BNV : বিলিয়ম দেখলেন যে প্রভু ইস্রাযেলকে আশীর্বাদ করতে পেরে সন্তুষ্ট| সেই কারণে বিলিয়ম আগের মত মন্ত্র পাবার জন্য চেষ্টা করলেন না| কিন্তু তিনি মরুভূমির দিকে ফিরে তাকালেন|
KJV : And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
YLT : And Balaam seeth that [it is] good in the eyes of Jehovah to bless Israel, and he hath not gone as time by time to meet enchantments, and he setteth towards the wilderness his face;
RV : And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at the other times, to meet with enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

ERVEN : Balaam saw that the Lord wanted to bless Israel, so he did not try to change that by using any kind of magic. But Balaam turned and looked toward the desert.

BNV : বিলিয়ম চোখ তুলে মরুভূমির একপ্রান্ত থেকে অপরপ্রান্তের দিকে তাকিযে ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত লোককে দেখলেন| তারা পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর সঙ্গে বিভিন্ন স্থানে শিবির স্থাপন করেছিল| তখন বিলিয়মের কাছে ঈশ্বরের আত্মা এলেন এবং তাকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করলেন|
KJV : And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding [in his tents] according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.
YLT : and Balaam lifteth up his eyes, and seeth Israel tabernacling, by its tribes, and the Spirit of God is upon him,
RV : And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel dwelling according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.

ERVEN : He looked out across the desert and saw all the Israelites. They were camped with the tribes in their different areas. Then the Spirit of God came on him,

BNV : তখন বিলিয়ম এই ভাববানী বললেন:“বিযোরের পুত্র বিলিয়মের কাছ থেকে এই বার্তা| আমি যা কিছু স্পষ্ট দেখলাম সে সম্পর্কে বলছি|
KJV : And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
YLT : and he taketh up his simile, and saith: `An affirmation of Balaam son of Beor -- And an affirmation of the man whose eyes are shut --
RV : And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor saith, And the man whose eye was closed saith:
RSV : and he took up his discourse, and said, "The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is opened,

ERVEN : and he gave this message: "This message is from Balaam son of Beor. I am speaking about things I see clearly.

BNV : আমি ঈশ্বরের কাছ থেকে এই বার্তা শুনেছি| সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বর আমাকে যা দেখিয়েছেন তা আমি দেখেছি| আমি যা দেখেছি সেটা বিনযের সঙ্গে বলছি|
KJV : He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling [into a trance,] but having his eyes open:
YLT : An affirmation of him who is hearing sayings of God -- Who a vision of the Almighty seeth, Falling -- and eyes uncovered:
RV : He saith, which heareth the words of God, Which seeth the vision of the Almighty, Falling down, and having his eyes open:

ERVEN : These are the words I heard from God. I saw what God All-Powerful showed me. I humbly tell what I clearly see.

BNV : “হে যাকোবের লোকরা, তোমাদের তাঁবুগুলো কি সুন্দর! ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা, তোমাদের ঘরগুলো কতো সুন্দর!
KJV : How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, [and] thy tabernacles, O Israel!
YLT : How good have been thy tents, O Jacob, Thy tabernacles, O Israel;
RV : How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, Thy tabernacles, O Israel!
RSV : how fair are your tents, O Jacob, your encampments, O Israel!

BNV : তোমাদের তাঁবুগুলো তালগাছের সারির মতো, নদীর ধারের কনানের মতো| তোমরা প্রভুর দ্বারা রোপিত হওয়া সুমিষ্ট গন্ধগুল্মের মতো, জলের পাশে বেড়ে ওঠা এরস বৃক্ষের মতো|
KJV : As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river’s side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, [and] as cedar trees beside the waters.
YLT : As valleys they have been stretched out, As gardens by a river; As aloes Jehovah hath planted, As cedars by waters;

BNV : তোমাদের জলের অভাব হবে না, এই জল তোমাদের বীজের বেডে ওঠার কাজে ব্যবহার করা যাবে| রাজা অগাগের থেকে তোমাদের রাজা অনেক মহত্‌ হবেন| তোমাদের রাজ্য অনেক শ্রেষ্ঠতর হবে|
KJV : He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed [shall be] in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
YLT : He maketh water flow from his buckets, And his seed [is] in many waters; And higher than Agag [is] his king, And exalted is his kingdom.
RV : Water shall flow from his buckets, And his seed shall be in many waters, And his king shall be higher than Agag, And his kingdom shall be exalted.

