BNV : ঐ মাসেরই 24 দিনের মাথায় ইস্রায়েলীয়রা উপবাসের জন্য জড়ো হল| সে সময় সকলে দুঃখ প্রকাশের জন্য চটের পোশাক পরা ছাড়াও মাথায় ছাই লাগিয়েছিল|
KJV : Now in the twenty and fourth day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, and with sackclothes, and earth upon them.
YLT : And in the twenty and fourth day of this month have the sons of Israel been gathered, with fasting, and with sackcloth, and earth upon them;

BNV : ইস্রায়েলের আদি বাসিন্দারা বিদেশীদের থেকে নিজেদের আলাদা রেখেছিল| তারা সকলে মন্দিরে দাঁড়িয়ে তাদের ও তাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের পাপ স্বীকার করল|
KJV : And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.

BNV : তারা সেখানে তিন ঘন্টা দাঁড়িয়ে প্রভু, তাদের ঈশ্বরের বিধিপুস্তক পাঠ করল| তারপর আরো তিন ঘন্টা প্রভু তাদের ঈশ্বরকে প্রার্থনা করবার জন্য এবং পাপ স্বীকার করবার জন্য মাথা নীচু করে রইল|
KJV : And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the LORD their God [one] fourth part of the day; and [another] fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the LORD their God.

ERVEN : They stood there for about three hours, and the people read the Book of the Law of the Lord their God. Then for three more hours they confessed their sins and bowed down to worship the Lord their God.

BNV : তারপর এই সব লেবীয়রা সিঁড়ির ওপর দাঁড়িয়ে রইল: য়েশূয়, বানি, কদ্মীয়েল, শবনিয়, বুন্নি, শেরেবিয়, বানি, কনানী| তারা উচ্চস্বরে তাদের প্রভু, ঈশ্বরের কাছে প্রার্থনা করতে লাগল|
KJV : Then stood up upon the stairs, of the Levites, Jeshua, and Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani, [and] Chenani, and cried with a loud voice unto the LORD their God.
YLT : And there stand up on the ascent, of the Levites, Jeshua, and Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani, Chenani, and they cry with a loud voice unto Jehovah their God.

BNV : এরপর য়েশূয়, বানি, কদ্মীয়েল, বুন্নি, হশব্নির, শেরেবিয়, হোদিয়, শবনিয়, পথাহিয় প্রমুখ লেবীয়রা বলল, ‘উঠে দাঁড়াও এবং তোমাদের প্রভু ঈশ্বরের প্রশংসা কর!”ঈশ্বর সর্বদা ছিলেন! এবং তিনি চির দিন থাকবেনও! মানবজাতি তোমার মহান নামের প্রশংসা করুক! তোমার নাম সব কিছুর ঊর্দ্ধে উঠুক এবং বন্দিত হোক!
KJV : Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, [and] Pethahiah, said, Stand up [and] bless the LORD your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.

ERVEN : Then these Levites spoke again: Jeshua, Bani, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah. They said, "Stand up and praise the Lord your God! "God has always lived and will live forever. People should praise your glorious name. May your name be lifted above all blessing and praise.

BNV : হে প্রভু, এক মাত্র তুমিই ঈশ্বর! তুমিই সেই জন, য়ে আকাশ তৈরী করেছে! তুমিই মহান স্বর্গ আর মর্ত্যে যা কিছু আছে সে সব, পৃথিবী আর অভ্য়ন্তরস্থ সব কিছু আর সমুদ্র মধ্যস্থিত সব কিছু সৃষ্টি করেছ| সবেতে তুমিই দিয়েছো জীবনের ছোঁয়া এবং সমস্ত স্বর্গীয় দেবদূতরা নত হয়ে তোমার উপাসনা করে!
KJV : Thou, [even] thou, [art] LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all [things] that [are] therein, the seas, and all that [is] therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
YLT : Thou [art] He, O Jehovah, Thyself -- Thou hast made the heavens, the heavens of the heavens, and all their host, the earth and all that [are] on it, the seas and all that [are] in them, and Thou art keeping all of them alive, and the host of the heavens to Thee are bowing themselves.

ESV : "You are the LORD, you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and you preserve all of them; and the host of heaven worships you.
ERVEN : You are God. Lord, only you are God. You made the sky and the highest heavens, and everything in them. You made the earth, and everything on it. You made the seas, and everything in them. You give life to everything. All the heavenly angels bow down and worship you.

