KJV : Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
YLT : Hear, I pray you, that which Jehovah is saying: `Rise -- strive thou with the mountains, And cause thou the hills to hear thy voice.`

KJV : Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD’S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.
YLT : Hear, O mountains, the strife of Jehovah, Ye strong ones -- foundations of earth! For a strife [is] to Jehovah, with His people, And with Israel He doth reason.
RV : Hear, O ye mountains, the LORD-S controversy, and ye enduring foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.

ESV : Hear, you mountains, the indictment of the LORD, and you enduring foundations of the earth, for the LORD has an indictment against his people, and he will contend with Israel.
ERVEN : The Lord has a complaint against his people. Mountains, listen to the Lord's complaint. Foundations of the earth, hear the Lord. He will prove that Israel is wrong!"

BNV : প্রভু বলেন, “আমার লোকেরা, আমাকে বলো আমি কি করেছি! আমি কি তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে কোন ভুল কাজ করেছি? আমি কি তোমাদের জীবনকে খুব কঠিন করে তুলেছি? উত্তর দাও!
KJV : O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.
YLT : O My people, what have I done to thee? And what -- have I wearied thee? Testify against Me.
RV : O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.
RSV : "O my people, what have I done to you? In what have I wearied you? Answer me!

ERVEN : He says, "My people, tell me what I did! Did I do something wrong against you? Did I make life too hard for you?

BNV : আমি য়ে কাজগুলো করেছি তা তোমাদের বলবো! আমি তোমাদের কাছে মোশি, হারোণ এবং মরিয়মকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম| মিশর দেশ থেকে আমি তোমাদের নিয়ে এসেছিলাম, তোমাদের দাসত্ব থেকে মুক্তি দিয়েছিলাম|
KJV : For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
YLT : For I brought thee up from the land of Egypt, And from the house of servants I have ransomed thee, And I send before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

BNV : হে আমার লোকেরা, মোযাবের রাজা বালাকের মন্দ পরিকল্পনাগুলির কথা মনে কর| মনে কর, বিয়োরের পুত্র বিলিয়ম বালাককে কি বলেছিল| আকাসিযা থেকে গিল্গলের মধ্যে কি সব ঘটেছিল তা মনে কর| ওই ব্যাপারগুলো মনে কর তাহলে তোমরা জানবে, প্রভুই ন্যায়!”
KJV : O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.
YLT : O My people, remember, I pray you, What counsel did Balak king of Moab, What answer him did Balaam son of Beor, (From Shittim unto Gilgal,) In order to know the righteous acts of Jehovah.`
RV : O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him; {cf15i remember} from Shittim unto Gilgal, that ye may know the righteous acts of the LORD.

BNV : প্রভুর সঙ্গে দেখা করতে আসার সমযে আমাকে কি আনতে হবে? উর্দ্ধস্থ ঈশ্বরকে নত হযে প্রণাম করার সময আমাকে কি করতে হবে? আমি কি প্রভুর কাছে হোমবলি নিবেদন করবার জন্য় এক বছরের গোবত্স নিযে আসব?
KJV : Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, [and] bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
YLT : With what do I come before Jehovah? Do I bow to God Most High? Do I come before Him with burnt-offerings? With calves -- sons of a year?

KJV : Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, [or] with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn [for] my transgression, the fruit of my body [for] the sin of my soul?
YLT : Is Jehovah pleased with thousands of rams? With myriads of streams of oil? Do I give my first-born [for] my transgression? The fruit of my body [for] the sin of my soul?
RV : will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

ERVEN : Will the Lord be pleased with a thousand rams or with ten thousand rivers of oil? Should I offer him my first child to pay for my wrongs? Should I sacrifice my very own child for my sins?

BNV : ওহে মানুষ, প্রভু তোমাদের বলেছেন ভালো বলতে কি বোঝায| সেইটিই প্রভু তোমাদের কাছ থেকে চাইছেন: অন্যান্য লোকেদের সঙ্গে ন্যায় আচরণ কর| দয়া এবং আনুগত্য ভালবাসো| তোমাদের ঈশ্বরের সঙ্গে নম্রভাবে বাস কর|
KJV : He hath shewed thee, O man, what [is] good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
YLT : He hath declared to thee, O man, what [is] good; Yea, what is Jehovah requiring of thee, Except -- to do judgment, and love kindness, And lowly to walk with thy God?

BNV : প্রভুর রব শহরকে ডাক দিল| জ্ঞানী ব্যক্তিরা প্রভুর নামকে সম্মান করে| তাই, শাস্তির দণ্ডের প্রতি এবং যিনি দণ্ডটি ধরে থাকেন তাঁর প্রতি মনোয়োগ দাও|
KJV : The LORD’S voice crieth unto the city, and [the man of] wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.
YLT : A voice of Jehovah to the city calleth, And wisdom doth fear Thy name, Hear ye the rod, and Him who appointed it.

