BNV : যিরমিয় য়ে বার্তাগুলি প্রচার করেছিল সেগুলি রাজার কয়েকজন সভাপরিষদরা শুনতে পেয়েছিলেন| তাঁরা হলেন: মত্তনের পুত্র শফটিয, পশ্হূরের পুত্র গদলিয়, শেলিমিযের পুত্র যিহূখল এবং মল্কিযের পুত্র পশ্হূর| যিরমিয় সমস্ত লোকদের এই বাণী বলেছিল:
KJV : Then Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashur the son of Malchiah, heard the words that Jeremiah had spoken unto all the people, saying,
YLT : And Shephatiah son of Mattan, and Gedaliah son of Pashhur, and Jucal son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur son of Malchiah, hear the words that Jeremiah is speaking unto all the people, saying,
RV : And Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashhur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur the son of Malchijah, heard the words that Jeremiah spake unto all the people, saying,
RSV : Now Shephatiah the son of Mattan, Gedaliah the son of Pashhur, Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur the son of Malchiah heard the words that Jeremiah was saying to all the people,
ASV : And Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashhur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur the son of Malchijah, heard the words that Jeremiah spake unto all the people, saying,
ESV : Now Shephatiah the son of Mattan, Gedaliah the son of Pashhur, Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur the son of Malchiah heard the words that Jeremiah was saying to all the people,
ERVEN : Some of the royal officials heard what Jeremiah was saying. They were Shephatiah son of Mattan, Gedaliah son of Pashhur, Jehucal son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur son of Malkijah. Jeremiah was telling all the people this message:

BNV : “প্রভু যা বলেছেন তা হল এই: ‘জেরুশালেমে বসবাসকারী প্রত্যেকে হয় তরবারির আঘাতে নয় অনাহারে বা ভয়ঙ্কর মহামারীতে মারা যাবে| কিন্তু য়ে ব্যক্তি নিজেকে বাবিলের সৈন্যবাহিনীর কাছে আত্মসমর্পণ করবে সে বেঁচে থাকবে|’
KJV : Thus saith the LORD, He that remaineth in this city shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth forth to the Chaldeans shall live; for he shall have his life for a prey, and shall live.
YLT : `Thus said Jehovah: He who is remaining in this city dieth, by sword, by famine, and by pestilence, and he who is going forth unto the Chaldeans liveth, and his soul hath been to him for a prey, and he liveth.
RV : Thus saith the LORD, He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth forth to the Chaldeans shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey, and he shall live.
RSV : "Thus says the LORD, He who stays in this city shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence; but he who goes out to the Chaldeans shall live; he shall have his life as a prize of war, and live.
ASV : Thus saith Jehovah, He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence; but he that goeth forth to the Chaldeans shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey, and he shall live.
ESV : "Thus says the LORD: He who stays in this city shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence, but he who goes out to the Chaldeans shall live. He shall have his life as a prize of war, and live.
ERVEN : "This is what the Lord says: 'Everyone who stays in Jerusalem will die by a sword, or hunger, or terrible sickness. But everyone who surrenders to the army of Babylon will live and escape with their lives.'

BNV : এবং প্রভু যা বলেছেন তা হল: ‘জেরুশালেম শহর বাবিলের রাজার সৈন্যবাহিনীকে দিয়ে দেওয়া হবে এবং বাবিলের রাজাই দখল করবে এই শহর|”‘
KJV : Thus saith the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon’s army, which shall take it.
YLT : Thus said Jehovah: This city is certainly given into the hand of the force of the king of Babylon, and he hath captured it.`
RV : Thus saith the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it.
RSV : Thus says the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon and be taken."
ASV : Thus saith Jehovah, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it.
ESV : Thus says the LORD: This city shall surely be given into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon and be taken."
ERVEN : And this is what the Lord says: 'This city of Jerusalem will surely be given to the army of the king of Babylon. He will capture this city.'"

