BNV : তৃতীয় দিন ইষ্টের তাঁর বিশেষ পোশাক পরিধান করে রাজার প্রাসাদের ভেতরে গিয়ে রাজ দরবারের সামনে, রাজা যেখানে দরবার কক্ষের প্রবেশ পথের দিকে মুখ করে তাঁর সিংহাসনে বসতেন, সেখানে গিয়ে দাঁড়ালেন|
KJV : Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on [her] royal [apparel,] and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.
YLT : And it cometh to pass on the third day, that Esther putteth on royalty, and standeth in the inner-court of the house of the king over-against the house of the king, and the king is sitting on his royal throne, in the royal-house, over-against the opening of the house,
RV : Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king-s house, over against the king-s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the entrance of the house.
RSV : On the third day Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king's palace, opposite the king's hall. The king was sitting on his royal throne inside the palace opposite the entrance to the palace;
ASV : Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the kings house, over against the kings house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the entrance of the house.
ESV : On the third day Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king's palace, in front of the king's quarters, while the king was sitting on his royal throne inside the throne room opposite the entrance to the palace.
ERVEN : On the third day, Esther put on her special robes. Then she stood in the inside area of the king's palace, in front of the king's hall. The king was sitting on his throne in the hall, facing the place where people enter the throne room.

BNV : রাণীকে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতে দেখে রাজা খুবই খুশী হলেন এবং তত্‌ক্ষণাত্‌ তাঁর দিকে নিজের সোনার রাজদণ্ডটি এগিয়ে দিলেন| ইষ্টের তখন সভার ভেতরে রাজার সান্নিধ্যে গিয়ে সুবর্ণ রাজদণ্ডের শেষাংশ স্পর্শ করলেন|
KJV : And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, [that] she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that [was] in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.
YLT : and it cometh to pass, at the king`s seeing Esther the queen standing in the court, she hath received grace in his eyes, and the king holdeth out to Esther the golden sceptre that [is] in his hand, and Esther draweth near, and toucheth the top of the sceptre.
RV : And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.
RSV : and when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, she found favor in his sight and he held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther approached and touched the top of the scepter.
ASV : And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favor in his sight; and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.
ESV : And when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, she won favor in his sight, and he held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter.
ERVEN : When the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, he was very pleased. He held out to her the gold scepter that was in his hand. So Esther went in to the room and went near the king. Then she touched the end of the king's gold scepter.

BNV : তখন রাজা ইষ্টেরকে রশ্ন করলেন, “কি কারণে তোমায় এতো বিমর্ষ দেখাচ্ছে রাণী ইষ্টের? তুমি কি আমায় কিছু জিজ্ঞেস করতে চাও? আমার কাছে যদি তুমি কিছু চাও, এমনকি তুমি যদি রাজ্যের অর্ধেকও চাও তাও আমি তোমায দেবো|”
KJV : Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what [is] thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.
YLT : And the king saith to her, `What -- to thee Esther, O queen? and what thy request? unto the half of the kingdom -- and it is given to thee.`
RV : Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be given thee even to the half of the kingdom.
RSV : And the king said to her, "What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given you, even to the half of my kingdom."
ASV : Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be given thee even to the half of the kingdom.
ESV : And the king said to her, "What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given you, even to the half of my kingdom."
ERVEN : Then the king asked, "What is bothering you Queen Esther? What do you want to ask me? I will give you anything you ask for, even half my kingdom."

BNV : ইষ্টের জবাব দিলেন, “আমি আপনার জন্য ও হামনের জন্য একটি ভোজের আয়োজন করেছি| দয়া করে হামনের সঙ্গে আজ সেই ভোজসভায় আসুন|” রাজা বললেন, “হামনকে শীঘ্রই নিয়ে এসো যাতে ইষ্টের যা বলছে আমরা তাই করতে পারি|” অতএব রাজা ও হামন ইষ্টেরের আযোজিত ভোজসভায় গেলেন| যখন তাঁরা দ্রাক্ষারস পান করছিলেন তখন রাজা আবার ইষ্টেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, “তোমার অনুরোধটা কি? তুমি যদি আমার রাজ্যের অর্ধেকও চাও তা তোমায় দেওয়া হবে| ইষ্টের উত্তর দিলেন, “আমার অনুরোধ হল, রাজা যদি আমার ওপর খুশী হয়ে থাকেন এবং তিনি যদি আমার ইচ্ছামত জিনিষ আমাকে দিতে পারেন তাহলে আমার ইচ্ছা হল: আমি চাই রাজা এবং হামন দয়া করে আগামীকাল আমার বাড়ীতে আসুন| আমি একটি ভোজসভার আয়োজন করব এবং ঐ সভায় আমার ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করব|”
KJV : And Esther answered, If [it seem] good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.
YLT : And Esther saith, `If unto the king [it be] good, the king doth come in, and Haman, to-day, unto the banquet that I have made for him;`
RV : And Esther said, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.
RSV : And Esther said, "If it please the king, let the king and Haman come this day to a dinner that I have prepared for the king."
ASV : And Esther said, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.
ESV : And Esther said, "If it please the king, let the king and Haman come today to a feast that I have prepared for the king."
ERVEN : Esther said, "I have prepared a party for you and Haman. Will you and Haman please come to the party today?"

