ಆಗ ದೇವದೂತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ಈ ಸುರುಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಪವು ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಸುರುಳಿಯ ಒಂದು ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕದಿಯುವ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಶಾಪ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಅದರ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿಯೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸದೆ ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಶಾಪ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
