ನಂತರ ಎಲೀಷನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತಾ, “ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ಅವನು ನೋಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ತರುಣನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದನು. ಆ ಸೇವಕನು ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿರುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಂತಿರುವ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ರಥಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದನು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲ ಎಲೀಷನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇದ್ದರು!

પછી એલિશાએ યહોવાને પ્રાર્થના કરી કે, “હે યહોવા, તેની આંખો ખોલી નાખો અને તેને જોવા દો.”યહોવાએ તેના ચાકરની આંખ ખોલી નાખી પછી ચાકરને એ જોઇને આશ્ચર્ય થયું કે નગરની આજુબાજુના પર્વતો અગ્નિ રથો અને ઘોડાઓથી ભરાઇ ગયા હતાં.
