తర్వాత భూమినుండి నీరు ప్రవహించే ఆ స్థలం వద్దకు ఎలీషా వెళ్లాడు. ఎలీషా ఆ ఉప్పును నీటిలోకి విసిరాడు. “నేను ఈ నీటిని బాగు చేయుచున్నానని, ఇప్పటినుండి ఈ నీరు మరణము కలిగించదు. పంటలు పండనట్లుగా చేయదు” అని యెహోవా చెప్పాడు.
