BNV : ঈশ্বরের কাছ থেকে একটি বার্তা| এ হল হদ্রক দেশ এবং তার রাজধানী দম্মেশকের বিরুদ্ধে প্রভুর বার্তা, “ইস্রায়েল পরিবারগোষ্ঠীরাই একমাত্র পরিবারগোষ্ঠী নয় যারা ঈশ্বর সম্বন্ধে সচেতন| প্রত্যেকেই সাহায্যের জন্য ঈশ্বরের দিকে তাকায|
KJV : The burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus [shall be] the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, [shall be] toward the LORD.
YLT : The burden of a word of Jehovah against the land of Hadrach, and Demmeseh -- his place of rest: (When to Jehovah [is] the eye of man, And of all the tribes of Israel.)
RV : The burden of the word of the LORD upon the land of Hadrach, and Damascus {cf15i shall be} its resting place: for the eye of man and of all the tribes of Israel is toward the LORD:
RSV : An Oracle The word of the LORD is against the land of Hadrach and will rest upon Damascus. For to the LORD belong the cities of Aram, even as all the tribes of Israel;
ASV : The burden of the word of Jehovah upon the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be its resting-place (for the eye of man and of all the tribes of Israel is toward Jehovah);
ESV : The burden of the word of the LORD is against the land of Hadrach and Damascus is its resting place. For the LORD has an eye on mankind and on all the tribes of Israel,
ERVEN : A message from God. This is the Lord's message against Hadrach's country and his capital city, Damascus. "The tribes of Israel are not the only people who know about God. Everyone looks to him for help.

KJV : And Hamath also shall border thereby; Tyrus, and Zidon, though it be very wise.
YLT : And also Hamath doth border thereon, Tyre and Zidon, for -- very wise!
RV : and Hamath also which bordereth thereon: Tyre and Zidon, because she is very wise.
RSV : Hamath also, which borders thereon, Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise.

ERVEN : And this message is against Hamath, which borders Hadrach's country. And this message is against Tyre and Sidon, even though those people have been so wise and skillful.

BNV : সোরকে একটি দুর্গের মত করে নির্মাণ করা হয়েছিল| সেখানকার লোকেরা এত রূপো সংগ্রহ করেছে য়ে তা ধূলোর মত অগণিত এবং সোনা ও মাটির মত সাধারণ হয়ে পড়েছে|
KJV : And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets.
YLT : And Tyre doth build a bulwark to herself, And doth heap silver as dust, And gold as mire of out-places.

ERVEN : Tyre is built like a fort. The people there have collected so much silver that it is like dust, and gold is as common as clay.

BNV : কিন্তু প্রভু আমাদের সদাপ্রভু তার সবটাই নিয়ে নেবেন| তিনি তার শক্তিশালী নৌবহর ধ্বংস করবেন এবং শহরটিকে আগুন দ্বারা ধ্বংস করবেন!
KJV : Behold, the Lord will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.
YLT : Lo, the Lord doth dispossess her, And He hath smitten in the sea her force, And she with fire is consumed.
RV : Behold, the Lord will dispossess her, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.

ERVEN : But the Lord God will take it all. He will destroy her powerful navy and that city will be destroyed by fire!

BNV : “অস্কিলোনের লোকেরা এইসব দেখে ভয় পাবে| ঘসার লোকেরা ভয়ে কাঁপবে| ইএোণর লোকেরা এইসব ঘটতে দেখে সমস্ত আশা হারিয়ে ফেলবে| ঘসায আর কোন রাজা থাকবে না| অস্কিলোনে কেউ বাস করবে না|
KJV : Ashkelon shall see [it,] and fear; Gaza also [shall see it,] and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.
YLT : See doth Ashkelon and fear, Also Gaza, and she is exceedingly pained, Also Ekron -- for her expectation dried up, And perished hath a king from Gaza, And Ashkelon doth not remain,
RV : Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also, and shall be sore pained; and Ekron, for her expectation shall be ashamed: and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.

ERVEN : "The people in Ashkelon will see this and they will be afraid. The people of Gaza will shake with fear, and the people of Ekron will lose all hope when they see this happen. There will be no king left in Gaza. No one will live in Ashkelon anymore.

BNV : অবৈধ সন্তানেরা অস্দোদের রাজা হয়ে বসবে| আমি পলেষ্টীয়দের দর্প চূর্ণ করব|
KJV : And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.
YLT : And dwelt hath a foreigner in Ashdod, And I have cut off the excellency of the Philistines.

