ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಆತನಿಗೆ-- ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಾಯಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವ ದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು. ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
