BNV : “প্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, তোমাদের য়ে দেশ দিচ্ছেন, সেখানকার ক্ষেতে যদি তোমরা কোনো মৃতদেহ পড়ে থাকতে দেখ, কিন্তু কে হত্যা করেছে তা যদি জানা না যায়,
KJV : If [one] be found slain in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, [and] it be not known who hath slain him:
YLT : `When one is found slain on the ground which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee to possess it -- fallen in a field -- it is not known who hath smitten him,
RV : If one be found slain in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath smitten him:
RSV : "If in the land which the LORD your God gives you to possess, any one is found slain, lying in the open country, and it is not known who killed him,
ASV : If one be found slain in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath smitten him;
ESV : "If in the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess someone is found slain, lying in the open country, and it is not known who killed him,
ERVEN : "In the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you might find a dead body in a field, but no one knows who killed that person.

BNV : তখন তোমাদের দলনেতারা এবং বিচারকরা সেখানে যাবে এবং নিহত ব্যক্তির চারদিকের শহরগুলোর দূরত্ব পরিমাপ করবে|
KJV : Then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which [are] round about him that is slain:
YLT : then have thine elders and thy judges gone out and measured unto the cities which [are] round about the slain one,
RV : then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain:
RSV : then your elders and your judges shall come forth, and they shall measure the distance to the cities which are around him that is slain;
ASV : then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain:
ESV : then your elders and your judges shall come out, and they shall measure the distance to the surrounding cities.
ERVEN : Your leaders and judges must come out and measure the distance to the towns around the dead body.

BNV : যখন তোমরা জানতে পারবে কোন শহরটি নিহত ব্যক্তির সবথেকে কাছে, তখন সেই শহরের দলনেতারা তাদের পশুশালা থেকে এমন একটি গোবত্স নিয়ে আসবে যাকে কখনই কোন কাজে ব্যবহার করা হয় নি এবং য়ে য়োযালি বহন করে নি|
KJV : And it shall be, [that] the city [which is] next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer, which hath not been wrought with, [and] which hath not drawn in the yoke;
YLT : and it hath been, the city which [is] near unto the slain one, even the elders of that city have taken a heifer of the herd, which hath not been wrought with, which hath not drawn in the yoke,
RV : and it shall be, that the city which is nearest unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer of the herd, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke;
RSV : and the elders of the city which is nearest to the slain man shall take a heifer which has never been worked and which has not pulled in the yoke.
ASV : and it shall be, that the city which is nearest unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take a heifer of the herd, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke;
ESV : And the elders of the city that is nearest to the slain man shall take a heifer that has never been worked and that has not pulled in a yoke.
ERVEN : When you learn which town is nearest to the dead body, the leaders of that town must take a cow from their herds. It must be a cow that never had a calf and that has never been used for work.

BNV : সেই শহরের দলনেতারা তখন গোবত্সটিকে এমন একটি উপত্যকায নামিযে আনবে যেখানে সবসময় জলের স্রোত বয| এটিকে অবশ্যই এমন একটি উপত্যকা হতে হবে যা কখনও চাষ করা হয়নি বা যেখানে কিছু রোপণ করা হয়নি| এরপর নেতারা সেই উপত্যকায গোবত্সটির ঘাড় ভাঙ্গবে|
KJV : And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer’s neck there in the valley:
YLT : and the elders of that city have brought down the heifer unto a hard valley, which is not tilled nor sown, and have beheaded there the heifer in the valley.
RV : and the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a valley with running water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and shall break the heifer-s neck there in the valley:
RSV : And the elders of that city shall bring the heifer down to a valley with running water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and shall break the heifer's neck there in the valley.
ASV : and the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a valley with running water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and shall break the heifers neck there in the valley.
ESV : And the elders of that city shall bring the heifer down to a valley with running water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and shall break the heifer's neck there in the valley.
ERVEN : The leaders of that town must then bring the cow down to a valley with running water. It must be a valley that has never been plowed or had anything planted in it. Then the leaders must break the cow's neck there in that valley.