BNV : রাজার ঐ সমস্ত সভাপারিষদরা যিরমিয়র প্রচারিত ঐ বাণী শুনে রাজা সিদিকিযের কাছে গিয়ে বলল, “যিরমিয়কে অবিলম্বে মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেওয়া উচিত্‌| সে আমাদের সৈন্যদের নিরুত্‌সাহিত করছে| তার কথা দিয়ে সে সমস্ত নাগরিককে নিরুত্‌সাহিত করেছে| যিরমিয় চায় না আমাদের ভাল কিছু হোক| সে শুধু জেরুশালেমের লোকদের ক্ষতি কামনা করে|”
KJV : Therefore the princes said unto the king, We beseech thee, let this man be put to death: for thus he weakeneth the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for this man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt.
YLT : And the heads say unto the king, `Let, we pray thee, this man be put to death, because that he is making feeble the hands of the men of war, who are left in this city, and the hands of all the people, by speaking unto them according to these words, for this man is not seeking for the peace of this people, but for its evil.`
RV : Then the princes said unto the king, Let this man, we pray thee, be put to death; forasmuch as he weakeneth the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for this man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt.
RSV : Then the princes said to the king, "Let this man be put to death, for he is weakening the hands of the soldiers who are left in this city, and the hands of all the people, by speaking such words to them. For this man is not seeking the welfare of this people, but their harm."
ASV : Then the princes said unto the king, Let this man, we pray thee, be put to death; forasmuch as he weakeneth the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for this man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt.
ESV : Then the officials said to the king, "Let this man be put to death, for he is weakening the hands of the soldiers who are left in this city, and the hands of all the people, by speaking such words to them. For this man is not seeking the welfare of this people, but their harm."
ERVEN : Then the royal officials who heard what Jeremiah was telling the people went to King Zedekiah. They said to the king, "Jeremiah should be put to death. He is discouraging the soldiers who are still in the city and everyone else by what he is saying. He is not looking for peace; he is just trying to cause trouble."

BNV : এই সব কথা শুনে রাজা সিদিকিয় ঐ সভাপরিষদদের বলল, “যিরমিয় পুরোপুরি তোমাদের নিযন্ত্রণাধীন| সুতরাং তোমরা কিছু করতে চাইলে আমি তোমাদের থামাতে পারি না|”
KJV : Then Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your hand: for the king [is] not [he that] can do [any] thing against you.
YLT : And the king Zedekiah saith, `Lo, he [is] in your hand: for the king is not able for you [in] anything.`
RV : And Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your hand: for the king is not he that can do any thing against you.
RSV : King Zedekiah said, "Behold, he is in your hands; for the king can do nothing against you."
ASV : And Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your hand; for the king is not he that can do anything against you.
ESV : King Zedekiah said, "Behold, he is in your hands, for the king can do nothing against you."
ERVEN : So King Zedekiah said to the officials, "Jeremiah is in your control. I cannot do anything to stop you."

KJV : Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that [was] in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon [there was] no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire.
YLT : And they take Jeremiah, and cast him into the pit of Malchiah son of the king, that [is] in the court of the prison, and they send down Jeremiah with cords; and in the pit there is no water, but mire, and Jeremiah sinketh in the mire.
RV : Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchijah the king-s son, that was in the court of the guard: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: and Jeremiah sank in the mire.
RSV : So they took Jeremiah and cast him into the cistern of Malchiah, the king's son, which was in the court of the guard, letting Jeremiah down by ropes. And there was no water in the cistern, but only mire, and Jeremiah sank in the mire.
ASV : Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchijah the kings son, that was in the court of the guard: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire; and Jeremiah sank in the mire.
ESV : So they took Jeremiah and cast him into the cistern of Malchiah, the king's son, which was in the court of the guard, letting Jeremiah down by ropes. And there was no water in the cistern, but only mud, and Jeremiah sank in the mud.
ERVEN : So the officials took Jeremiah and put him into Malkijah's cistern. (Malkijah was the king's son.) The cistern was in the Temple yard where the king's guard stayed. They used ropes to lower Jeremiah into the cistern. The cistern didn't have any water in it, only mud. And Jeremiah sank down into the mud.

