BNV : সাহায্যের জন্য মিশর অভিমুখে যাওয়া লোকদের দিকে তাকাও| তারা ঘোড়া চায় এই মনে করে যে ঘোড়ারা তাদের রক্ষা করবে| তারা মনে করে যে মিশরের অনেকগুলি রথ ও অশ্বারোহী সৈন্য তাদের রক্ষা করবে| তারা মনে করে তারা খুবই নিরাপদে আছে| কারণ তাদের সেনাবাহিনী খুবই বিশাল| লোকদের ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বরের প্রতি আস্থা নেই| তারা প্রভুর কাছে সাহায্যও চায় না|
KJV : Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because [they are] many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
YLT : Wo [to] those going down to Egypt for help, And on horses lean, And trust on chariots, because many, And on horsemen, because very strong, And have not looked on the Holy One of Israel, And Jehovah have not sought.
RV : Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help, and stay on horses; and trust in chariots, because they are many, and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
RSV : Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the LORD!
ASV : Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek Jehovah!
ESV : Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the LORD!
ERVEN : Look at the people going down to Egypt for help. They think the horses they get will save them. They hope the many chariots and powerful soldiers will protect them. But the people don't trust in the Holy One of Israel. They didn't ask the Lord for help.

BNV : কিন্তু প্রভু জ্ঞানী এবং তিনি তাদের সমস্যায় ফেলবেন| তারা প্রভুর আদেশের পরিবর্তন ঘটাতে পারে না| প্রভু দুষ্ট লোকদের (যিহূদা) বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করবেন| এবং প্রভু দুষ্কৃতকারীদের বিরুদ্ধেও যুদ্ধ করবেন যারা তাদের সাহায্য করেছিল|
KJV : Yet he also [is] wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.
YLT : And He also [is] wise, and bringeth in evil, And His words He hath not turned aside, And He hath risen against a house of evil doers, And against the help of workers of iniquity.
RV : Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evil-doers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.
RSV : And yet he is wise and brings disaster, he does not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the helpers of those who work iniquity.

ERVEN : But he is the wise one who is bringing the disaster. And they will not be able to stop what he commanded. The Lord will attack those who are evil and all who try to help them.

BNV : মিশরের লোকরা নিছকই মানুষ, ঈশ্বর নয়| মিশরের ঘোড়াগুলি পশুমাত্র, আত্মা নয়| প্রভু তাঁর বাহুকে কাজে লাগাবেন এবং সাহায্যকারী দেশ মিশরকে পরাস্ত করবেন| এবং (যিহূদার) যে সমস্ত লোকরা সাহায্য চেয়েছিল তাদের পরাজয় হবে| তারা সবাই এক সঙ্গে ধ্বংস হবে|
KJV : Now the Egyptians [are] men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.
YLT : And the Egyptians [are men], and not God, And their horses [are] flesh, and not spirit, And Jehovah stretcheth out His hand, And stumbled hath the helper, And fallen hath the helped one, And together all of them are consumed.
RV : Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit: and when the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall stumble, and he that is holpen shall fall, and they all shall fail together.
RSV : The Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out his hand, the helper will stumble, and he who is helped will fall, and they will all perish together.

ESV : The Egyptians are man, and not God, and their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out his hand, the helper will stumble, and he who is helped will fall, and they will all perish together.
ERVEN : The Egyptians are only human, not God. The horses from Egypt are only animals, not spirit. The Lord will stretch out his arm, and the helper will be defeated. And those who wanted help will fall. They will all be destroyed together.

BNV : প্রভু আমাকে বলেছিলেন, “একটা সিংহ অথবা সিংহশাবক যখন কোন পশুকে খাবার জন্য ধরে সে তখন তার শিকারের ওপর দাঁড়ায ও গর্জন করে| তখন কোন কিছুই সিংহটিকে ভয় দেখাতে পারে না| যদি মানুষ আসে এবং চেষ্টাও করে সিংহটি ভীত হয় না| মানুষ যথেষ্ট হল্লা জুড়তে পারে| কিন্তু সিংহ পালায় না|”একই ভাবে সর্বশক্তিমান প্রভু আসবেন সিয়োন পর্বতে| পর্বতের ওপর প্রভু যুদ্ধ করবেন|
KJV : For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, [he] will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
YLT : For thus said Jehovah unto me: `As growl doth the lion and the young lion over his prey, Called against whom is a multitude of shepherds, From their voice he is not affrighted, And from their noise he is not humbled; So come down doth Jehovah of Hosts To war on mount Zion, and on her height.

ESV : For thus the LORD said to me, "As a lion or a young lion growls over his prey, and when a band of shepherds is called out against him is not terrified by their shouting or daunted at their noise, so the LORD of hosts will come down to fight on Mount Zion and on its hill.
ERVEN : The Lord told me: "When a lion or its cub catches an animal to eat, the lion stands over the dead animal and roars, and nothing can frighten it away. If men come and yell at the lion, the lion will not be afraid. They might make a lot of noise, but the lion will not run away." In the same way, the Lord All-Powerful will come down to Mount Zion. He will fight on that hill.