KJV : Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.
YLT : and the king saith, `Haste ye Haman -- to do the word of Esther;` and the king cometh in, and Haman, unto the banquet that Esther hath made.
RV : Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that it may be done as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.
RSV : Then said the king, "Bring Haman quickly, that we may do as Esther desires." So the king and Haman came to the dinner that Esther had prepared.

KJV : And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What [is] thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what [is] thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.
YLT : And the king saith to Esther, during the banquet of wine, `What [is] thy petition? and it is given to thee; and what thy request? unto the half of the kingdom -- and it is done.`
RV : And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall he granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.
RSV : And as they were drinking wine, the king said to Esther, "What is your petition? It shall be granted you. And what is your request? Even to the half of my kingdom, it shall be fulfilled."
ASV : And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.
ESV : And as they were drinking wine after the feast, the king said to Esther, "What is your wish? It shall be granted you. And what is your request? Even to the half of my kingdom, it shall be fulfilled."
ERVEN : While they were drinking wine, the king asked her again, "Now Esther, what do you want to ask for? Ask for anything, I will give it to you. So what is it you want? I will give you anything you want, up to half my kingdom."

KJV : If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.
YLT : if I have found grace in the eyes of the king, and if unto the king [it be] good, to give my petition, and to perform my request, the king doth come, and Haman, unto the banquet that I make for them, and to-morrow I do according to the word of the king.`

ERVEN : If the king is pleased with me and thinks it good to give me what I ask for, let the king and Haman come tomorrow. I will prepare another party for them. Then I will tell what I really want."

BNV : হামন সেদিন রাজার বাড়ী থেকে খুবই খুশি মনে ও আনন্দিত চিত্তে আসছিলেন, কিন্তু রাজতোরনের সামনে মর্দখয়কে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতে দেখে তিনি খুব রেগে গেলেন| তিনি যখন পাশ দিয়ে গেলেন তখন মর্দখয় মাথা নীচু করলেন না বা হামনকে সম্মান দেখালেন না| তিনি হামনকে কখনও ভয় পেতেন না আর এ ব্যপারে হামন খুব রুদ্ধ ছিলেন|
KJV : Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king’s gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mordecai.
YLT : And Haman goeth forth on that day rejoicing and glad in heart, and at Haman`s seeing Mordecai in the gate of the king, and he hath not risen nor moved for him, then is Haman full of fury against Mordecai.
RV : Then went Haman forth that day joyful and glad of heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king-s gate, that he stood not up nor moved for him, he was filled with wrath against Mordecai.

ERVEN : Haman left the king's palace that day very happy and in a good mood. But when he saw Mordecai at the king's gate, he became very angry. Haman was very mad at him because Mordecai didn't show any respect when Haman walked by. Mordecai was not afraid of Haman, and this made Haman mad.

BNV : যাই হোক কোন মতে রাগ চেপে হামন বাড়ি চলে গেলেন| বাড়ি ফিরে হামন তাঁর বন্ধুদের ও স্ত্রী সেরশকে ডেকে পাঠালেন|
KJV : Nevertheless Haman refrained himself: and when he came home, he sent and called for his friends, and Zeresh his wife.
YLT : And Haman forceth himself, and cometh in unto his house, and sendeth, and bringeth in his friends, and Zeresh his wife,
RV : Nevertheless Haman refrained himself, and went home; and he sent and fetched his friends and Zeresh his wife.
RSV : Nevertheless Haman restrained himself, and went home; and he sent and fetched his friends and his wife Zeresh.

ERVEN : But Haman controlled his anger and went home. Then Haman called together his friends and his wife, Zeresh.