BNV : কিন্তু এবদ-মেলক নামক এক ব্যক্তি শুনতে পেয়েছিল য়ে সভাসদরা যিরমিয়কে জলাধারে ফেলে দিয়েছে| এবদ-মেলক ছিল একজন কূশ দেশীয (ইথিওপিযার) ব্যক্তি এবং সে ছিল রাজার প্রাসাদের সেবক, একজন নপুসংক| রাজা সিদিকিয় তখন বসেছিল বিন্যামীন ফটকে| তাই এবদ-মেলক রাজার সঙ্গে দেখা করার উদ্দেশ্যে রাজপ্রাসাদ ছেড়ে রওনা দিল|
KJV : Now when Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs which was in the king’s house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon; the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin;
YLT : And Ebed-Melech the Cushite, a eunuch who [is] in the king`s house, heareth that they have put Jeremiah into the pit; and the king is sitting at the gate of Benjamin,
RV : Now when Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, an eunuch, which was in the king-s house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon; the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin;
RSV : When Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, a eunuch, who was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah into the cistern -- the king was sitting in the Benjamin Gate --
ASV : Now when Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, a eunuch, who was in the kings house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon (the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin,)
ESV : When Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, a eunuch who was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah into the cistern- the king was sitting in the Benjamin Gate-
ERVEN : But a man named Ebed Melech heard that the officials had put Jeremiah into the cistern. Ebed Melech was from Ethiopia, and he was a eunuch in the king's palace. King Zedekiah was sitting at the Benjamin Gate, so Ebed Melech left the king's palace and went to talk to the king at the gate.

BNV : রাজাকে সে বলেছিল, “আমার মনিব এবং মহারাজ, ঐ সভাসদরা অসত্‌ উপায় অবলম্বন করেছে ভাব্বাদী যিরমিয়র বিরুদ্ধে| তারা যিরমিয়কে জলাধারে ছুঁড়ে ফেলে দিয়েছে| তারা তাকে সেখানে মরবার জন্য ছেড়ে রেখেছে|”
KJV : Ebed-melech went forth out of the king’s house, and spake to the king, saying,
YLT : and Ebed-Melech goeth forth from the king`s house, and speaketh unto the king, saying,

RSV : Ebedmelech went from the king's house and said to the king,
ASV : Ebed-melech went forth out of the kings house, and spake to the king, saying,
ESV : Ebed-melech went from the king's house and said to the king,
ERVEN : Ebed Melech said, "My lord and king, these officials have done evil. They have treated Jeremiah the prophet badly. They have thrown him into a cistern and left him there to die."

KJV : My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die for hunger in the place where he is: for [there is] no more bread in the city.
YLT : `My lord, O king, these men have done evil [in] all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the pit, and he dieth in his place because of the famine, for there is no more bread in the city.`
RV : My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die in the place where he is because of the famine: for there is no more bread in the city.

BNV : তখন রাজা সিদিকিয় এবদ-মেলককে আদেশ দিয়েছিল, “এবদ-মেলক রাজপ্রাসাদ থেকে তিন জনকে সঙ্গে করে নিয়ে যাও এবং জলাধার থেকে যিরমিয়কে সে মরে যাবার আগে তুলে নাও|”
KJV : Then the king commanded Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Take from hence thirty men with thee, and take up Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon, before he die.
YLT : And the king commandeth Ebed-Melech the Cushite, saying, `Take with thee from this thirty men, and thou hast brought up Jeremiah the prophet from the pit, before he dieth.`
RV : Then the king commanded Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Take from hence thirty men with thee, and take up Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon, before he die.
RSV : Then the king commanded Ebedmelech, the Ethiopian, "Take three men with you from here, and lift Jeremiah the prophet out of the cistern before he dies."
ASV : Then the king commanded Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Take from hence thirty men with thee, and take up Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon, before he die.
ESV : Then the king commanded Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, "Take three men with you from here, and lift Jeremiah the prophet out of the cistern before he dies."
ERVEN : Then King Zedekiah gave a command to Ebed Melech, the Ethiopian. This was the command: "Ebed Melech, take three men from the palace with you, and go get Jeremiah out of the cistern before he dies."

BNV : এবদ-মেলক তিনজন লোক সঙ্গে নিল কিন্তু তার আগে সে রাজপ্রাসাদের নীচে ভাঁড়ার ঘরে গিয়ে কিছু পুরানো বস্ত্র ও কিছু জীর্ণ বস্ত্রখণ্ড জোগাড় করল| তারপর জলাধারের কাছে গিয়ে সে ঐ জীর্ণ বস্ত্রখণ্ডগুলি দড়ির সঙ্গে নীচে নামিয়ে দিয়ে
KJV : So Ebed- melech took the men with him, and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took thence old cast clouts and old rotten rags, and let them down by cords into the dungeon to Jeremiah.
YLT : And Ebed-Melech taketh the men with him, and entereth the house of the king, unto the place of the treasury, and taketh thence worn-out clouts, and worn-out rags, and sendeth them unto Jeremiah unto the pit by cords.
RV : So Ebed-melech took the men with him, and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took thence old cast clouts and old rotten rags, and let them down by cords into the dungeon to Jeremiah.
RSV : So Ebedmelech took the men with him and went to the house of the king, to a wardrobe of the storehouse, and took from there old rags and worn-out clothes, which he let down to Jeremiah in the cistern by ropes.
ASV : So Ebed-melech took the men with him, and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took thence rags and worn-out garments, and let them down by cords into the dungeon to Jeremiah.
ESV : So Ebed-melech took the men with him and went to the house of the king, to a wardrobe in the storehouse, and took from there old rags and worn-out clothes, which he let down to Jeremiah in the cistern by ropes.
ERVEN : So Ebed Melech took the men with him. But first he went to a room under the storeroom in the king's palace. He took some old rags and worn-out clothes from that room. Then he let the rags down with some ropes to Jeremiah in the cistern.