BNV : “ঈশ্বর ঐ সমস্ত লোকদের মিশর থেকে নিয়ে এসেছেন| তারা বুনো ষাঁড়ের মতো শক্তিশালী| তারা তাদের সমস্ত শত্রুদের পরাজিত করবে| তারা তাদের হাড় ভেঙ্গে দেবে এবং তীর বিদ্ধ করবে|
KJV : God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce [them] through with his arrows.
YLT : God is bringing him out of Egypt; As the swiftness of a Reem is to him, He eateth up nations his adversaries, And their bones he breaketh, And [with] his arrows he smiteth,
RV : God bringeth him forth out of Egypt; He hath as it were the strength of the wild-ox: He shall eat up the nations his adversaries, And shall break their bones in pieces, And smite {cf15i them} through with his arrows.

ESV : God brings him out of Egypt and is for him like the horns of the wild ox; he shall eat up the nations, his adversaries, and shall break their bones in pieces and pierce them through with his arrows.
ERVEN : "God brought them out of Egypt. They are as strong as a wild ox. They will defeat all their enemies. They will break their bones and shatter their arrows.

BNV : “ইস্রাযেল একটি সিংহের মতো, গুঁড়ি মেরে শুয়ে আছে| হ্যাঁ, তারা তেজী সিংহের মতো, এবং কেউই তাকে জাগাতে চায না| যদি কোনো ব্যক্তি তোমাকে আশীর্বাদ করে তবে সে নিজের আশীর্বাদ পাবে এবং যদি কোনোও ব্যক্তি তোমার বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলে তাকে অনেক সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হতে হবে|”
KJV : He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed [is] he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.
YLT : He hath bent, he hath lain down as a lion, And as a lioness: who doth raise him up? He who is blessing thee [is] blessed, And he who is cursing thee [is] cursed.`
RV : He couched, he lay down as a lion, And as a lioness; who shall rouse him up? Blessed be every one that blesseth thee, And cursed be every one that curseth thee.

ERVEN : Israel is like a lion, curled up and lying down. Yes, they are like a young lion, and no one wants to wake him! Anyone who blesses you will be blessed. And anyone who curses you will have great troubles."

BNV : বালাক বিলিয়মের ওপরে প্রচণ্ড ক্রুদ্ধ হয়ে নিজের হাত ঠুকলেন| বালাক বিলিয়মকে বললেন, “আমি আপনাকে এসে আমার শত্রুদের বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলতে বলেছিলাম| কিন্তু আপনি তাদের এই নিয়ে তিনবার আশীর্বাদ করেছেন|
KJV : And Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed [them] these three times.
YLT : And the anger of Balak burneth against Balaam, and he striketh his hands; and Balak saith unto Balaam, `To pierce mine enemies I called thee, and lo, thou hast certainly blessed -- these three times;
RV : And Balak-s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.

ERVEN : Balak became very angry with Balaam and said to Balaam, "I called you to come and curse my enemies. But you have blessed them. You have blessed them three times.

