BNV : ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা মিশর ছেড়ে চলে আসার পরে দ্বিতীয় বছরের প্রথম মাসে প্রভু সীনয় মরুভূমিতে মোশির সাথে এই কথা বললেন,
KJV : And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

ERVEN : The Lord spoke to Moses in the Sinai desert. This was during the first month of the second year after the Israelites came out of Egypt. He said to Moses,

BNV : “ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের ঠিক সমযে নিস্তারপর্বের পবিত্র দিন উদয়াপন করতে বলে দাও|
KJV : Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season.
YLT : `Also, the sons of Israel prepare the passover in its appointed season;
RV : Moreover let the children of Israel keep the passover in its appointed season.
RSV : "Let the people of Israel keep the passover at its appointed time.
ASV : Moreover let the children of Israel keep the passover in its appointed season.
ESV : "Let the people of Israel keep the Passover at its appointed time.
ERVEN : "Tell the Israelites to celebrate Passover at the chosen time.

BNV : তারা অবশ্যই এই মাসের 14 তারিখ, গোধুলি বেলায উদ্বারের পবিত্র দিনের খাদ্য গ্রহণ করবে| তারা অবশ্যই নির্ধারিত সমযে এই কাজ করবে এবং নিস্তারপর্বের সকল নিয়ম তারা অবশ্যই পালন করবে|”
KJV : In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.
YLT : in the fourteenth day of this month between the evenings ye prepare it in its appointed season; according to all its statutes, and according to all its ordinances ye prepare it.`
RV : In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in its appointed season: according to all the statutes of it, and according to all the ordinances thereof, shall ye keep it.

ERVEN : They must eat the Passover meal just before dark on the 14 day of this month. They must do this at the chosen time, and they must follow all the rules about Passover."

BNV : সুতরাং মোশি ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের নিস্তারপর্ব উদয়াপন করতে বলেছিল|
KJV : And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover.

BNV : ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা প্রথম মাসের 14 তারিখে গোধুলি বেলায সীনয় মরুভূমিতে নিস্তারপর্ব পালন করেছিল| প্রভু মোশিকে যেভাবে আদেশ করেছিলেন ইস্রায়েলীয়রা ঠিক সেভাবেই কাজ করেছিল|
KJV : And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.
YLT : and they prepare the passover in the first [month], on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses, so have the sons of Israel done.

ERVEN : The people did this in the Sinai desert just before dark on the 14 day of the first month. The Israelites did everything just as the Lord commanded Moses.

BNV : কিন্তু কিছু লোক ঐ দিনটিকে নিস্তারপর্বের পবিত্র দিন হিসেবে উদয়াপন করতে পারে নি| তারা অশুচি ছিল, কারণ তারা একটা মৃতদেহ স্পর্শ করেছিল| সুতরাং তারা ঐ দিনে মোশি এবং হারোণের কাছে গেল|
KJV : And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:

ERVEN : But some of the people could not celebrate Passover that day. They were unclean because they had touched a dead body. So they went to Moses and Aaron that day

BNV : তারা মোশিকে বলল, “আমরা এক ব্যক্তির মৃতদেহ স্পর্শ করে অশুচি হয়েছি| নির্ধারিত সমযে প্রভুকে উপহার দিতে আমাদের বাধা দেওয়া হচ্ছে| সুতরাং আমরা ইস্রায়েলের অন্যান্য লোকদের সঙ্গে নিস্তারপর্ব উদয়াপন করতে পারছি না| আমরা কি করব?”
KJV : And those men said unto him, We [are] defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?
YLT : and those men say unto him, `We are defiled by the body of a man; why are we withheld so as not to bring near the offering of Jehovah in its appointed season, in the midst of the sons of Israel?`
RV : and those men said unto him, We are unclean by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer the oblation of the LORD in its appointed season among the children of Israel?
RSV : and those men said to him, "We are unclean through touching the dead body of a man; why are we kept from offering the LORD's offering at its appointed time among the people of Israel?"
ASV : and those men said unto him, We are unclean by reason of the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer the oblation of Jehovah in its appointed season among the children of Israel?
ESV : And those men said to him, "We are unclean through touching a dead body. Why are we kept from bringing the LORD's offering at its appointed time among the people of Israel?"
ERVEN : and said to Moses, "We touched a dead body and became unclean. But why must we be kept from offering our gifts to the Lord at the chosen time with the rest of the Israelites?"

