ನಂತರ ದಾವೀದನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದನು. ದಾವೀದನು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿನ ರೋಗರುಜಿನಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು.
