তারপর যাজক ঐ স্ত্রীলোককে প্রভুর সামনে দাঁড় করাবে| এর পর যাজক সেই স্ত্রীর চুল আলগা করে দেবে এবং তার হাতে সেই নৈবেদ্য রাখবে| এই নৈবেদ্যটি সেই য়বের মযদা যা তার স্বামী ঈর্ষান্বিত হয়েছিল বলে এনেছিল| এই একই সমযে যাজকের হাতে সেই তিক্ত জল থাকবে যা অভিশাপ নিয়ে আসে|

And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman’s head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which [is] the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:

He will force the woman to stand before the Lord. Then he will loosen her hair and put the grain offering in her hand. This is the barley flour that her husband gave because he was jealous. At the same time, he will hold the clay jar of special water. This is the special water that can bring trouble to the woman.