BNV : যাজকরা, লেবীর উত্তরপুরুষরা অবশ্যই সেখানে যাবে| (প্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বর তাঁর সেবার জন্য এবং তাঁর নামে লোকদের আশীর্বাদ করার জন্য এই যাজকদের নির্বাচিত করেছেন| এবং সমস্ত বিবাদ ও আঘাতের বিচার তারাই করবেন|)
KJV : And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be [tried: ]
YLT : `And the priests, sons of Levi, have come nigh -- for on them hath Jehovah thy God fixed to serve Him, and to bless in the name of Jehovah, and by their mouth is every strife, and every stroke --
RV : and the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD; and according to their word shall every controversy and every stroke be:
RSV : And the priests the sons of Levi shall come forward, for the LORD your God has chosen them to minister to him and to bless in the name of the LORD, and by their word every dispute and every assault shall be settled.
ASV : And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them Jehovah thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of Jehovah; and according to their word shall every controversy and every stroke be.
ESV : Then the priests, the sons of Levi, shall come forward, for the LORD your God has chosen them to minister to him and to bless in the name of the LORD, and by their word every dispute and every assault shall be settled.
ERVEN : The priests, the descendants of Levi, must also go there. (The Lord your God has chosen these priests to serve him and to bless people in his name. The priests will decide who is right in every lawsuit and whenever someone is hurt.)

BNV : নিহত ব্যক্তির সব থেকে কাছের শহরের সমস্ত নেতারা উপত্যকায য়ে গোবত্সের ঘাড় ভাঙ্গা হয়েছিল তার ওপরে অবশ্যই তাদের হাত ধোবে|
KJV : And all the elders of that city, [that are] next unto the slain [man,] shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley:
YLT : and all the elders of that city, who are near unto the slain one, do wash their hands over the heifer which is beheaded in the valley,
RV : and all the elders of that city, who are nearest unto the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley:

ERVEN : All the leaders of the town nearest the dead body must wash their hands over the cow that had its neck broken in the valley.

BNV : এই নেতারা বলবে, ‘আমরা এই ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করিনি এবং আমরা এটি ঘটতেও দেখিনি|
KJV : And they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen [it. ]
YLT : and they have answered and said, Our hands have not shed this blood, and our eyes have not seen --
RV : and they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it.
RSV : and they shall testify, `Our hands did not shed this blood, neither did our eyes see it shed.
ASV : and they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it.
ESV : and they shall testify, 'Our hands did not shed this blood, nor did our eyes see it shed.
ERVEN : These leaders must say, 'We did not kill this person, and we did not see it happen.

BNV : হে প্রভু, তুমি য়ে ইস্রায়েলকে রক্ষা করেছিলে তাদেরই শুদ্ধ করো| একজন নিরপরাধ লোককে হত্যা করার দোষ আমাদের ওপর চাপিও না|’ এই ভাবে একজন নিরপরাধ লোককে হত্যা করার জন্য ঐ সমস্ত লোকদের দোষ ক্ষমা করা হবে|
KJV : Be merciful, O LORD, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel’s charge. And the blood shall be forgiven them.
YLT : receive atonement for Thy people Israel, whom Thou hast ransomed, O Jehovah, and suffer not innocent blood in the midst of Thy people Israel; and the blood hath been pardoned to them,
RV : Forgive, O LORD, thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and suffer not innocent blood {cf15i to remain} in the midst of thy people Israel. And the blood shall be forgiven them.
RSV : Forgive, O LORD, thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and set not the guilt of innocent blood in the midst of thy people Israel; but let the guilt of blood be forgiven them.'
ASV : Forgive, O Jehovah, thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and suffer not innocent blood to remain in the midst of thy people Israel. And the blood shall be forgiven them.
ESV : Accept atonement, O LORD, for your people Israel, whom you have redeemed, and do not set the guilt of innocent blood in the midst of your people Israel, so that their blood guilt be atoned for.'
ERVEN : Lord, you saved Israel. We are your people. Now make us pure. Don't blame us for killing an innocent person.' In this way these men will not be blamed for killing an innocent person.

