MRV : मुला, मी ज्या गोष्टी सांगतो त्याचा स्वीकार कर. माझ्या आज्ञा लक्षात ठेव.
KJV : My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
YLT : My son, if thou dost accept my sayings, And my commands dost lay up with thee,
RV : My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and lay up my commandments with thee;
RSV : My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you,
ASV : My son, if thou wilt receive my words, And lay up my commandments with thee;
ESV : My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you,
ERVEN : My son, pay attention to what I say. Remember my commands.

MRV : ज्ञानाचे ऐक. आणि ते समजून घेण्यासाठी प्रयत्नांची पराकाष्ठा कर.
KJV : So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, [and] apply thine heart to understanding;
YLT : To cause thine ear to attend to wisdom, Thou inclinest thy heart to understanding,

MRV : जर तू या गोष्टी केल्यास तर तू परमेश्वराला मान द्यायला शिकशील. तू खरोखरच देवाविषयी शिकशील.

KJV : He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: [he is] a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

MRV : जे लोक इतरांशी न्यायाने वागतात त्यांचे तो रक्षण करतो. त्याच्या पवित्र लोकांचे तो रक्षण करतो.
KJV : He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

MRV : म्हणून परमेश्वर तुला त्याचे ज्ञान देईल. नंतर तुला चांगल्या न्यायाच्या आणि योग्य गोष्टी कळतील.

MRV : ज्ञान आणि समज तुला दुष्ट लोकांसारखे चुकीचे जीवन जगण्यापासून परावृत्त करतील. ते लोक बोलतानाही दुष्टपणा करतात.
KJV : To deliver thee from the way of the evil [man,] from the man that speaketh froward things;
YLT : To deliver thee from an evil way, From any speaking froward things,

MRV : ज्ञान तुला अनोळखी स्त्रीपासून वाचवील. दुसऱ्या देशातली एखादी स्त्री गोड शब्दांनी तुला तिच्याबरोबर पाप करायला प्रवृत्त करेल. त्या स्त्रीने तरुणपणी लग्न केले. पण तिने नवऱ्याला सोडले. तिने देवासमोर तिचे लग्नाचे वचन पाळले नाही. पण ज्ञान तुला तिला ‘नाही’ म्हणायला मदत करील.
KJV : To deliver thee from the strange woman, [even] from the stranger [which] flattereth with her words;
YLT : To deliver thee from the strange woman, From the stranger who hath made smooth her sayings,
RV : To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
RSV : You will be saved from the loose woman, from the adventuress with her smooth words,
ASV : To deliver thee from the strange woman, Even from the foreigner that flattereth with her words;
ESV : So you will be delivered from the forbidden woman, from the adulteress with her smooth words,
ERVEN : Wisdom will save you from that other woman, another man's wife, who tempts you with sweet words.

KJV : Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.
YLT : Who is forsaking the guide of her youth, And the covenant of her God hath forgotten.
RV : Which forsaketh the friend of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God:
RSV : who forsakes the companion of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God;

ERVEN : She married when she was young, but then she left her husband. She forgot the marriage vows she made before God.

MRV : तिच्या बरोबर घरात जाणे म्हणजे विनाशाकडे नेणारे पहिले पाऊल उचलणे. जर तू तिच्या मागे गेलास तर ती तुला तुझ्या कबरेकडे घेऊन जाईल.
KJV : For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
YLT : For her house hath inclined unto death, And unto Rephaim her paths.
RV : For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead:
RSV : for her house sinks down to death, and her paths to the shades;

ERVEN : Going into her house leads to death. She will lead you to the grave.
