BNV : সেদিনই রাজা অহশ্বেরশ রাণী ইষ্টেরকে হামনের যাবতীয় সম্পত্তি দিয়ে দিলেন| ইষ্টের রাজাকে জানালেন য়ে মর্দখয় সম্পর্কে তাঁর ভাই হয়| তারপর মর্দখয় রাজার সঙ্গে দেখা করতে এলেন|
KJV : On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews’ enemy unto Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he [was] unto her.
YLT : On that day hath the king Ahasuerus given to Esther the queen the house of Haman, adversary of the Jews, and Mordecai hath come in before the king, for Esther hath declared what he [is] to her,
RV : On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews enemy unto Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was unto her.

ERVEN : That same day King Xerxes gave Queen Esther everything that belonged to Haman, the enemy of the Jews. Esther told the king that Mordecai was her cousin. Then Mordecai came to see the king.

BNV : রাজা হামনের থেকে য়ে আংটিটা ইতিমধ্যে ফেরত নিয়ে নিয়েছিলেন সেটি নিজের আঙুল থেকে খুলে এবার মর্দখয়কে দিলেন| এরপর ইষ্টের মর্দখয়কে হামনের যাবতীয় সম্পত্তির দায়িত্ব অর্পণ করলেন|
KJV : And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.
YLT : and the king turneth aside his signet, that he hath caused to pass away from Haman, and giveth it to Mordecai, and Esther setteth Mordecai over the house of Haman.

ERVEN : The king had gotten his ring back from Haman. The king took the ring off his finger and gave it to Mordecai. Then Esther put Mordecai in charge of everything that belonged to Haman.

BNV : ইষ্টের এবার রাজার সঙ্গে কথা বলার সময় তাঁর পদতলে পড়ে কাঁদতে কাঁদতে হামনের ইহুদীদের হত্যা করার নিষ্ঠুর পরিকল্পনা তাঁকে পরিত্যাগ করতে বললেন| ইহুদীদের ক্ষতি সাধনের জন্যই হামন এই পরিকল্পনা করেছিলেন|
KJV : And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised against the Jews.
YLT : And Esther addeth, and speaketh before the king, and falleth before his feet, and weepeth, and maketh supplication to him, to cause the evil of Haman the Agagite to pass away, and his device that he had devised against the Jews;
RV : And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised against the Jews.
RSV : Then Esther spoke again to the king; she fell at his feet and besought him with tears to avert the evil design of Haman the Agagite and the plot which he had devised against the Jews.
ASV : And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised against the Jews.
ESV : Then Esther spoke again to the king. She fell at his feet and wept and pleaded with him to avert the evil plan of Haman the Agagite and the plot that he had devised against the Jews.
ERVEN : Then Esther spoke to the king again. She fell at the king's feet and began crying. She begged the king to cancel the evil plan of Haman the Agagite. Haman had thought up the plan to hurt the Jews.

BNV : রাজা তখন তাঁর সামনে সোনার রাজদণ্ডটি বাড়িয়ে দিলে, ইষ্টের উঠে দাঁড়িয়ে বললেন,
KJV : Then the king held out the golden sceptre toward Esther. So Esther arose, and stood before the king,
YLT : and the king holdeth out to Esther the golden sceptre, and Esther riseth, and standeth before the king,

BNV : “হে রাজন, যদি আপনি আমায় পছন্দ করে থাকেন এবং যদি খুশী হ’ন, তাহলে দয়া করে আমার জন্য এইটুকু করুন| আপনার যদি মনে হয়, আমি যা বলছি তা সঠিক এবং আপনি যদি আমার প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হয়ে থাকেন তাহলে আগের নির্দেশটি খণ্ডন করার জন্য একটি নতুন নির্দেশ লিখে দিন| হামন, ইহুদীদের হত্যার নির্দেশ দিয়ে এর আগে প্রতিটি প্রদেশে খবর পাঠিয়েছে|
KJV : And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing [seem] right before the king, and I [be] pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which [are] in all the king’s provinces:
YLT : and saith, `If to the king [it be] good, and if I have found grace before him, and the thing hath been right before the king, and I [be] good in his eyes, let it be written to bring back the letters -- a device of Haman son of Hammedatha the Agagite -- that he wrote to destroy the Jews who [are] in all provinces of the king,