BNV : এখন অবিলম্বে আপনি এই স্থান ত্যাগ করে ঘরে পালান! আমি বলেছিলাম যে আমি আপনাকে খুব ভালো পারিশ্রমিক দেব| কিন্তু দেখুন, প্রভু আপনাকে আপনার পুরস্কার থেকে বঞ্চিত করলেন|”
KJV : Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour.
YLT : and now, flee for thyself unto thy place; I have said, I do greatly honour thee, and lo, Jehovah hath kept thee back from honour.`

BNV : বিলিয়ম বালাককে বললেন, “স্মরণ করে দেখুন আপনি আমার কাছে লোক পাঠিয়ে যখন আমাকে আসার জন্য বলেছিলেন, তখনই আমি তাদের বলেছিলাম,
KJV : And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying,
YLT : And Balaam saith unto Balak, `Did I not also unto thy messengers whom thou hast sent unto me, speak, saying,

ERVEN : Balaam said to Balak, "You sent men to ask me to come. Don't you remember what I told them? I said,

BNV : বালাক তার রূপো এবং সোনায ভরা সবথেকে সুন্দর বাড়ীটি আমায় দিতে পারেন, কিন্তু তবুও আমি কেবল সেই কথাই বলবো যা প্রভু আমাকে বলার জন্য আদেশ করবেন| আমি ভালো কিংবা খারাপ কোনো কিছুই নিজে করতে পারবো না| প্রভু যা আদেশ করবেন, আমি অবশ্যই সেই কথা বলবো|’
KJV : If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do [either] good or bad of mine own mind; [but] what the LORD saith, that will I speak?
YLT : If Balak doth give to me the fulness of his house of silver and gold, I am not able to pass over the command of Jehovah, to do good or evil of mine own heart -- that which Jehovah speaketh -- it I speak?
RV : If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; what the LORD speaketh, that will I speak?
RSV : `If Balak should give me his house full of silver and gold, I would not be able to go beyond the word of the LORD, to do either good or bad of my own will; what the LORD speaks, that will I speak'?
ASV : If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of Jehovah, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; what Jehovah speaketh, that will I speak?
ESV : 'If Balak should give me his house full of silver and gold, I would not be able to go beyond the word of the LORD, to do either good or bad of my own will. What the LORD speaks, that will I speak'?
ERVEN : 'Even if Balak gives me his most beautiful house filled with silver and gold, I can still say only what the Lord commands me to say. I cannot do anything myself, good or bad. I must say what the Lord commands.'

BNV : এখন আমি আমার নিজের লোকদের কাছে ফিরে যাচ্ছি, কিন্তু আমি আপনাকে সতর্কবার্তা দেবো| ইস্রায়েলের এই সমস্ত লোকরা ভবিষ্যতে আপনার এবং আপনার লোকদের সঙ্গে কি করবে সেটা আমি বলে দেবো|”
KJV : And now, behold, I go unto my people: come [therefore, and] I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.
YLT : and, now, lo, I am going to my people; come, I counsel thee [concerning] that which this people doth to thy people, in the latter end of the days.`
RV : And now, behold, I go unto my people: come, {cf15i and} I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.
RSV : And now, behold, I am going to my people; come, I will let you know what this people will do to your people in the latter days."

ERVEN : Now I am going back to my own people. But I will give you this warning. I will tell you what these Israelites will do to you and your people in the future."

BNV : “আমি দেখলাম প্রভু আসছেন, কিন্তু এখন নয়| আমি দেখলাম তিনি আসছেন, কিন্তু তাড়াতাড়ি নয়| যাকোবের পরিবার থেকে একজন নক্ষত্র আসবে| ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের মধ্য থেকে একজন নতুন শাসনকর্তা আসবেন| সেই শাসনকর্তা মোয়াবের লোকদের মাথা চূর্ণবিচূর্ণ করে দেবেন| সেই শাসনকর্তা কলহের সকল পুত্রদের মাথা চূর্ণবিচূর্ণ করে দেবেন|
KJV : I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
YLT : I see it, but not now; I behold it, but not near; A star hath proceeded from Jacob, And a sceptre hath risen from Israel, And hath smitten corners of Moab, And hath destroyed all sons of Sheth.

ERVEN : "I see him coming, but not now. I see him coming, but not soon. A star will come from the family of Jacob. A new ruler will come from the Israelites. He will smash the heads of the Moabites and crush the heads of all the sons of Sheth.