BNV : তারপর তিনি কত বড়লোক তা নিয়ে, তাঁর পুত্রদের সংখ্যা নিয়ে ও রাজা তাঁকে কি ভাবে খাতির করেন তা নিয়ে বড়াই করতে শুরু করলেন| রাজা য়ে তাঁকে রাজ্যের সর্বোচচ পদটি দিয়েছেন একথাও তিনি জানাতে ভুললেন না|
KJV : And Haman told them of the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children, and all [the things] wherein the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.
YLT : and Haman recounteth to them the glory of his wealth, and the abundance of his sons, and all that with which the king made him great, and with which he lifted him up above the heads and servants of the king.
RV : And Haman recounted unto them the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children, and all the things wherein the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.
RSV : And Haman recounted to them the splendor of his riches, the number of his sons, all the promotions with which the king had honored him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and the servants of the king.

ERVEN : Haman started bragging about how rich he was. He was bragging to his friends about his many sons, and about all the ways the king had honored him. And he was bragging about how the king had promoted him higher than all the other leaders.

BNV : “শুধু এই নয়,” হামন বললেন, “রাণী আগামীকাল রাজার জন্য য়ে ভোজসভার ব্যবস্থা করেছেন তাতে এক মাত্র আমাকেই রাজার সঙ্গে য়েতে আমন্ত্রণ জানিয়েছেন|
KJV : Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to morrow am I invited unto her also with the king.
YLT : And Haman saith, `Yea, Esther the queen brought none in with the king, unto the feast that she made, except myself, and also for to-morrow I am called to her, with the king,
RV : Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and tomorrow also am I invited by her together with the king.

ESV : Then Haman said, "Even Queen Esther let no one but me come with the king to the feast she prepared. And tomorrow also I am invited by her together with the king.
ERVEN : "And that's not all," Haman added. "I'm the only one Queen Esther invited to be with the king at the party she gave. And the Queen also has invited me to be with the king again tomorrow.

BNV : কিন্তু এসব সত্ত্বেও আমি খুশি হতে পারছি না| যতক্ষণ ওই ইহুদী মর্দখয়টাকে রাজদ্বারের কাছে বসে থাকতে দেখবো ততক্ষণ আমার পক্ষে খুশী হওয়া সম্ভব নয়|”
KJV : Yet all this availeth me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.
YLT : and all this is not profitable to me, during all the time that I am seeing Mordecai the Jew sitting in the gate of the king.`
RV : Yet all this availeth me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king-s gate.
RSV : Yet all this does me no good, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king's gate."

ERVEN : But all these things don't really make me happy. I'm not really happy as long as I see that Jew Mordecai sitting at the king's gate."

BNV : তখন হামনের স্ত্রী সেরশ ও হামনের বন্ধুরা পরামর্শ দিলেন, “কাউকে দিয়ে একটা বড় 75 ফুট মতো থাম্বা বানিয়ে, রাজাকে বলো সকাল বেলা ওটায মর্দখয়কে ফাঁসি দিতে| আর তারপর খুশি মনে রাজাকে নিয়ে ভোজসভায় য়েও!”এই প্রস্তাবটা হামনের বেশ মনে ধরায, তিনি মর্দখয়কে ফাঁসি দেবার জন্য স্তম্ভ বানাতে হুকুম দিলেন|
KJV : Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
YLT : And Zeresh his wife saith to him, and all his friends, `Let them prepare a tree, in height fifty cubits, and in the morning speak to the king, and they hang Mordecai on it, and go thou in with the king unto the banquet rejoicing;` and the thing is good before Haman, and he prepareth the tree.
RV : Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and in the morning speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
RSV : Then his wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, "Let a gallows fifty cubits high be made, and in the morning tell the king to have Mordecai hanged upon it; then go merrily with the king to the dinner." This counsel pleased Haman, and he had the gallows made.
ASV : Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made fifty cubits high, and in the morning speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
ESV : Then his wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, "Let a gallows fifty cubits high be made, and in the morning tell the king to have Mordecai hanged upon it. Then go joyfully with the king to the feast." This idea pleased Haman, and he had the gallows made.
ERVEN : Then Haman's wife Zeresh and all his friends had a suggestion. They said, "Tell someone to build a post to hang him on. Make it 75 feet tall. In the morning, ask the king to hang Mordecai on it. Then go to the party with the king and you can be happy." Haman liked this suggestion, so he ordered someone to build the hanging post.