BNV : এই ভাবে তোমরা প্রভুর চোখে যা যথার্থ তাই করবে এবং তোমাদের জাতি থেকে নিরপরাধের রক্তপাতের দোষ দূর করবে|
KJV : So shalt thou put away the [guilt of] innocent blood from among you, when thou shalt do [that which is] right in the sight of the LORD.
YLT : and thou dost put away the innocent blood out of thy midst, for thou dost that which [is] right in the eyes of Jehovah.
RV : So shalt thou put away the innocent blood from the midst of thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD.
RSV : So you shall purge the guilt of innocent blood from your midst, when you do what is right in the sight of the LORD.
ASV : So shalt thou put away the innocent blood from the midst of thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah.
ESV : So you shall purge the guilt of innocent blood from your midst, when you do what is right in the sight of the LORD.
ERVEN : In this way you will remove that guilt from your group by doing what the Lord said.

BNV : “তোমরা তোমাদের শত্রুদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করতে গেলে প্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বর তাদের পরাজিত করতে তোমাদের সাহায্য করতে পারেন এবং তোমরা তোমাদের শত্রুদের বন্দী করে আনতে পারো|
KJV : When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive,
YLT : `When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and Jehovah thy God hath given them into thy hand, and thou hast taken captive its captivity,
RV : When thou goest forth to battle against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God delivereth them into thine hands, and thou carriest them away captive,
RSV : "When you go forth to war against your enemies, and the LORD your God gives them into your hands, and you take them captive,
ASV : When thou goest forth to battle against thine enemies, and Jehovah thy God delivereth them into thy hands, and thou carriest them away captive,
ESV : "When you go out to war against your enemies, and the LORD your God gives them into your hand and you take them captive,
ERVEN : "You might fight against your enemies, and the Lord your God might let you defeat them and take them as captives.

BNV : বন্দীদের মধ্যে কোনো সুন্দরী স্ত্রীলোককে দেখে মুগ্ধ হয়ে তোমাদের স্ত্রী হিসেবে তোমরা চাইতে পারো|
KJV : And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife;
YLT : and hast seen in the captivity a woman of fair form, and hast delighted in her, and hast taken to thee for a wife,
RV : and seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and thou hast a desire unto her, and wouldest take her to thee to wife;
RSV : and see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you have desire for her and would take her for yourself as wife,
ASV : and seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and thou hast a desire unto her, and wouldest take her to thee to wife;
ESV : and you see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you desire to take her to be your wife,
ERVEN : You might see a beautiful woman among the captives who you want to be your wife.

BNV : তখন তাকে তোমার বাড়ীতে নিয়ে আসবে| সে অবশ্যই তার মাথা কামাবে এবং নখ কাটবে|
KJV : Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails;
YLT : then thou hast brought her in unto the midst of thy household, and she hath shaved her head, and prepared her nails,
RV : then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails;
RSV : then you shall bring her home to your house, and she shall shave her head and pare her nails.
ASV : then thou shalt bring her home to thy house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails;

ERVEN : You must then bring her into your house where she will shave her head and cut her nails.