BNV : যিরমিয়র উদ্দেশ্যে বলল, “যিরমিয় এই জীর্ণ বস্ত্রখণ্ডগুলি তুমি তোমার কাঁধের নীচে ভাল করে জড়িয়ে নাও| আমরা যখন দড়ির সাহায্যে তোমায় টেনে তুলব তখন ঐ বস্ত্রখণ্ডগুলি দড়ির আঘাত থেকে তোমায় রক্ষা করবে|” এবদ-মেলকের কথা মতোই যিরমিয় বস্ত্রখণ্ডগুলি বাহুতে জড়িয়ে নিল|
KJV : And Ebed-melech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, Put now [these] old cast clouts and rotten rags under thine armholes under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.
YLT : And Ebed-Melech the Cushite saith unto Jeremiah, `Put, I pray thee, the worn-out clouts and rags under thine arm-holes, at the place of the cords,` and Jeremiah doth so,
RV : And Ebed-melech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, Put now these old cast clouts and rotten rags under thine armholes under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.
RSV : Then Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said to Jeremiah, "Put the rags and clothes between your armpits and the ropes." Jeremiah did so.
ASV : And Ebed-melech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, Put now these rags and worn-out garments under thine armholes under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.
ESV : Then Ebed-melech the Ethiopian said to Jeremiah, "Put the rags and clothes between your armpits and the ropes." Jeremiah did so.
ERVEN : Ebed Melech, the Ethiopian, said to Jeremiah, "Put these old rags and worn-out clothes under your arms. When we pull you out, these rags will pad your underarms. Then the ropes will not hurt you." So Jeremiah did as Ebed Melech said.

BNV : তারপর তারা তাকে দড়িগুলো দিয়ে টেনে তুলল এবং জলাধারের থেকে বাইরে আনল| যিরমিয়কে আবার রক্ষীদের অধীনে উঠোনে রেখে দেওয়া হয়েছিল|
KJV : So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
YLT : and they draw out Jeremiah with cords, and bring him up out of the pit, and Jeremiah dwelleth in the court of the prison.
RV : So they drew up Jeremiah with the cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.
RSV : Then they drew Jeremiah up with ropes and lifted him out of the cistern. And Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.

ESV : Then they drew Jeremiah up with ropes and lifted him out of the cistern. And Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.
ERVEN : The men pulled Jeremiah up with the ropes and lifted him out of the cistern. And Jeremiah stayed under guard in the Temple yard.

BNV : রাজা সিদিকিয় ভাব্বাদী যিরমিয়কে তার কাছে নিয়ে আসার জন্য এক জনকে পাঠাল| যিরমিয়কে প্রভুর মন্দিরের তৃতীয় প্রবেশ পথে আনা হয়েছিল| রাজা বললেন, “যিরমিয় আমি তোমাকে কয়েকটি কথা জিজ্ঞেস করব| তুমি কিন্তু আমার কাছে কোন কিছু লুকোবে না, সব কথা আমাকে খোলাখুলি বলবে|”
KJV : Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took Jeremiah the prophet unto him into the third entry that [is] in the house of the LORD: and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask thee a thing; hide nothing from me.
YLT : And the king Zedekiah sendeth, and taketh Jeremiah the prophet unto him, unto the third entrance that [is] in the house of Jehovah, and the king saith unto Jeremiah, `I am asking thee a thing, do not hide from me anything.`
RV : Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took Jeremiah the prophet unto him into the third entry that is in the house of the LORD: and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask thee a thing; hide nothing from me.
RSV : King Zedekiah sent for Jeremiah the prophet and received him at the third entrance of the temple of the LORD. The king said to Jeremiah, "I will ask you a question; hide nothing from me."
ASV : Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took Jeremiah the prophet unto him into the third entry that is in the house of Jehovah: and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask thee a thing; hide nothing from me.
ESV : King Zedekiah sent for Jeremiah the prophet and received him at the third entrance of the temple of the LORD. The king said to Jeremiah, "I will ask you a question; hide nothing from me."
ERVEN : Then King Zedekiah sent someone to get Jeremiah the prophet. He had Jeremiah brought to the third entrance to the Temple of the Lord. Then the king said, "Jeremiah, I am going to ask you something. Don't hide anything from me, but tell me everything honestly."