BNV : খারাপ লোকেরা কি এখনও চুরি করা মূল্যবান জিনিসপত্র লুকিয়ে রাখছে? সেই খারাপ লোকেরা কি এখনও খুব ছোট্ট টুকরী দিয়ে লোক ঠকাচ্ছে? হ্যাঁ! ঐসব ঘটনা এখনও ঘটছে!
KJV : Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure [that is] abominable?
YLT : Are there yet [in] the house of the wicked Treasures of wickedness, And the abhorred scanty ephah?
RV : Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?
RSV : Can I forget the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is accursed?

ERVEN : Do the wicked still hide treasures that they have stolen? Do they still cheat people with baskets that are too small? Yes, all of this is still happening!

BNV : এইসব লোকেদের কি আমার ক্ষমা করা উচিত, য়ারা চুরি করে এবং লোকেদের প্রতারিত করে? য়ারা এখনও লোকেদের ভুল থলি ও ভুল মাপনযন্ত্র দিয়ে প্রতারিত করে তাদের কি আমার ক্ষমা করা উচিত্‌? না!
KJV : Shall I count [them] pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?
YLT : Do I reckon [it] pure with balances of wickedness? And with a bag of deceitful stones?
RV : Shall I be pure with wicked balances, and with a bag of deceitful weights?
RSV : Shall I acquit the man with wicked scales and with a bag of deceitful weights?

ERVEN : Some people carry special weights that they use to cheat people when they weigh their goods. Should I pardon them?

BNV : ওই শহরের ধনী ব্যক্তিরা এখনও নিষ্ঠুর| ওই শহরের লোকেরা মিথ্যা কথা বলে! হ্যাঁ, ওরা প্রতারণাপূর্ণ কথা বলে!
KJV : For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue [is] deceitful in their mouth.
YLT : Whose rich ones have been full of violence, And its inhabitants have spoken falsehood, And their tongue [is] deceitful in their mouth.

BNV : সেজন্য আমি তোমাদের শাস্তি দেওয়া শুরু করেছি| তোমাদের পাপের জন্য আমি তোমাদের ধ্বংস করব|
KJV : Therefore also will I make [thee] sick in smiting thee, in making [thee] desolate because of thy sins.
YLT : And I also, I have begun to smite thee, To make desolate, because of thy sins.
RV : Therefore I also have smitten thee with a grievous wound; I have made thee desolate because of thy sins.
RSV : Therefore I have begun to smite you, making you desolate because of your sins.

BNV : তোমরা খাবে, কিন্তু তোমাদের পেট ভরবে না| তোমরা ক্ষুধার্ত এবং খালি অবস্থায় থাকবে| তোমরা লোকেদের নিরাপদ আশ্রয়ে আনার চেষ্টা করবে| কিন্তু তোমরা য়াদের রক্ষা করবে, লোকে তাদেরই তরবারির আঘাতে মেরে ফেলবে|
KJV : Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down [shall be] in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and [that] which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword.
YLT : Thou -- thou eatest, and thou art not satisfied, And thy pit [is] in thy midst, And thou removest, and dost not deliver, And that which thou deliverest, to a sword I give.

ERVEN : You will eat, but you will not become full. You will still be hungry and empty. You will try to bring people to safety, but people with swords will kill the people you rescued.

BNV : তোমরা তোমাদের বীজ বপন করবে; কিন্তু তোমরা খাদ্য় সংগ্রহ করতে পারবে না| তোমরা তোমাদের জলপাই পিষে তেল বের করার চেষ্টা করবে, কিন্তু কোন তেল পাবে না| তোমরা তোমাদের দ্রাক্ষা দলাবে কিন্তু মিষ্টি দ্রাক্ষারস পান করার জন্য় পর্য়াপ্ত রস সংগ্রহ করতে পারবে না!
KJV : Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.
YLT : Thou -- thou sowest, and thou dost not reap, Thou -- thou treadest the olive, And thou pourest not out oil, And new wine -- and thou drinkest not wine.

BNV : কেন? কারণ তোমরা অম্রির বিধি মান্য করেছিলে, আহাবের পরিবার য়েসব খারাপ কাজ করে, তোমরা সেইসব খারাপ কাজ করে থাক| তোমরা তাদের শিক্ষামালা অনুসরণ করে থাক| সেজন্য় আমি তোমাদের ধ্বংস হতে দেব| লোকেরা এতই অবাক হবে য়ে শিস দেবে য়খন দেখবে তোমাদের শহর ধ্বংস হচ্ছে| তখন তোমরা আমার লোকেদের লজ্জা বহন করবে|
KJV : For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.
YLT : And kept habitually are the statutes of Omri, And all the work of the house of Ahab, And ye do walk in their counsels, For My giving thee for a desolation, And its inhabitants for a hissing, And the reproach of My people ye do bear!

ERVEN : This is because you obey the laws of Omri. You do all the evil things that Ahab's family does. You follow their teachings, so I will let you be destroyed. People will whistle in amazement when they see your destroyed city. Then you will bear the shame that the other nations bring to you."
