ಉಗ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ತರನ್ನು ಆ ದಿನ ಆರಿಸಿದರು. ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಥಮಫಲಗಳನ್ನು, ಪೈರಿನ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ಒಂದಂಶವನ್ನು ತಂದರು. ಉಗ್ರಾಣದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ತರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋಣೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಶೇಖರಿಸಿಟ್ಟರು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಜನರು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು; ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಉಗ್ರಾಣದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು.