BNV : ইস্রাযেল ইদোম দেশ অধিকার করবে এবং সে তার শত্রুর, সেয়ীর দেশটিও অধিকার করবে|
KJV : And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.
YLT : And Edom hath been a possession, And Seir hath been a possession, [for] its enemies, And Israel is doing valiantly;
RV : And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession, {cf15i which were} his enemies; While Israel doeth valiantly.
RSV : Edom shall be dispossessed, Seir also, his enemies, shall be dispossessed, while Israel does valiantly.
ASV : And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession, who were his enemies; While Israel doeth valiantly.
ESV : Edom shall be dispossessed; Seir also, his enemies, shall be dispossessed. Israel is doing valiantly.
ERVEN : Israel will grow strong! He will get the land of Edom. He will get the land of Seir, his enemy.

BNV : “যাকোবের পরিবার থেকে একজন নতুন শাসনকর্তা আসবেন| সেই শাসনকর্তা সেই শহরের অবশিষ্ট লোকদের ধ্বংস করবেন|”
KJV : Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.
YLT : And [one] doth rule out of Jacob, And hath destroyed a remnant from Ar.`
RV : And out of Jacob shall one have dominion, And shall destroy the remnant from the city.
RSV : By Jacob shall dominion be exercised, and the survivors of cities be destroyed!"
ASV : And out of Jacob shall one have dominion, And shall destroy the remnant from the city.
ESV : And one from Jacob shall exercise dominion and destroy the survivors of cities!"
ERVEN : "A new ruler will come from the family of Jacob. That ruler will destroy the people left alive in that city."

BNV : এরপর বিলিয়ম অমালেকীয়দের দেখতে পেয়ে এই ভাববাণী বললেন:“সকল জাতির মধ্যে অমালেক হচ্ছে সবথেকে শক্তিশালী| কিন্তু শেষে তারাও ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে!”
KJV : And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek [was] the first of the nations; but his latter end [shall be] that he perish for ever.

BNV : এরপর বিলিয়ম কেনীয় লোকদের দেখে এই কথাগুলো বললেন:“তোমরা বিশ্বাস করো যে পর্বতের ওপরের পাখীর বাসার মতোই তোমাদের দেশটিও নিরাপদ|
KJV : And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock.
YLT : And he seeth the Kenite, and taketh up his simile, and saith: `Enduring [is] thy dwelling, And setting in a rock thy nest,

BNV : কিন্তু প্রভু যেভাবে কেনীয়কে ধ্বংস করেছিলেন, কেনীয় লোকরাও ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে| অশূর তোমাদের বন্দী করবেন|”
KJV : Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.
YLT : But the Kenite is for a burning; Till when doth Asshur keep thee captive?`
RV : Nevertheless Kain shall be wasted, Until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.
RSV : nevertheless Kain shall be wasted. How long shall Asshur take you away captive?"

ERVEN : But you Kenites will be destroyed, {just as the Lord destroyed Cain.} Assyria will make you prisoners."

BNV : এরপর বিলিয়ম এই ভাববাণী বললেন:“ঈশ্বর যখন এটি করবেন তখন কে বাঁচবে?
KJV : And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this!
YLT : And he taketh up his simile, and saith: `Alas! who doth live when God doth this?
RV : And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this?
RSV : And he took up his discourse, and said, "Alas, who shall live when God does this?
ASV : And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this?
ESV : And he took up his discourse and said, "Alas, who shall live when God does this?
ERVEN : Then Balaam said this: "No one can live when God does this.

BNV : কিত্তীমের থেকে অনেক জাহাজ আসবে| তারা অশূরকে এবং এবরকে পরাজিত করবে| কিন্তু সেই জাহাজগুলোও ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে|”
KJV : And ships [shall come] from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever.
YLT : And -- ships [are] from the side of Chittim, And they have humbled Asshur, And they have humbled Eber, And it also for ever is perishing.`
RV : But ships {cf15i shall come} from the coast of Kittim, And they shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, And he also shall come to destruction.
