ಅರಸನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವಳು ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದಳು. ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಅವಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವಳು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ದಿನ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಆ ಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ಆ ಹೊಲದ ಹುಟ್ಟುವಳಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು.

ರಾಜನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಅವಳು ತನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ತನಗಿದ್ದ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದಳು. ಆಗ ರಾಜನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಲು ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕರೆದು, “ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಬೇಕಾದ ಆಸ್ತಿಯೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಆಕೆಗೆ ಕೊಡಿಸು. ಅವಳು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಂದಿನಿಂದ ಈವರೆಗಿನ ಆಕೆಯ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ਜਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਤੀਵੀਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਹਾਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਠਹਿਰਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਦੇਸ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਤਾਈਂ ਦੀ ਖੇਤ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਦੇਹ।।
