BNV : তখন আমি শুনতে পেলাম যে, যে নেতারা শহরকে শাস্তি দেবার দায়িত্বে ছিল, ঈশ্বর তাদের ডাকছেন| প্রত্যেক নেতার হাতে ছিল তার নিজস্ব মারণাস্ত্র|
KJV : He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man [with] his destroying weapon in his hand.
YLT : And He crieth in mine ears -- a loud voice -- saying, `Drawn near have inspectors of the city, and each his destroying weapon in his hand.`
RV : Then he cried in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause ye them that have charge over the city to draw near, every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
RSV : Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, "Draw near, you executioners of the city, each with his destroying weapon in his hand."
ASV : Then he cried in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause ye them that have charge over the city to draw near, every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
ESV : Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, "Bring near the executioners of the city, each with his destroying weapon in his hand."
ERVEN : Then God shouted to the leaders in charge of punishing the city. Each leader had his own destructive weapon in his hand.

BNV : তারপর আমি উচ্চতর ফটক থেকে ছয়জনকে হাঁটতে দেখলাম| এই ফটকটি ছিল উত্তরমুখী| প্রত্যেকের হাতে ছিল তার নিজস্ব মারাত্মক অস্ত্র| এক জন মানুষের পরনে ছিল মসিনার কাপড়| তার কোমরে গোঁজা ছিল একটি লেখনী ও কালির একটি দোয়াত| ঐ লোকরা মন্দিরের পিতলের বেদীর কাছে গিয়ে সেখানে দাঁড়াল|
KJV : And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them [was] clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.
YLT : And lo, six men are coming from the way of the upper gate, that is facing the north, and each his slaughter-weapon in his hand, and one man in their midst is clothed with linen, and a scribe`s inkhorn at his loins, and they come in, and stand near the brazen altar.
RV : And behold, six men came from the way of the upper gate, which lieth toward the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man in the midst of them clothed in linen, with a writer-s inkhorn by his side. And they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.
RSV : And lo, six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, every man with his weapon for slaughter in his hand, and with them was a man clothed in linen, with a writing case at his side. And they went in and stood beside the bronze altar.
ASV : And behold, six men came from the way of the upper gate, which lieth toward the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man in the midst of them clothed in linen, with a writers inkhorn by his side. And they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar.
ESV : And behold, six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his weapon for slaughter in his hand, and with them was a man clothed in linen, with a writing case at his waist. And they went in and stood beside the bronze altar.
ERVEN : Then I saw six men walking on the road from the upper gate. This gate is on the north side. Each man had his own deadly weapon in his hand. One of the men wore linen clothes. He wore a scribe's pen and ink set at his waist. Those men went to the bronze altar in the Temple and stood there.

BNV : তারপর ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বরের মহিমা করূব দূতগণের মধ্য থেকে উঠে এল| সেখানেই তিনি ছিলেন| তারপর সেই গৌরব পরাক্রম মন্দিরের দরজা পর্য়ন্ত গেল| চৌকাঠের কাছে গিয়েই তিনি থামলেন| তারপর প্রভুর মহিমা মসিনা কাপড় পরা এবং লেখনী ও দোয়াত কোমরে বাঁধা লোকটিকে ডাকলেন|
KJV : And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which [had] the writer’s inkhorn by his side;
YLT : And the honour of the God of Israel hath gone up from off the cherub, on which it hath been, unto the threshold of the house.
RV : And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon it was, to the threshold of the house: and he called to the man clothed in linen, which had the writer-s inkhorn by his side.
RSV : Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherubim on which it rested to the threshold of the house; and he called to the man clothed in linen, who had the writing case at his side.
ASV : And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon it was, to the threshold of the house: and he called to the man clothed in linen, who had the writers inkhorn by his side.
ESV : Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub on which it rested to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed in linen, who had the writing case at his waist.
ERVEN : Then the Glory of the God of Israel rose from above the Cherub angels where he had been. Then the Glory went to the door of the Temple and stopped when he was over the threshold. Then he called to the man wearing the linen clothes and the scribe's pen and ink set.

