ଏଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, "ମୁଁ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ରକ୍ତପାତ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବି ଓ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନୁଧାବନ କରିବ। ଯେ ହତେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁକୁ ଘୃଣା କରି ନାହଁ, ତେଣୁ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପେଛ ପେଛ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବ।

Therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