ASV : And she said, If it please the king, and if I have found favor in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews that are in all the kings provinces:
ESV : Esther rose and stood before the king. And she said, "If it please the king, and if I have found favor in his sight, and if the thing seems right before the king, and I am pleasing in his eyes, let an order be written to revoke the letters devised by Haman the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha, which he wrote to destroy the Jews who are in all the provinces of the king.
ERVEN : Then she said, "King, if you like me and if it pleases you, please do this for me. Please do this if you think it is a good idea. If the king is happy with me, please write a command that would stop the command Haman sent out. Haman the Agagite thought of a plan to destroy the Jews in all the king's provinces, and he sent out commands for this to happen.

BNV : কিন্তু আমার পক্ষে আমার স্বজাতিদের এই নৃশংস হত্যাকাণ্ড দেখা সম্ভব নয় বলেই আমি মহারাজের কাছে এই একান্ত মিনতি করছি|”
KJV : For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?
YLT : for how do I endure when I have looked on the evil that doth find my people? and how do I endure when I have looked on the destruction of my kindred?`
RV : for how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?
RSV : For how can I endure to see the calamity that is coming to my people? Or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?"

ESV : For how can I bear to see the calamity that is coming to my people? Or how can I bear to see the destruction of my kindred?"
ERVEN : I am begging the king because I could not bear to see these terrible things happen to my people. I could not bear to see my family killed."

BNV : রাজা অহশ্বেরশ তখন রাণী ইষ্টের ও মর্দখয়কে উত্তর দিলেন, “য়েহেতু হামন ইহুদী বিদ্বেষী ছিল সেহেতু আমি ওর সমস্ত সম্পত্তি ইষ্টেরকে দিয়েছি| আমার সেনারা হামনকে ফাঁসিকাঠে ঝুলিয়ে দিয়েছে|
KJV : Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews.
YLT : And the king Ahasuerus saith to Esther the queen, and to Mordecai the Jew, `Lo, the house of Haman I have given to Esther, and him they have hanged on the tree, because that he put forth his hand on the Jews,

ESV : Then King Ahasuerus said to Queen Esther and to Mordecai the Jew, "Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and they have hanged him on the gallows, because he intended to lay hands on the Jews.
ERVEN : King Xerxes answered Queen Esther and Mordecai the Jew. This is what the king said: "Because Haman was against the Jews, I have given his property to Esther. And my soldiers have hanged him on the hanging post.

BNV : এখন রাজার বকলমে, তোমাদের মতে ইহুদীদের সবচেযে বেশি সাহায্য হবে এমন ভাবে একটি নির্দেশ (তোমরা) লেখো|” তারপর রাজার আংটিটি দিয়ে সেটাতে শীলমোহর দাও| রাজার বকলমে লেখা এবং রাজার আংটিটি দিয়ে সীলমোহর করা আদেশ কখনো বাতিল করা যায় না|”
KJV : Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king’s name, and seal [it] with the king’s ring: for the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, may no man reverse.
YLT : and ye, write ye for the Jews, as [it is] good in your eyes, in the name of the king, and seal with the signet of the king -- for the writing that is written in the name of the king, and sealed with the signet of the king, there is none to turn back.`
RV : Write ye also to the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king-s name, and seal it with the king-s ring: for the writing which is written in the king-s name, and sealed with the king-s ring, may no man reverse.

ERVEN : Now write another command by the authority of the king. Write it to help the Jews in a way that seems best to you. Then seal the order with the king's special ring. No official letter written by the authority of the king and sealed with the king's ring can be canceled."