BNV : বাসার ওপর উড়ন্ত পাখির মত সর্বশক্তিমান প্রভু জেরুশালেমের হয়ে যুদ্ধ করবেন| প্রভু তাঁকে রক্ষা করবেন| প্রভু জেরুশালেমকে প্রতিরক্ষা করবেন এবং তাকে উদ্ধার করবেন|
KJV : As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver [it; and] passing over he will preserve [it.]
YLT : As birds flying, so doth Jehovah of Hosts Cover over Jerusalem, covering and delivering, Passing over, and causing to escape.`
RV : As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts protect Jerusalem; he will protect and deliver {cf15i it}, he will pass over and preserve {cf15i it}.
RSV : Like birds hovering, so the LORD of hosts will protect Jerusalem; he will protect and deliver it, he will spare and rescue it.

ERVEN : Just as birds fly over their nest to protect it, so the Lord All- Powerful will defend Jerusalem. He will save her. He will "pass over" and save Jerusalem.

BNV : তোমরা ইস্রায়েলের শিশুরা ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধগামী| তোমাদের উচিত্‌ ঈশ্বরের কাছে ফিরে আসা|
KJV : Turn ye unto [him from] whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.
YLT : Turn back to Him from whom sons of Israel Have deepened apostacy.
RV : Turn ye unto him from whom ye have deeply revolted, O children of Israel.
RSV : Turn to him from whom you have deeply revolted, O people of Israel.

ERVEN : People of Israel, you should come back to the God you turned away from.

BNV : তখনই সোনা রূপো দিয়ে তোমাদের তৈরী করা মূর্ত্তির পূজা লোকেরা ছেড়ে দেবে| তোমরা সত্যিই ঐসব মূর্ত্তি তৈরী করবার সময় পাপ করেছ|
KJV : For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you [for] a sin.
YLT : For in that day despise doth each His idols of silver, and his idols of gold, That your hands made to you -- a sin.
RV : For in that day they shall cast away every man his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.
RSV : For in that day every one shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which your hands have sinfully made for you.

ERVEN : That is because when those things happen, people will reject the gold and silver idols you made when you sinned against me.

BNV : এটা সত্যি যে অশূর তরবারির সাহায্যে পরাস্ত হবে| কিন্তু তরবারিটি মানুষের তরবারি নয়| অশূর ধ্বংস হবে| কিন্তু সেই ধ্বংস মানুষের তরবারি দিয়ে হবে না| অশূর ঈশ্বরের তরবারি দেখে পালাবে| কিন্তু যুবকরা ধরা পড়বে এবং তাদের দাস বানানো হবে|
KJV : Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited.
YLT : And fallen hath Asshur by sword, not of the high, Yea, a sword -- not of the low, doth consume him, And he hath fled for himself from the face of a sword, And his young men become tributary.
RV : Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of man; and the sword, not of men, shall devour him: and he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall become tributary.
RSV : "And the Assyrian shall fall by a sword, not of man; and a sword, not of man, shall devour him; and he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be put to forced labor.
ASV : And the Assyrian shall fall by the sword, not of man; and the sword, not of men, shall devour him; and he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall become subject to taskwork.
ESV : "And the Assyrian shall fall by a sword, not of man; and a sword, not of man, shall devour him; and he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be put to forced labor.
ERVEN : It is true that Assyria will be defeated with a sword, but it will not be a human sword that defeats him. Assyria will be destroyed, but that destruction will not come from a man's sword. Assyria will run away from God's sword, but the young men will be caught and made slaves.

BNV : তাদের নিরাপদ স্থান ধ্বংস হবে| তাদের নেতারা পরাস্ত হয়ে তাদের পতাকা ত্যাগ করবে|ঐসব কথা প্রভুই বলেছেন| প্রভুর অগ্নিস্থান (বেদী) সিয়োনে আছে| প্রভুর উনুন (বেদী) জেরুশালেমে আছে|
KJV : And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire [is] in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
YLT : And [to] his rock from fear he passeth on, And affrighted by the ensign have been his princes -- an affirmation of Jehovah, Who hath a light in Zion, And who hath a furnace in Jerusalem!
RV : And his rock shall pass away by reason of terror, and his princes shall be dismayed at the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
RSV : His rock shall pass away in terror, and his officers desert the standard in panic," says the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and whose furnace is in Jerusalem.
ASV : And his rock shall pass away by reason of terror, and his princes shall be dismayed at the ensign, saith Jehovah, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

ERVEN : Their place of safety will be destroyed. Their leaders will be defeated, and they will abandon their flag. The Lord, whose fireplace is on Zion and whose oven is in Jerusalem, is the one who said this.