BNV : হে প্রভু, তুমিই আমাদের ঈশ্বর| তুমিই সেই জন য়ে অব্রামকে মনোনীত করে বাবিলের ঊর থেকে নেতৃত্ব দিয়ে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলে এবং তার নাম বদলে অব্রাহাম রেখেছিলে|
KJV : Thou [art] the LORD the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham;
YLT : `Thou [art] He, O Jehovah God, who didst fix on Abraham, and didst bring him out from Ur of the Chaldeans, and didst make his name Abraham,

BNV : তুমিই তার আনুগত্য এবং সততা লক্ষ্য করেছ| তুমিই সেই জন য়ে তার সঙ্গে একটি চুক্তি করেছিলে এবং তাকে ও তার উত্তরপুরুষদের কনানীয, হিত্তীয়, ইমোরীয়, পরিষীয়, যিবূষীয় এবং গির্গাশীযদের জমিগুলি দেবার প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলে| তুমি তোমার প্রতিশ্রুতি রেখেছো কারণ তুমি ভাল|
KJV : And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give [it, I say,] to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou [art] righteous:
YLT : and didst find his heart stedfast before Thee, so as to make with him the covenant, to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite, and the Girgashite, to give [it] to his seed. `And Thou dost establish Thy words, for Thou [art] righteous,

ESV : You found his heart faithful before you, and made with him the covenant to give to his offspring the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite. And you have kept your promise, for you are righteous.
ERVEN : You saw he was true and loyal to you, and you made an agreement with him. You promised to give him the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites, and Girgashites. But you promised to give that land to Abraham's descendants. And you kept your promise because you are good.

BNV : তুমি মিশরে আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের দুর্গতি দেখেছিলে ও লোহিত সাগর থেকে তাদের এন্দন শুনেছিলে|
KJV : And didst see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heardest their cry by the Red sea;
YLT : and dost see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and their cry hast heard by the sea of Suph,

BNV : তুমি ফরৌণে তার আধিকারিকদের ও তার লোকদের কাছে নানা চিহ্ন ও অদ্ভুত কার্য়্য় দেখিয়েছিলে| তুমি জানতে য়ে, মিশরীযরা নিজেদের আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের থেকে শ্রেষ্ঠতর ভাবত| কিন্তু তুমি প্রমাণ করলে, তুমি কত মহান! আজ পর্য়ন্ত তারা তা স্মরণ করে|
KJV : And shewedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land: for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them. So didst thou get thee a name, as [it is] this day.
YLT : and dost give signs and wonders on Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land, for Thou hast known that they have acted proudly against them, and Thou makest to Thee a name as [at] this day.

ERVEN : You showed the miracles to Pharaoh. You did amazing things to his officials and his people. You knew that the Egyptians thought they were better than our ancestors. But you proved how great you are, and they remember that even today.

BNV : তুমি তাদের চোখের সামনে লোহিত সাগরকে দ্বিখণ্ডিত করলে আর শুকনো জমির ওপর দিয়ে হেঁটে গেলে কিন্তু তুমি তাড়া করে আসা শএুদের সমুদ্র ফেলে দিলে| তারা পাথরের মতো সমুদ্রে ডুবে গেল|

BNV : একটি উঁচু মেঘ দিয়ে দিনের বেলা তুমি তাদের পথ দেখালে| রাতের বেলা, একটি আলোকস্তম্ভ দিয়ে তুমি তাদের পথ দেখালে| তুমি তাদের দেখালে কোথায য়েতে হবে|
KJV : Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go.
YLT : And by a pillar of cloud Thou hast led them by day, and by a pillar of fire by night, to lighten to them the way in which they go.

BNV : এরপর সীনয় পর্বতে স্বর্গের চূড়া থেকে তুমি বয়ং কথা বলে তাদের দিলে প্রকৃত শিক্ষা, যা ভালো; তুমি তাদের বিধিসমূহ ও আজ্ঞা দিলে য়েগুলি ভালো|
KJV : Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:
YLT : `And on mount Sinai Thou hast come down, even to speak with them from the heavens, and Thou dost give to them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commands.

BNV : তুমি তোমার দাস, মোশির মাধ্যমে তোমার পবিত্র বিশ্রামের দিনের কথা তাদের জানালে| তুমি তাদের আজ্ঞা, বিধিসমূহ এবং শিক্ষামালা দিলে|
KJV : And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:

ERVEN : You told them about your special day of rest—the Sabbath. Through your servant Moses, you gave them commands, laws, and teachings.

BNV : ওরা সকলে ক্ষুধার্ত ছিল, তাই তুমি স্বর্গ থেকে সবাইকে খাবার দিলে| ওরা সকলে তৃষ্ণার্ত ছিল, তাই তুমি পাথর থেকে সবাইকে জল দিলে| তারপর তুমি ওদের য়েতে বললে ও প্রতিশ্রুত ভূমি দখল করতে বললে| তোমার ক্ষমতা দিয়ে তুমি সেই ভূখণ্ড অন্যদের কাছ থেকে নিয়েছিলে|
KJV : And gavest them bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to possess the land which thou hadst sworn to give them.

ERVEN : They were hungry, so you gave them food from heaven. They were thirsty, so you gave them water from a rock. You told them, 'Come, take this land.' You used your power, and took the land for them.

BNV : কিন্তু আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা গর্বোদ্ধত ও জেদী হল এবং তোমার আজ্ঞা লঙঘন করল|

ERVEN : You warned them. You told them to come back, but they were too proud. They refused to listen to your commands. If people obey your laws, they will live. But our ancestors broke your laws. They were stubborn. They turned their backs on you. They refused to listen.