BNV : দ্রুত রাজার সমস্ত সচিবকে ডেকে পাঠানো হল| তৃতীয় মাসে অর্থাত্‌ সীবন মাসের 23 দিনে একাজ করা হল| এই সমস্ত সচিবরা তখন ইহুদীদের জন্য দেওয়া মর্দখয়ের নির্দেশগুলো লিখে নিল| সেই নির্দেশ ভারতবর্ষ থেকে কূশ দেশ পর্য়ন্ত বিস্তৃত 127 টি প্রদেশের প্রশাসক ও নেতা সকলকে পাঠানো হল| প্রত্যেকটি প্রাদেশিক ভাষায় ও সর্বজনবোধ্য ভাষায় নির্দেশগুলি লেখা হয়েছিল যাতে সবাই সহজে বুঝতে পারে| ইহুদীদের জন্য এই নির্দেশ তাদের নিজেদের ভাষায়, নিজস্ব বর্ণমালায লেখা হয়েছিল|
KJV : Then were the king’s scribes called at that time in the third month, that [is,] the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth [day] thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which [are] from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language.
YLT : And the scribes of the king are called, at that time, in the third month -- it [is] the month of Sivan -- in the three and twentieth of it, and it is written, according to all that Mordecai hath commanded, unto the Jews, and unto the lieutenants, and the governors, and the heads of the provinces, that [are] from Hodu even unto Cush, seven and twenty and a hundred provinces -- province and province according to its writing, and people and people according to its tongue, and unto the Jews according to their writing, and according to their tongue.

ERVEN : Very quickly the king's secretaries were called. This was done on the 23 day of the third month, the month of Sivan. They wrote out all of Mordecai's commands to the Jews, and to the satraps, the governors, and officials of the 127 provinces. These provinces reached from India to Ethiopia. The commands were written in the language of each province and translated into the language of each group of people. The commands were written to the Jews in their own language and alphabet.

BNV : মর্দখয় বয়ং রাজা অহশ্বেরশের বকলমে এই নির্দেশগুলি লিখে, চিঠিগুলি রাজার আংটি দিয়ে সীলমোহর করে বন্ধ করলেন এবং দ্রুতগামী অশ্বারোহী বার্তাবাহকদের দিয়ে পাঠিয়ে দেওয়া হল| এই সমস্ত ঘোড়াগুলোকে রাজার নিজের ব্যবহারের জন্যই বিশেষভাবে তৈরী করা হতো|
KJV : And he wrote in the king Ahasuerus’ name, and sealed it with the king’s ring, and sent letters by posts on horseback, [and] riders on mules, camels, [and] young dromedaries:
YLT : And he writeth in the name of the king Ahasuerus, and sealeth with the signet of the king, and sendeth letters by the hand of the runners with horses, riders of the dromedary, the mules, the young mares,
RV : And he wrote in the name of king Ahasuerus, and sealed it with the king-s ring, and sent letters by posts on horseback, riding on swift steeds that were used in the king-s service, bred of the stud:
RSV : The writing was in the name of King Ahasuerus and sealed with the king's ring, and letters were sent by mounted couriers riding on swift horses that were used in the king's service, bred from the royal stud.
ASV : And he wrote the name of king Ahasuerus, and sealed it with the kings ring, and sent letters by post on horseback, riding on swift steeds that were used in the kings service, bred of the stud:
ESV : And he wrote in the name of King Ahasuerus and sealed it with the king's signet ring. Then he sent the letters by mounted couriers riding on swift horses that were used in the king's service, bred from the royal stud,
ERVEN : Mordecai wrote commands by the authority of King Xerxes. Then he sealed the letters with the king's ring and sent them by messengers on horses. The messengers rode fast horses, which were raised especially for the king.

BNV : এই সমস্ত চিঠিতে, রাজা অহশ্বেরশের নির্দেশ বলা হল:প্রতিটি শহরে ইহুদীদের সমবেত ভাবে তাদের নিজেদের রক্ষা করার অধিকার দেওয়া হল| তাদের বা তাদের নারী ও শিশুদের যদি কোন দল আক্রমণ করে তাহলে তারা সেই শএুদের দলকে হত্যা ও ধ্বংস করতে পারবে এবং ইহুদীদের তাদের শএুদের সম্পদ লুঠ করার অধিকারও দেওয়া হল|
KJV : Wherein the king granted the Jews which [were] in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, [both] little ones and women, and [to take] the spoil of them for a prey,
YLT : that the king hath given to the Jews who [are] in every city and city, to be assembled, and to stand for their life, to cut off, to slay, and to destroy the whole force of the people and province who are distressing them, infants and women, and their spoil to seize.
RV : wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, {cf15i their} little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey,

ASV : wherein the king granted the Jews that were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, their little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey,
ESV : saying that the king allowed the Jews who were in every city to gather and defend their lives, to destroy, to kill, and to annihilate any armed force of any people or province that might attack them, children and women included, and to plunder their goods,
ERVEN : The king's commands in the letters said this: The Jews in every city have the right to gather together to protect themselves. They have the right to ruin, kill, and completely destroy any army from any group who might attack them and their women and children. And the Jews have the right to take and destroy the property of their enemies.