BNV : তাদের মুখ আর দাঁত থেকে আমি য়ে মাংসতে তখনও রক্ত লেগেছিল এবং অন্যান্য নিষিদ্ধ খাবার সরিয়ে ফেলব| অবশিষ্ট পলেষ্টীয়রা আমার লোকেদের একটি অংশ বলে গণ্য হবে| তারা যিহূদাতে আরেকটি পরিবারগোষ্ঠী হবে| যিবূষীয়রা য়েমন করেছিল, তেমনিভাবে ইএোণর লোকেরা আমার লোকেদের একটি অংশ হবে|
KJV : And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, [shall be] for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.
YLT : And turned aside his blood from his mouth, His abominations from between his teeth, And he hath remained, even he, to our God, And he hath been as a leader in Judah, And Ekron as a Jebusite.

ERVEN : They will no longer eat meat with the blood still in it or any other forbidden food. Any Philistine left alive will become a part of my people; they will be just one more tribe in Judah. The people of Ekron will become a part of my people, as the Jebusites did.

BNV : আমার মন্দিরকে রক্ষা করবার জন্য আমি সৈন্যদের বিরুদ্ধে মন্দিরের চারিদিকে শিবির স্থাপন করব| আমি শএু সেনাকে এর ওপর দিয়ে অতিরম করতে দেব না| আমি এখন আমার নিজের চোখ দিয়ে লক্ষ্য রাখছি|”
KJV : And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
YLT : And I have pitched for My house a camp, Because of the passer through, and of the returner, And pass not through against them again doth an exactor, For, now, I have seen with My eyes.
RV : And I will encamp about mine house against the army, that none pass through or return: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
RSV : Then I will encamp at my house as a guard, so that none shall march to and fro; no oppressor shall again overrun them, for now I see with my own eyes.

BNV : সিয়োন, উল্লাস কর! জেরুশালেমের লোকেরা, আনন্দে চিত্কার কর! দেখ, তোমাদের রাজা তোমাদের কাছে আসছেন! তিনিই সেই ধার্মিক রাজা, তিনিই সেই বিজয়ী রাজা| কিন্তু তিনি নম্র| তিনি একটি খচচরের পিঠে চড়ে আসছেন| একটি ভারবাহী গাধার বাচচার ওপর চড়ে আসছেন|
KJV : Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he [is] just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
YLT : Rejoice exceedingly, O daughter of Zion, Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem, Lo, thy King doth come to thee, Righteous -- and saved is He, Afflicted -- and riding on an ass, And on a colt -- a son of she-asses.

ERVEN : People of Zion, rejoice! People of Jerusalem, shout with joy! Look, your king is coming to you! He is the good king who won the victory, but he is humble. He is riding on a donkey, on a young donkey born from a work animal.

BNV : রাজা বলেন, “আমি ইফ্রয়িমের রথগুলি এবং জেরুশালেমের অশ্বগুলিকেও সরিয়ে ফেলব| আমি যুদ্ধে ব্যবহার করবার ধনু ভেঙ্গে ফেলব|” রাজা জাতিগুলির কাছে শান্তির সংবাদ আনবেন| তিনি সাগর থেকে সাগরে রাজত্ব করবেন| ফরাত্‌ নদী থেকে পৃথিবীর দূরতম প্রান্ত পর্য়ন্ত|
KJV : And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion [shall be] from sea [even] to sea, and from river [even] to the ends of the earth.
YLT : And I have cut off the chariot from Ephraim, And the horse from Jerusalem, Yea, cut off hath been the bow of battle, And he hath spoken peace to nations, And his rule [is] from sea unto sea, And from the river unto the ends of earth.

ERVEN : The king says, "I destroyed the chariots in Ephraim and the horse soldiers in Jerusalem. I destroyed the bows used in war." That king will bring news of peace to the nations. He will rule from sea to sea, from the Euphrates River to all the faraway places on earth.

BNV : জেরুশালেম, তোমার চুক্তি রক্তের মধ্যে সীলমোহর করা হয়েছিল| তাই আমি তোমার বন্দীদের শূন্য আধার থেকে রক্ষা করেছি|
KJV : As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein [is] no water.
YLT : Also thou -- by the blood of thy covenant, I have sent thy prisoners out of the pit, There is no water in it.
RV : As for thee also, because of the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.
RSV : As for you also, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will set your captives free from the waterless pit.

ERVEN : Jerusalem, we used blood to seal your agreement, so I am setting your people free from that empty hole in the ground.

BNV : বন্দীরা, তোমাদের মাতৃভূমিতে ফিরে যাও! এখন তোমাদের আশার কিছু বাকী রয়েছে| আমি আবার এই দ্বিতীয়বার বলছি আমি তোমাদের কাছে ফিরে আসছি!
KJV : Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare [that] I will render double unto thee;
YLT : Turn back to a fenced place, Ye prisoners of the hope, Even to-day a second announcer I restore to thee.
RV : Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even today do I declare that I will render double unto thee.