BNV : সে য়ে জামাকাপড়গুলি পরে আছে যার থেকে বোঝা যায় য়ে সে যুদ্ধে বন্দীনী ছিল, সেগুলি সে অবশ্যই খুলে ফেলবে| সে অবশ্যই পুরো এক মাস তোমার বাড়ীতে থাকবে এবং বাবা মাকে হারানোর জন্য বিলাপ করবে| এরপর তুমি তার কাছে য়েতে পার এবং তার স্বামী হতে পার| সে তোমার স্ত্রী হবে|
KJV : And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife.
YLT : and turned aside the raiment of her captivity from off her, and hath dwelt in thy house, and bewailed her father and her mother a month of days, and afterwards thou dost go in unto her and hast married her, and she hath been to thee for a wife:
RV : and she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife.
RSV : And she shall put off her captive's garb, and shall remain in your house and bewail her father and her mother a full month; after that you may go in to her, and be her husband, and she shall be your wife.
ASV : and she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thy house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife.
ESV : And she shall take off the clothes in which she was captured and shall remain in your house and lament her father and her mother a full month. After that you may go in to her and be her husband, and she shall be your wife.
ERVEN : She must change her clothes and take off the clothes she was wearing when she was captured in war. She will stay in your house and be sad about losing her father and her mother for a full month. After that you may go to her to be her husband, and she will be your wife.

BNV : যদি তুমি তার সঙ্গে সুখী না হও, তাহলে তুমি তাকে ত্যাগ করবে এবং তাকে স্বাধীনভাবে চলে য়েতে দেবে| তুমি তাকে বিক্রি করতে পারবে না| তুমি কখনই তার সঙ্গে ক্রীতদাসের মতো আচরণ করবে না কারণ তার সঙ্গে তোমার য়ৌন সম্পর্ক ছিল|
KJV : And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her.
YLT : `And it hath been -- if thou hast not delighted in her, that thou hast sent her away at her desire, and thou dost not at all sell her for money; thou dost not tyrannize over her, because that thou hast humbled her.
RV : And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not deal with her as a slave, because thou hast humbled her.
RSV : Then, if you have no delight in her, you shall let her go where she will; but you shall not sell her for money, you shall not treat her as a slave, since you have humiliated her.
ASV : And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not deal with her as a slave, because thou hast humbled her.
ESV : But if you no longer delight in her, you shall let her go where she wants. But you shall not sell her for money, nor shall you treat her as a slave, since you have humiliated her.
ERVEN : If you are not pleased with her and choose to divorce her, set her free. You cannot sell her. You had sexual relations with her, so you must not treat her like a slave.

BNV : “কোন ব্যক্তির দু’জন স্ত্রী থাকতে পারে এবং সে একজন স্ত্রীকে আরেকজনের থেকে বেশী ভালোবাসতে পারে| কিন্তু যদি দু’জন স্ত্রীই তার জন্য সন্তান প্রসব করে এবং প্রথম সন্তানটি সে য়ে স্ত্রীকে ভালোবাসে না তার হয়,
KJV : If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, [both] the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:
YLT : `When a man hath two wives, the one loved and the other hated, and they have borne to him sons (the loved one and the hated one), and the first-born son hath been to the hated one;
RV : If a man have two wives, the one beloved, and the other hated, and they have borne him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated;
RSV : "If a man has two wives, the one loved and the other disliked, and they have borne him children, both the loved and the disliked, and if the first-born son is hers that is disliked,
ASV : If a man have two wives, the one beloved, and the other hated, and they have borne him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the first-born son be hers that was hated;
ESV : "If a man has two wives, the one loved and the other unloved, and both the loved and the unloved have borne him children, and if the firstborn son belongs to the unloved,
ERVEN : "A man might have two wives. He might love one wife more than the other. Both wives might have children for him, but the firstborn son might be from the wife he does not love.