BNV : তখন প্রভু (মহিমা) তাকে বললেন, “জেরুশালেম শহরের মধ্য দিয়ে যাও| সেই সব লোক যারা শহরের লোকদের ভয়ঙ্কর কাজকর্মের জন্য দুঃখ করে এবং মনমরা তাদের প্রত্যেকের কপালে দাগ দাও|”
KJV : And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
YLT : And He calleth unto the man who is clothed with linen, who hath the scribe`s inkhorn at his loins, and Jehovah saith unto him, `Pass on into the midst of the city, into the midst of Jerusalem, and thou hast made a mark on the foreheads of the men who are sighing and who are groaning for all the abominations that are done in its midst.`

ASV : And Jehovah said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in the midst thereof.
ESV : And the LORD said to him, "Pass through the city, through Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations that are committed in it."
ERVEN : Then the Lord (Glory) said to him, "Go through the city of Jerusalem. Put a mark on the forehead of everyone who feels sad and upset about all the terrible things people are doing in this city."

BNV : তারপর আমি শুনলাম ঈশ্বর অন্য বাকী লোকেদের বলছেন, “আমি চাই তোমরা প্রথম মানুষটিকে অনুসরণ কর| যে সব ব্যক্তির কপালে চিহ্ন নেই তাদের তোমরা অবশ্যই হত্যা করো| তারা প্রবীণ হোক, যুবক বা যুবতী, শিশু বা মায়েরা হোক তাতে কিছু আসে যায় না| কোন রকম দয়া দেখিও না| কোন ব্যক্তির জন্য দুঃখ বোধ করো না| এখানে আমার মন্দির থেকেই শুরু কর|” তাই তারা মন্দিরের সামনে যে প্রবীণরা ছিল তাদের দিয়েই শুরু করল|
KJV : And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
YLT : And to the others he said in mine ears, `Pass on into the city after him, and smite; your eye doth not pity, nor do ye spare;
RV : And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye through the city after him, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
RSV : And to the others he said in my hearing, "Pass through the city after him, and smite; your eye shall not spare, and you shall show no pity;
ASV : And to the others he said in my hearing, Go ye through the city after him, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity;
ESV : And to the others he said in my hearing, "Pass through the city after him, and strike. Your eye shall not spare, and you shall show no pity.
ERVEN : Then I heard God say to the other men, "I want you to follow the first man. You must kill all those who do not have the mark on their foreheads. It doesn't matter if they are elders, young men or young women, children or mothers—you must use your weapon and kill everyone who does not have the mark on their forehead. Don't show any mercy. Don't feel sorry for anyone. Start here at my Temple." So they started with the elders in front of the Temple.

KJV : Slay utterly old [and] young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom [is] the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which [were] before the house.
YLT : aged, young man, and virgin, and infant, and women, ye do slay -- to destruction; and against any man on whom [is] the mark ye do not go nigh, and from My sanctuary ye begin.`

BNV : ঈশ্বর তাদের বললেন, “এই মন্দির অশুচি কর| এর প্রাঙ্গন মৃতদেহ দিয়ে পূর্ণ কর! এখনই যাও!” তাই তারা গিয়ে শহরের লোকদের হত্যা করল|
KJV : And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
YLT : And they begin among the aged men who [are] before the house, and He saith unto them, `Defile the house, and fill the courts with the wounded, go forth.` And they have gone forth and have smitten in the city.
RV : And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and smote in the city.
RSV : Then he said to them, "Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go forth." So they went forth, and smote in the city.

ESV : Then he said to them, "Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out." So they went out and struck in the city.
ERVEN : He said to them, "Make this Temple unclean —fill this courtyard with dead bodies! Now go!" So they went and killed the people in the city.