BNV : মোশি তাদের বলল, “আমি প্রভুকে জিজ্ঞেস করবো তিনি এ ব্যাপারে কি বলেন|”
KJV : And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.
YLT : And Moses saith unto them, `Stand ye, and I hear what Jehovah hath commanded concerning you.`

BNV : “তুমি এই কথাগুলো ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের বলো: এই নিয়ম তোমাদের এবং তোমাদের উত্তরপুরুষদের জন্যই| কোনো একজনের পক্ষে নির্ধারিত সমযে নিস্তারপর্ব উদয়াপন করা সম্ভব নাও হতে পারে| হয়তো সেই ব্যক্তি মৃতদেহ স্পর্শ করে অশুচি হয়েছিল অথবা দূর দেশে যাত্রা করেছিল|
KJV : Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or [be] in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.
YLT : `Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, Though any man is unclean by a body or in a distant journey (of you or of your generations), yet he hath prepared a passover to Jehovah;
RV : Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your generations shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD:
RSV : "Say to the people of Israel, If any man of you or of your descendants is unclean through touching a dead body, or is afar off on a journey, he shall still keep the passover to the LORD.
ASV : Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your generations shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be on a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto Jehovah.
ESV : "Speak to the people of Israel, saying, If any one of you or of your descendants is unclean through touching a dead body, or is on a long journey, he shall still keep the Passover to the LORD.
ERVEN : "Tell the Israelites this: This rule will be for you and your descendants. Maybe someone is not able to celebrate Passover at the right time. Maybe they are unclean because they touched a dead body. Or maybe they were away on a trip.

BNV : তবু সেই ব্যক্তি অন্য কোনোও সমযে নিস্তারপর্ব উদয়াপন করতে পারবে| দ্বিতীয় মাসের 14 তারিখে গোধুলি বেলায অবশ্যই সে নিস্তারপর্ব উদয়াপন করবে| ঐ সমযে তারা অবশ্যই নিস্তারপর্বের মেষ, খামির ছাড়া তৈরী রুটি এবং কিছু তেতো শাকপাতা দিয়ে খাবে|
KJV : The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, [and] eat it with unleavened bread and bitter [herbs. ]
YLT : in the second month, on the fourteenth day, between the evenings they prepare it; with unleavened and bitter things they eat it;
RV : in the second month on the fourteenth day at even they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs:

ERVEN : They will still be able to celebrate Passover at another time. They must celebrate Passover just before dark on the 14 day of the second month. At that time they must eat the lamb, the bread made without yeast, and the bitter herbs.

BNV : তারা পরের দিন সকাল পর্য়ন্ত ঐ খাবারের কোনো কিছুই অবশিষ্ট রাখবে না এবং অবশ্যই সেই মেষের কোনো হাড় ভগ্ন করবে না| সে অবশ্যই নিস্তারপর্বের সব নিয়ম অনুসরণ করবে;
KJV : They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.
YLT : they do not leave of till morning; and a bone they do not break in it: according to all the statute of the passover they prepare it.

ERVEN : They must not leave any of that food until the next morning. And they must not break any of the bones of the lamb. They must follow all the rules about Passover.

BNV : কিন্তু যে লোকটি শুচি এবং বেড়াতে যায় নি সে যদি নির্দিষ্ট সময় নিস্তারপর্ব উদয়াপন না করে, তাহলে তাকে অবশ্যই তার লোকদের কাছ থেকে আলাদা করে দেওয়া হবে| সে দোষী এবং শাস্তির য়োগ্য় কারণ সে নির্দিষ্ট সময় প্রভুকে তার উপহার দেয নি|
KJV : But the man that [is] clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
YLT : `And the man who is clean, and hath not been on a journey, and hath ceased to prepare the passover, even that person hath been cut off from his people; because the offering of Jehovah he hath not brought near, in its appointed season, that man doth bear his sin.

ESV : But if anyone who is clean and is not on a journey fails to keep the Passover, that person shall be cut off from his people because he did not bring the LORD's offering at its appointed time; that man shall bear his sin.
ERVEN : But anyone who is able must celebrate Passover at the right time. If they are clean and they are not away on a trip, there is no excuse for them not to do it. If they don't celebrate Passover at the right time, they must be separated from their people. They are guilty and must be punished, because they did not give the Lord his gift at the right time.

BNV : “তোমাদের সঙ্গে আছে এমন কোনো বিদেশী যদি প্রভুর নিস্তারপর্ব উদ্য়াপনের জন্য ইচ্ছুক হয় তাহলে সে অবশ্যই তা করবে কিন্তু সে অবশ্যই নিস্তারপর্বের সকল বিধি অনুসরণ করবে| একই নিয়ম সকলের জন্য প্রয়োজ্য|”
KJV : And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
YLT : `And when a sojourner sojourneth with you, then he hath prepared a passover to Jehovah, according to the statute of the passover, and according to its ordinance, so he doth; one statute is to you, even to a sojourner, and to a native of the land.`

ERVEN : "A foreigner living among you might want to share in the Lord's Passover with you. This is allowed, but that person must follow all the rules about Passover. The same rules are for everyone."

