బలిపీఠాలు కట్టడం ఎలా అనేది యెహోవా సేవకుడు మోషే ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలకు తెలియ జేస్తాడు. కనుక మెషే ధర్మశాస్త్ర గ్రంథంలో వివరించబడిన ప్రకారం యెహోషువ బలిపీఠాన్ని నిర్మించాడు. చెక్కబడని రాళ్లతో బలిపీఠం కట్టబడింది. ఆ రాళ్లమీద ఎన్నడూ ఏ పనిముట్టూ ప్రయోగించబడలేదు. ఆ బలిపీఠం మీద వారు యెహోవాకు దహనబలి అర్పణలు అర్పించారు సమాధాన బలులు కూడా వారు అర్పించారు.

ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರೇಲರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಆ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವ ಉಪಕರಣವನ್ನೂ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಆ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗ ಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.

મૂસાએ તેના નિયમશાસ્ત્રમાં જણાવ્યાં પ્રમાંણે બધા નિયમો પાળવામાં આવ્યા હતા. જે પથ્થરો વાપરવામાં આવેલા તે કપાયેલા ન હતા. લોખંડથી બનાવેલા કોઈ પણ ઓજારો તેની ઉપર વપરાયા ન હતા. આ પથ્થરને વાપરીને વેદી બનાવ્યા પછી, તેઓએ તેના ઉપર દેવને દહનાર્પણો અર્પિત કર્યા. તેઓએ શાંત્યર્પણો પણ અર્પણ કર્યા.