BNV : ইহুদীদের এই অধিকার দেওয়া হল দ্বাদশ মাস অর্থাত্‌ অদর মাসের
KJV : Upon one day in all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, [namely,] upon the thirteenth [day] of the twelfth month, which [is] the month Adar.
YLT : In one day, in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, on the thirteenth of the twelfth month -- it [is] the month of Adar --
RV : upon one day in all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, {cf15i namely}, upon the thirteenth {cf15i day} of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar.

ERVEN : The day set for the Jews to do this was the 13 day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar. They were permitted to do this in all King Xerxes' provinces.

KJV : The copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every province [was] published unto all people, and that the Jews should be ready against that day to avenge themselves on their enemies.
YLT : a copy of the writing to be made law in every province and province is revealed to all the peoples, and for the Jews being ready at this day to be avenged of their enemies.
RV : A copy of the writing, that the decree should be given out in every province, was published unto all the peoples, and that the Jews should be ready against that day to avenge themselves on their enemies.

ERVEN : A copy of the letter with the king's command was to be sent out. It became a law in every province. They announced it to all the people of every nation living in the kingdom. They did this so that the Jews would be ready for that special day. They would be allowed to pay their enemies back.

BNV : বার্তাবাহকরা রাজার নির্দেশে রাজার ঘোড়ায় চড়ে দ্রুত যাত্রা করল কারণ রাজা তাদের তাড়াতাড়ি যাবার জন্য আদেশ দিলেন| নির্দেশটি রাজধানীতেও টাঙিযে দেওয়া হল|
KJV : [So] the posts that rode upon mules [and] camels went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king’s commandment. And the decree was given at Shushan the palace.
YLT : The runners, riding on the dromedary, [and] the mules, have gone out, hastened and pressed by the word of the king, and the law hath been given in Shushan the palace.
RV : So the posts that rode upon swift steeds that were used in the king-s service went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king-s commandment; and the decree was given out in Shushan the palace.
RSV : So the couriers, mounted on their swift horses that were used in the king's service, rode out in haste, urged by the king's command; and the decree was issued in Susa the capital.
ASV : So the posts that rode upon swift steeds that were used in the kings service went out, being hastened and pressed on by the kings commandment; and the decree was given out in Shushan the palace.
ESV : So the couriers, mounted on their swift horses that were used in the king's service, rode out hurriedly, urged by the king's command. And the decree was issued in Susa the citadel.
ERVEN : The messengers hurried out, riding on the king's horses. The king commanded them to hurry. And the command was also put in the capital city of Susa.

BNV : মর্দখয় রাজার কাছ থেকে চলে গেলেন| তিনি রাজার উপহার দেওয়া নীল ও সাদা রঙের একটি বিশেষ পোশাক ও সোনার বড় একটি মুকুট এবং বেগুনী লিনেন কাপড়ের আলখাল্লাও পরেছিলেন|
KJV : And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.

RSV : Then Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal robes of blue and white, with a great golden crown and a mantle of fine linen and purple, while the city of Susa shouted and rejoiced.

ESV : Then Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal robes of blue and white, with a great golden crown and a robe of fine linen and purple, and the city of Susa shouted and rejoiced.
ERVEN : Mordecai left the king. He was wearing special clothes from the king. His clothes were blue and white, and he had on a large gold crown. He also had a purple robe made of the best linen. There was a special celebration in Susa. The people were very happy.

ERVEN : Wherever the king's command went in every province and every city, there was joy and gladness among the Jews. They were having parties and celebrating. Many of the common people from other groups became Jews. They did this because they were very afraid of the Jews.