BNV : যেদিন সমাগম তাঁবু অর্থাত্‌ চুক্তির সেই তাঁবু স্থাপিত হল, সেদিন সন্ধ্যায ঈশ্বরের মেঘ সেটিকে আবৃত করল এবং সকাল পর্য়ন্ত পবিত্র তাঁবুর উপরের মেঘকে ঠিক আগুনের মতো দেখাচ্ছিল|
KJV : And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, [namely,] the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning.
YLT : And in the day of the raising up of the tabernacle hath the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the tent of the testimony; and in the evening there is on the tabernacle as an appearance of fire till morning;
RV : And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the tent of the testimony: and at even it was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until morning.
RSV : On the day that the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the testimony; and at evening it was over the tabernacle like the appearance of fire until morning.

ERVEN : On the day the Holy Tent, the Tent of the Agreement, was set up, the Lord's cloud covered it. At night the cloud over the Holy Tent looked like fire.

BNV : মেঘটি সমস্তক্ষণ পবিত্র তাঁবু আবৃত করত এবং রাত্রে সেটাকে আগুনের মতো দেখাতো|
KJV : So it was alway: the cloud covered it [by day,] and the appearance of fire by night.
YLT : so it is continually; the cloud covereth it, also the appearance of fire by night.

BNV : মেঘটি পবিত্র তাঁবুর ওপর থেকে স্থান পরিবর্তন করলে, ইস্রায়েলীয়রা সেটিকে অনুসরণ করল| যখন মেঘটি থামত তখন ইস্রায়েলীয়রা সেখানেই শিবির স্থাপন করত|
KJV : And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.
YLT : And according to the going up of the cloud from off the tent and afterwards do the sons of Israel journey; and in the place where the cloud doth tabernacle, there do the sons of Israel encamp;
RV : And whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel encamped.

ERVEN : When the cloud moved from its place over the Holy Tent, the Israelites followed it. When the cloud stopped, that is the place where the Israelites camped.

BNV : কখন যাত্রা শুরু করতে হবে, কখন থামতে হবে এবং কখন শিবির স্থাপন করতে হবে সে ব্যাপারে ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের প্রভু এই রাস্তাই দেখিয়েছিলেন| যতক্ষণ পর্য়ন্ত পবিত্র তাঁবুর উপরে মেঘ থাকত, ততক্ষণ পর্য়ন্ত লোকরা সেই একই জায়গায় শিবির স্থাপন করে বসবাস করত|
KJV : At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents.
YLT : by the command of Jehovah the sons of Israel journey, and by the command of Jehovah they encamp; all the days that the cloud doth tabernacle over the tabernacle they encamp.

ERVEN : This was the way the Lord showed the Israelites when to move and when to stop and set up camp. While the cloud stayed over the Holy Tent, the people continued to camp in that same place.

BNV : কোনো কোনো সমযে পবিত্র তাঁবুর ওপরে দীর্ঘ সময় ধরে মেঘ থাকতো| ইস্রায়েলীয়রা প্রভুর আদেশ পালন করত এবং সেই স্থান ত্যাগ করত না|
KJV : And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.
YLT : And in the cloud prolonging itself over the tabernacle many days, then have the sons of Israel kept the charge of Jehovah, and journey not,

ERVEN : Sometimes the cloud would stay over the Holy Tent for a long time. The Israelites obeyed the Lord and did not move.

BNV : কোনো সমযে আবার অল্প কযেকদিনের জন্যে পবিত্র তাঁবুর উপরে মেঘ থাকতো| সুতরাং লোকরা প্রভুর আদেশ পালন করত - যখন মেঘ চলতে শুরু করত, তখন তারাও সেই মেঘকে অনুসরণ করত|
KJV : And [so] it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed.

ASV : And sometimes the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; then according to the commandment of Jehovah they remained encamped, and according to the commandment of Jehovah they journeyed.
ESV : Sometimes the cloud was a few days over the tabernacle, and according to the command of the LORD they remained in camp; then according to the command of the LORD they set out.
ERVEN : Sometimes the cloud was over the Holy Tent for only a few days. So the people obeyed the Lord's command—they followed the cloud when it moved.

ERVEN : Sometimes the cloud stayed only during the night—the next morning the cloud moved. So the people gathered their things and followed it. If the cloud moved, during the day or during the night, they followed it.

BNV : যদি সেই মেঘ দুদিন অথবা এক মাস অথবা এক বছরের জন্য পবিত্র তাঁবুর উপরে স্থায়ী হত তখনও লোকরা প্রভুর আদেশ পালন করত| তারা সেই জায়গায় থাকত এবং সেই স্থান থেকে মেঘ না সরে যাওয়া পর্য়ন্ত সেই স্থান তারা ত্যাগ করত না| এরপর মেঘ সেই জায়গা থেকে উঠে চলতে শুরু করলে, লোকরাও চলতে শুরু করত|
KJV : Or [whether it were] two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.