BNV : তবে সেই ব্যক্তি তার সন্তানদের মধ্যে সম্পত্তির ভাগ করে দেবার সময় তার প্রথমজাত সন্তানের অংশ কখনোই সে য়ে স্ত্রীকে ভালোবাসে তার পুত্রকে দিতে পারবে না|
KJV : Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit [that] which he hath, [that] he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, [which is indeed] the firstborn:
YLT : then it hath been, in the day of his causing his sons to inherit that which he hath, he is not able to declare first-born the son of the loved one, in the face of the son of the hated one -- the first-born.
RV : then it shall be, in the day that he causeth his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved the firstborn before the son of the hated, which is the firstborn:
RSV : then on the day when he assigns his possessions as an inheritance to his sons, he may not treat the son of the loved as the first-born in preference to the son of the disliked, who is the first-born,
ASV : then it shall be, in the day that he causeth his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved the first-born before the son of the hated, who is the first-born:
ESV : then on the day when he assigns his possessions as an inheritance to his sons, he may not treat the son of the loved as the firstborn in preference to the son of the unloved, who is the firstborn,
ERVEN : When the man divides his property among his children, he cannot give the rights of the firstborn to the son of his favorite wife.

BNV : সেই ব্যক্তি য়ে স্ত্রীকে ভালোবাসে না তার থেকে জাত তার প্রথম পুত্রের সমস্ত অধিকারগুলি তাকে মেনে নিতে হবে এবং সে তার প্রথম পুত্রকে অবশ্যই তার সম্পত্তির দুই অংশ দেবে, কারণ সেই সন্তান তার প্রথম সন্তান| প্রথমজাত সন্তান হিসাবে সমস্ত অধিকার তার আছে|
KJV : But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated [for] the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he [is] the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn [is] his.
YLT : But the first-born, son of the hated one, he doth acknowledge, to give to him a double portion of all that is found with him, for he [is] the beginning of his strength; to him [is] the right of the first-born.
RV : but he shall acknowledge the firstborn, the son of the hated, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.
RSV : but he shall acknowledge the first-born, the son of the disliked, by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the first issue of his strength; the right of the first-born is his.
ASV : but he shall acknowledge the first-born, the son of the hated, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath; for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the first-born is his.
ESV : but he shall acknowledge the firstborn, the son of the unloved, by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the firstfruits of his strength. The right of the firstborn is his.
ERVEN : The man must accept the firstborn son from the wife he does not love. The man must give that son a double share of everything he owns because that son is his first child. The right of the firstborn belongs to that son.

BNV : “কোন ব্যক্তির এমন এক পুত্র থাকতে পারে য়ে জেদী ও বিরোধী এবং তার পিতামাতাকে মানে না| তারা সেই পুত্রকে শাস্তি দেয় কিন্তু সে তবুও তাদের কথা শুনতে অস্বীকার করে|
KJV : If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and [that,] when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:
YLT : `When a man hath a son apostatizing and rebellious -- he is not hearkening to the voice of his father, and to the voice of his mother, and they have chastised him, and he doth not hearken unto them --
RV : If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and though they chasten him, will not hearken unto them:
RSV : "If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son, who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they chastise him, will not give heed to them,
ASV : If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, that will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and, though they chasten him, will not hearken unto them;
ESV : "If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they discipline him, will not listen to them,
ERVEN : "A man might have a son who is stubborn and refuses to obey. This son does not obey his father or mother. They punish the son, but he still refuses to listen to them.

BNV : তার পিতা এবং মাতা তখন তাকে শহরের সভাস্থলে শহরের নেতাদের কাছে নিয়ে আসবে|
KJV : Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
YLT : then laid hold on him have his father and his mother, and they have brought him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place,
RV : then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
RSV : then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gate of the place where he lives,
ASV : then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
ESV : then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gate of the place where he lives,
ERVEN : His father and mother must then take him to the leaders of the town at the town meeting place.

BNV : তারা শহরের নেতাদের বলবে: ‘আমাদের পুত্র অবাধ্য এবং কোন কিছু মেনে চলতে অস্বীকার করে| আমরা তাকে যা করতে বলি তার কোনও কিছুই সে করে না| সে মদ্যপাযী এবং পেটুক|’
KJV : And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son [is] stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; [he is] a glutton, and a drunkard.
YLT : and have said unto the elders of his city, Our son -- this one -- is apostatizing and rebellious; he is not hearkening to our voice -- a glutton and drunkard;
