ದಾವೀದನು ಆಲೀವ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರ ಬಂದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಫೀಬೋಶೆತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಚೀಬನು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿದನು. ಚೀಬನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತಡಿಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಎರಡು ಹೇಸರಕತ್ತೆಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಆ ಹೇಸರಕತ್ತೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇನ್ನೂರು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳು, ಒಂದುನೂರು ಗೊಂಚಲು ಒಣದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ, ಒಂದುನೂರು ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಒಂದು ಚೀಲ ಇದ್ದವು.
