমস্যা সৃষ্টি করেছে| তোমার শযতানি তোমার জীবনকে খুব কঠোর করেছে| এই মূহুর্তে তোমার শযতানিই তোমার যন্ত্রণার কারণ| য়েটা তোমার হৃদয়ের গভীরে আঘাত করছে|”
KJV : Thy way and thy doings have procured these [things] unto thee; this [is] thy wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto thine heart.
YLT : Thy way and thy doings have done these to thee, This [is] thy vexation, for [it is] bitter, For it hath struck unto thy heart.