BNV : এই লোকরা যখন শহরে গিয়ে লোক হত্যা করছিল সে সময় আমি সেখানেই ছিলাম| আমি মাটিতে উপুড় হয়ে পড়ে কেঁদে বললাম, “হে প্রভু, আমার সদাপ্রভু, জেরুশালেমের প্রতি তোমার রোধ প্রকাশ করতে কি তুমি ইস্রায়েলের অবশিষ্ট সবাইকেই হত্যা করবে?”
KJV : And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
YLT : And it cometh to pass, as they are smiting, and I -- I am left -- that I fall on my face, and cry, and say, `Ah, Lord Jehovah, art Thou destroying all the remnant of Israel, in Thy pouring out Thy wrath on Jerusalem?`
RV : And it came to pass, while they were smiting, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
RSV : And while they were smiting, and I was left alone, I fell upon my face, and cried, "Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all that remains of Israel in the outpouring of thy wrath upon Jerusalem?"
ASV : And it came to pass, while they were smiting, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord Jehovah! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy wrath upon Jerusalem?
ESV : And while they were striking, and I was left alone, I fell upon my face, and cried, "Ah, Lord GOD! Will you destroy all the remnant of Israel in the outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem?"
ERVEN : I stayed there while the men went to kill the people. I bowed with my face to the ground and said, "Oh Lord God, in showing your anger against Jerusalem, are you killing all the survivors in Israel?"

BNV : ঈশ্বর আমাকে বললেন, “ইস্রায়েল ও যিহূদা পরিবার বহু জঘন্য পাপ কাজ করেছে| দেশের সর্বত্র, লোকদের হত্যা করা হয়েছে| আর শহর অপরাধে পূর্ণ হয়ে গেছে! কেন? কারণ লোকরা নিজেদের মধ্যেই বলাবলি করে, ‘প্রভু এই শহর ত্যাগ করেছেন এবং চলে গেছেন| তাই আমরা কি করছি তা তিনি দেখতে পাবেন না|’
KJV : Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah [is] exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.
YLT : And He saith unto me, `The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah [is] very very great, and the land is full of blood, and the city hath been full of perverseness, for they have said: Jehovah hath forsaken the land, and Jehovah is not seeing.
RV : Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of wresting {cf15i of judgment}: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.
RSV : Then he said to me, "The guilt of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great; the land is full of blood, and the city full of injustice; for they say, `The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD does not see.'
ASV : Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of wrestling of judgment: for they say, Jehovah hath forsaken the land, and Jehovah seeth not.
ESV : Then he said to me, "The guilt of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is full of blood, and the city full of injustice. For they say, 'The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD does not see.'
ERVEN : He said, "The family of Israel and Judah have committed many very bad sins! People are being murdered everywhere in this country, and the city is filled with crime. That is because the people say to themselves, 'The Lord left this country. He cannot see what we are doing.'

BNV : আর আমিও কোন দয়া দেখাব না| এই লোকদের জন্য আমি অনুশোচনাও করব না| তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের ওপর ওসব এনেছে| আমি কেবল ঐ লোকদের তাদের পাওনা শাস্তি দিচ্ছি|”
KJV : And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, [but] I will recompense their way upon their head.
YLT : And I also, Mine eye doth not pity, nor do I spare; their way on their own head I have put.`
RV : And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way upon their head.
RSV : As for me, my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity, but I will requite their deeds upon their heads."
ASV : And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way upon their head.
ESV : As for me, my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity; I will bring their deeds upon their heads."
ERVEN : So I will not show any mercy or feel sorry for them. They brought it on themselves. I am only giving them the punishment they deserve!"

BNV : তারপর সেই মসিনা কাপড় পরা আর লেখনী ও কালির দোয়াত কোমরে বাঁধা লোকটা বললেন, “আপনি যা আজ্ঞা করেছেন তা আমি করেছি|”
KJV : And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which [had] the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.
YLT : And lo, the man clothed with linen, at whose loins [is] the inkhorn, is bringing back word, saying, `I have done as Thou hast commanded me.`
RV : And behold, the man clothed in linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.
RSV : And lo, the man clothed in linen, with the writing case at his side, brought back word, saying, "I have done as thou didst command me."
ASV : And behold, the man clothed in linen, who had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.
ESV : And behold, the man clothed in linen, with the writing case at his waist, brought back word, saying, "I have done as you commanded me."
ERVEN : Then the man wearing linen clothes and a scribe's pen and ink set spoke up. He said, "I have done what you commanded."
