ஆனால் ஆசகேலோ அப்னேரை விடாமல் துரத்தினான். எனவே அப்னேர் ஈட்டியின் மறுமுனையால் ஆசகேலின் வயிற்றில் குத்தினான். ஈட்டி ஆசகேலின் வயிற்றினுள் புகுந்து முதுகில் வெளி வந்தது. ஆசகேல் அங்கேயே விழுந்து மரித்தான். ஆசகேலின் உடல் நிலத்தில் கிடந்தது. ஓடிவந்த மனிதர்கள் அவனருகே நின்றுவிட்டனர்.

కాని అశాహేలు అబ్నేరును తరమటం మానలేదు. దానితో అబ్నేరు తన ఈటె ఐనుక భాగంతో అశాహేలు పొట్టలో పాడినాడు ఈటె మడం ఎంత తీవ్రంగా దిగబడిందనగా అది పొట్టలో నుండి వీపు ద్వారా బయటికి వచ్చింది. అశాహేలు అక్కడికక్కడే మరణించాడు. అశాహేలు శవం నేలమీద పడివుంది. అతని మనుష్యులందరూ అక్కడికి వచ్చి ఆగారు. (అశాహేలును చూసేందుకు)

ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪದೆಹೋದದರಿಂದ ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ತನ್ನ ಬರ್ಜಿಯ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದ ಮೊನೆಯಿಂದ ಅವನ ಪಕ್ಕೆಯ ಐದನೇ ಎಲುಬಿನ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಹಾಯುವಂತೆ ತಿವಿದನು; ಅದು ಅವನ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂತು. ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಅದೇ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತನು. ಆಗ ಏನಾಯಿಯತಂದರೆ ಅಸಾಹೇಲನು ಬಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ತ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನಿಂತರು.

ಆದರೂ ಅಸಾಹೇಲನು ಅಬ್ನೇರನನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಹೋದನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ತನ್ನ ಬರ್ಜಿಯ ಹಿಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಅಸಾಹೇಲನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ತಿವಿದನು. ಆ ಬರ್ಜಿಯು ಅಸಾಹೇಲನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಚುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಬೆನ್ನಿನಿಂದ ಹಾಯ್ದು ಬಂದಿತು. ಅಸಾಹೇಲನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಸತ್ತುಬಿದ್ದನು. ಅಸಾಹೇಲನ ದೇಹವು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿತ್ತು. ಜನರು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿಂತರು.

છતાં અસાહેલે પાછા ફરવાનો ઇન્કાર કર્યો, એટલે આબ્નેરે ભાલાનો પાછલો છેડો તેના પેટમાં એટલા જોરથી માંર્યો કે તે શરીરમાં થઈને આરપાર નીકળ્યો.અસાહેલ જમીન પર ઢળી પડયો અને ત્યાં જ મૃત્યુ પામ્યો, અસાહેલ જયાં મરેલો પડયો હતો ત્યાં જે કોઈ આવતા તે બધા ઊભા રહી જતા.

तरीही असाएल ऐकेना. तेव्हा अबनेरने आपल्या भाल्याचे मागचे टोक असाएलच्या पोटात खुपसले. भाला सरळ त्याच्या पोटात घुसून पाठीतून निघाला. असाएलला तिथे तात्काळ मृत्यू आला.असाएलचा मृतदेह तिथेच जमिनीवर पडलेला होता. लोकांनी ते पाहिले आणि ते तिथेच थांबले.
