રાજાના અને તેના અમલદારોના પત્રો લઇને કાસદો સમગ્ર ઇસ્રાએલમાં અને યહૂદામાં પહોંચી ગયા. રાજાની આજ્ઞા પ્રમાણે કહ્યું કે,હે ઇસ્રાએલ પુત્રો, તમો ઇબ્રાહિમ, ઇસહાક અને ઇસ્રાએલના દેવ યહોવા પ્રત્યે પાછા વળો, જેથી આશ્શૂરના રાજાઓના પંજામાંથી તમારામાંના જે બચી ગયા છે, તેમના પ્રત્યે યહોવા પાછો વળે.
