తర్వాత యెహూ రెండవ ఉత్తర ఆ నాయకులకు రాశాడు. “మీరు కనుక నన్ను సమర్థిస్తే నా మాట పాటిస్తే, ఇప్పుడు అహాబు కుమారుల తలలు నరికి వేయండి. రేపు ఈపాటికి వాటిని యెజ్రెయేలులో నా వద్దకు తీసుకురండి” అని యెహూ చెప్పాడు. అహాబుకి డెబ్భైమంది కుమారులు. వారు తమను పెంచిన నగర నాయకులతో ఉన్నారు.

ಆಗ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎರಡನೇ ಸಾರಿ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಬರೆದು--ನೀವು ನನ್ನವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳುವ ವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗಿರುವ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ನಾಳೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರಮುಖರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು.

ನಂತರ ಯೇಹು ಈ ನಾಯಕರಿಗೆ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಬರೆದನು. ಯೇಹುವು, “ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಕೊಡುವುದಾದರೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿರುವುದಾದರೆ ಅಹಾಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಹಾಕಿ. ನಾಳೆ ಇದೇ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನಿ. ಅಹಾಬನಿಗೆ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಲಕರಾದ ನಗರದ ನಾಯಕರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು.
