ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಪಾಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಯಾಜಕತ್ವವೇ ಅವರ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಗಾದನೂ ರೂಬೇನನೂ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಅರ್ಧ ಗೋತ್ರವೂ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆ ಮೂಡಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದನು.

ಲೇವಿಯ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲು ದೊರೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಜಕರಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವುದೇ ಅವರ ಪಾಲು. ಗಾದ್ಯರು, ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲದ ಅರ್ಧಜನರು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಲಾದ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಜೋರ್ಡನ್ ನದಿಯ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ” ಎಂದನು.