BNV : যিরমিয় সিদিকিয়কে বলল: “আমি যদি আপনার কথার উত্তর দিই, আপনি হয়ত আমায় মেরে ফেলবেন| আমি যদি আপনাকে উপদেশও দিই, আপনি আমার কথা শুনবেন না|”
KJV : Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare [it] unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me?
YLT : And Jeremiah saith unto Zedekiah, `When I declare to thee, dost thou not surely put me to death? and when I counsel thee, thou dost not hearken unto me.`
RV : Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, thou wilt not hearken unto me.
RSV : Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, "If I tell you, will you not be sure to put me to death? And if I give you counsel, you will not listen to me."
ASV : Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, thou wilt not hearken unto me.
ESV : Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, "If I tell you, will you not surely put me to death? And if I give you counsel, you will not listen to me."
ERVEN : Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, "If I give you an answer, you will probably kill me. And even if I give you advice, you will not listen to me."

BNV : কিন্তু রাজা সিদিকিয় গোপনে এই বলে যিরমিয়র কাছে একটি প্রতিশ্রুতি করলেন, “যিরমিয়, প্রভু হচ্ছেন সেই জন যিনি আমাদের জীবনের রুটি দেন| আমি প্রভুর নামে শপথ করছি, আমি তোমায় মেরে ফেলব না এবং যারা তোমায় মারতে চায় সেই কর্মচারীদের হাতেও তুলে দেব না|”
KJV : So Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, [As] the LORD liveth, that made us this soul, I will not put thee to death, neither will I give thee into the hand of these men that seek thy life.
YLT : And the king Zedekiah sweareth unto Jeremiah in secret, saying, `Jehovah liveth, He who made for us this soul, I do not put thee to death, nor give thee unto the hand of these men who are seeking thy soul.`

ESV : Then King Zedekiah swore secretly to Jeremiah, "As the LORD lives, who made our souls, I will not put you to death or deliver you into the hand of these men who seek your life."
ERVEN : But King Zedekiah secretly swore an oath to Jeremiah. Zedekiah said, "The Lord gives us breath and life. As surely as the Lord lives, I will not kill you, Jeremiah. And I promise not to give you to the officials who want to kill you."

BNV : তখন যিরমিয় রাজা সিদিকিয়কে বলল, “প্রভু সর্বশক্তিমান, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর বলেছেন, ‘যদি আপনি বাবিলের রাজার সভাসদদের হাতে আত্মসমর্পণ করেন তাহলে জীবন রক্ষা পাবে এবং জেরুশালেমকেও আগুনে পোড়ানো হবে না| আপনার পরিবারও জীবিত থাকবে|

KJV : And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.
YLT : And the king Zedekiah saith unto Jeremiah, `I am fearing the Jews who have fallen unto the Chaldeans, lest they give me into their hand, and they have insulted me.`

KJV : But Jeremiah said, They shall not deliver [thee.] Obey, I beseech thee, the voice of the LORD, which I speak unto thee: so it shall be well unto thee, and thy soul shall live.

KJV : And, behold, all the women that are left in the king of Judah’s house [shall be] brought forth to the king of Babylon’s princes, and those [women] shall say, Thy friends have set thee on, and have prevailed against thee: thy feet are sunk in the mire, [and] they are turned away back.
YLT : That, lo, all the women who have been left in the house of the king of Judah are brought forth unto the heads of the king of Babylon, and lo, they are saying: Persuaded thee, and prevailed against thee, Have thine allies, Sunk into mire have thy feet, They have been turned backward.

ERVEN : It happened that the royal officials of the king did come to Jeremiah to question him. So Jeremiah told them everything the king had ordered him to say. Then they left Jeremiah alone. No one had heard what Jeremiah and the king had talked about.