KJV : When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.
YLT : For I have trodden for Me Judah, A bow I have filled [with] Ephraim, And I have stirred up thy sons, O Zion, Against thy sons, O Javan, And I have set thee as the sword of a hero.
RV : For I have bent Judah for me, I have filled the bow with Ephraim; and I will stir up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and will make thee as the sword of a mighty man.
RSV : For I have bent Judah as my bow; I have made Ephraim its arrow. I will brandish your sons, O Zion, over your sons, O Greece, and wield you like a warrior's sword.
ASV : For I have bent Judah for me, I have filled the bow with Ephraim; and I will stir up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and will make thee as the sword of a mighty man.
ESV : For I have bent Judah as my bow; I have made Ephraim its arrow. I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and wield you like a warrior's sword.
ERVEN : Judah, I will use you like a bow. Ephraim, I will use you like arrows. Israel, I will use you like a sword to fight against the men of Greece.

BNV : প্রভু তাদের সামনে দর্শন দেবেন এবং তাঁর তীরগুলি বিদ্য়ুতের মত ছুঁড়বেন| প্রভু আমার সদাপ্রভু শিঙা বাজাবেন আর সেনারা মরুভূমির ধূলোর ঝড়ের মত সামনে ধেযে যাবে|
KJV : And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the LORD GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
YLT : And Jehovah doth appear for them, And gone forth as lightning hath His arrow, And the Lord Jehovah with a trumpet bloweth, And He hath gone with whirlwinds of the south.
RV : And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
RSV : Then the LORD will appear over them, and his arrow go forth like lightning; the Lord GOD will sound the trumpet, and march forth in the whirlwinds of the south.

ERVEN : The Lord will appear to them, and he will shoot his arrows like lightning. The Lord God will blow the trumpet, and the army will rush forward like a desert dust storm.

BNV : সর্বশক্তিমান প্রভু তাদের প্রতিরক্ষা করবেন| সেনারা পাথর দিয়ে শএুদের পরাজিত করবে| তারা তাদের শএুদের রক্ত দ্রাক্ষারসের মত প্রবাহিত করিযে তাদের হত্যা করবে| এটা হবে সেই রক্তের মত যা বেদীর কোণগুলোতে ছুঁড়ে ফেলা হয়!
KJV : The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, [and] make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, [and] as the corners of the altar.
YLT : Jehovah of Hosts doth cover them over, And they consumed, and subdued sling-stones, Yea, they have drunk, They have made a noise as wine, And they have been full as a bowl, As corners of an altar.
RV : The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and shall tread down the sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine: and they shall be filled like bowls, like the corners of the altar.
RSV : The LORD of hosts will protect them, and they shall devour and tread down the slingers; and they shall drink their blood like wine, and be full like a bowl, drenched like the corners of the altar.
ASV : Jehovah of hosts will defend them; and they shall devour, and shall tread down the sling-stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, like the corners of the altar.
ESV : The LORD of hosts will protect them, and they shall devour, and tread down the sling stones, and they shall drink and roar as if drunk with wine, and be full like a bowl, drenched like the corners of the altar.
ERVEN : The Lord All-Powerful will protect them. The soldiers will use rocks and slings to defeat the enemy. They will spill the blood of their enemies. It will flow like wine. It will be like the blood that is thrown on the corners of the altar!

BNV : সেই সময়ে, য়েমন একজন মেষপালক তার মেষদের রক্ষা করে তেমনিভাবে প্রভু তাঁর লোকেদের রক্ষা করবেন| তারা তাঁর কাছে অত্যন্ত মূল্যবান হবে| তাঁর হাতে তারা হবে চাকচিক্যময় গযনার মত|
KJV : And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they [shall be as] the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.
YLT : And saved them hath Jehovah their God In that day, as a flock of His people, For stones of a crown are displaying themselves over His ground.
RV : And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for {cf15i they shall be as} the stones of a crown, lifted on high over his land.

ERVEN : At that time the Lord their God will save his people like a shepherd saves his sheep. They will be very precious to him. They will be like sparkling jewels in his land.

BNV : সবকিছু মঙ্গলময় ও সুন্দর হবে| শস্য এবং দ্রাক্ষা হবে প্রচুর, এবং সমস্ত যুবক-যুবতী সেগুলো খেয়ে এবং নতুন দ্রাক্ষারস পান করে শক্তিশালী হয়ে উঠবে!
KJV : For how great [is] his goodness, and how great [is] his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.
YLT : For what His goodness! and what His beauty! Corn the young men, And new wine the virgins -- make fruitful!

ERVEN : Everything will be good and beautiful! There will be a wonderful crop, but it will not be just the food and wine. It will be all the young men and women!
