BNV : সর্গোন ছিলেন অশূরের রাজা| সর্গোন তাঁর সেনাপতি তর্ত্তনকে অস্দোদ শহরের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করতে পাঠান| তর্ত্তন সেখানে গিয়ে শহরটি দখল করে নেন|
KJV : In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, (when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it;
YLT : In the year of the coming in of Tartan to Ashdod, when Sargon king of Asshur sendeth him, and he fighteth against Ashdod, and captureth it,
RV : In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him, and he fought against Ashdod and took it;
RSV : In the year that the commander in chief, who was sent by Sargon the king of Assyria, came to Ashdod and fought against it and took it, --
ASV : In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him, and he fought against Ashdod and took it;
ESV : In the year that the commander in chief, who was sent by Sargon the king of Assyria, came to Ashdod and fought against it and captured it-
ERVEN : Sargon was the king of Assyria. He sent Tarton to fight against Ashdod. Tarton went there and captured the city.

BNV : সেই সময় প্রভু আমোসের পুত্র যিশাইয়ের মাধ্যমে কথাবার্তা বলেছিলেন| প্রভু বলেন, “যাও, তোমার কোমর থেকে দুঃখের কাপড় সরাও| পা থেকে জুতো খুলে ফেল|” যিশাইয় প্রভুর আদেশ পালন করল| খালি পায়ে, খালি গায়ে যিশাইয় চারদিকে ঘুরে বেড়াল|
KJV : At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
YLT : at that time spake Jehovah by the hand of Isaiah son of Amoz, saying, `Go, and thou hast loosed the sackcloth from off thy loins, and thy sandal thou dost draw from off thy foot,` and he doth so, going naked and barefoot.
RV : at that time the LORD spake by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go, and loose sackcloth from off thy loins, and put thy shoe from off thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
RSV : at that time the LORD had spoken by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, "Go, and loose the sackcloth from your loins and take off your shoes from your feet," and he had done so, walking naked and barefoot --
ASV : at that time Jehovah spake by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go, and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put thy shoe from off thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
ESV : at that time the LORD spoke by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, "Go, and loose the sackcloth from your waist and take off your sandals from your feet," and he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
ERVEN : At that time the Lord spoke through Isaiah son of Amoz. He said, "Go, take the sackcloth off your waist and the sandals off your feet." So Isaiah obeyed the Lord and went without clothes or sandals.

BNV : তারপর প্রভু বললেন, “যিশাইয় তিন বছর ধরে খালি পায়ে খালি গায়ে ঘুরে বেড়িযেছে| এটা মিশর এবং কূশ দেশের কাছে একটা নিদর্শন|
KJV : And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years [for] a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;
YLT : And Jehovah saith, `As My servant Isaiah hath gone naked and barefoot three years, a sign and a wonder for Egypt and for Cush,
RV : And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and a wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;
RSV : the LORD said, "As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot for three years as a sign and a portent against Egypt and Ethiopia,
ASV : And Jehovah said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and a wonder concerning Egypt and concerning Ethiopia;
ESV : Then the LORD said, "As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot for three years as a sign and a portent against Egypt and Cush,
ERVEN : Then the Lord said, "My servant Isaiah has gone without clothes or sandals for three years. This is a sign for Egypt and Ethiopia.

BNV : অশূরের রাজা মিশর ও কূশদেশকে পরাজিত করবে| অশূররা বন্দীদের তাদের দেশ থেকে ধরে নিয়ে যাবে| বৃদ্ধ এবং য়ুবা বন্দীদের খালি পায়ে এবং পোশাক-আশাক না পরিযে হাঁটিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে| তারা সম্পূর্ণ উলঙ্গ থাকবে| মিশরের লোকরা লজ্জিত হবে|
KJV : So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with [their] buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
YLT : so doth the king of Asshur lead the captivity of Egypt, and the removal of Cush, young and old, naked and barefoot, with seat uncovered -- the nakedness of Egypt;
RV : so shall the king of Assyria lead away the captives of Egypt, and the exiles of Ethiopia, young and old, naked and barefoot, and with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
RSV : so shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians captives and the Ethiopians exiles, both the young and the old, naked and barefoot, with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
ASV : so shall the king of Assyria lead away the captives of Egypt, and the exiles of Ethiopia, young and old, naked and barefoot, and with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
ESV : so shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptian captives and the Cushite exiles, both the young and the old, naked and barefoot, with buttocks uncovered, the nakedness of Egypt.
ERVEN : The king of Assyria will defeat Egypt and Ethiopia. Assyria will take prisoners and lead them away from their countries. The people, young and old, will be led away without clothes or sandals. They will be completely naked.

BNV : তারা ভীত এবং হতাশ হবে কারণ তারা কূশ দেশের কাছে সাহায্য আশা করেছিল এবং মিশর দেশের মহিমায তাদের আস্থা ছিল|”
KJV : And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.
YLT : and they have been affrighted and ashamed of Cush their confidence, and of Egypt their beauty,
RV : And they shall be dismayed and ashamed, because of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.
RSV : Then they shall be dismayed and confounded because of Ethiopia their hope and of Egypt their boast.
ASV : And they shall be dismayed and confounded, because of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.
ESV : Then they shall be dismayed and ashamed because of Cush their hope and of Egypt their boast.
ERVEN : Those who looked to Ethiopia for help will be shattered. Those who were amazed by Egypt's glory will be ashamed."

BNV : সমুদ্রের ধারে বসবাসকারী লোকরা বলবে, “আমরা ঐ দেশগুলির কাছ থেকে সাহায্য পাবার ভরসা করেছিলাম| আমরা ওদের কাছে ছুটে গিয়েছিলাম যাতে অশূরের রাজার হাত থেকে তারা আমাদের রক্ষা করে| কিন্তু ওদের দিকে তাকাও| ওরাও বন্দী| ওদের দেশ দখল হয়ে গেছে| তাহলে আমরা কি ভাবে মুক্তি পাব?”
KJV : And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such [is] our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?
YLT : and the inhabitant of this isle hath said in that day -- Lo, thus [is] our trust, Whither we have fled for help, To be delivered from the king of Asshur, And how do we escape -- we?`
RV : And the inhabitant of this coastland shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and we, how shall we escape?
RSV : And the inhabitants of this coastland will say in that day, `Behold, this is what has happened to those in whom we hoped and to whom we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria! And we, how shall we escape?'"
ASV : And the inhabitant of this coast-land shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and we, how shall we escape?
ESV : And the inhabitants of this coastland will say in that day, 'Behold, this is what has happened to those in whom we hoped and to whom we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria! And we, how shall we escape?'"
ERVEN : People living along the coast will say, "We trusted those countries to help us. We ran to them so that they would rescue us from the king of Assyria. But look at them. They have been captured, so how can we escape?"
