BNV : আবার তিনি সমাজ-গৃহে গেলেন৷ সেখানে একটা লোক ছিল, যার একটা হাত পঙ্গু হয়ে গিয়েছিল৷
KJV : And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.
YLT : And he entered again into the synagogue, and there was there a man having the hand withered,

BNV : তিনি লোকটিকে সুস্থ করেন কি না, তা দেখার জন্য কিছু লোক তাঁর দিকে নজর রাখল, যাতে তাঁর দোষ ধরতে পারে৷
KJV : And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

ERVEN : Some Jews there were watching Jesus closely. They were waiting to see if he would heal the man on a Sabbath day. They wanted to see Jesus do something wrong so that they could accuse him.

BNV : যীশু সেই লোকটিকে, যার হাত পঙ্গু হয়ে গেছে তাকে বললেন, ‘সকলের সামনে এসে দাঁড়াও৷’
KJV : And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, {SCJ}Stand forth. {SCJ.}
YLT : And he saith to the man having the hand withered, `Rise up in the midst.`
RV : And he saith unto the man that had his hand withered, Stand forth.
RSV : And he said to the man who had the withered hand, "Come here."

ERVEN : Jesus said to the man with the crippled hand, "Stand up here so that everyone can see you."

BNV : পরে তিনি তাদের বললেন, ‘বিশ্রামবারে লোকের উপকার, না ক্ষতি করা, কোনটি বিধিসম্মত? জীবন রক্ষা করা না জীবন নষ্ট করা, কোনটি বিধিসম্মত? কিন্তু তারা চুপ করে থাকল৷
KJV : And he saith unto them, {SCJ}Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill?{SCJ.} But they held their peace.

ERVEN : Then Jesus asked the people, "Which is the right thing to do on the Sabbath day: to do good or to do evil? Is it right to save a life or to destroy one?" The people said nothing to answer him.

BNV : তখন তিনি ক্রুদ্ধ দৃষ্টিতে তাদের চারিদিকে তাকালেন এবং তাদের কঠোর মনের জন্য দুঃখ প্রকাশ করে সেই লোকটিকে বললেন, ‘তোমার হাত বাড়াও৷’ সে তার হাত বাড়িয়ে দিলে তার হাত ভাল হয়ে গেল৷
KJV : And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, {SCJ}Stretch forth thine hand.{SCJ.} And he stretched [it] out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

ERVEN : Jesus looked at the people. He was angry, but he felt very sad because they were so stubborn. He said to the man, "Hold out your hand." The man held out his hand, and it was healed.

BNV : ফরীশীরা বেরিয়ে গিয়ে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে হেরোদীয়দের সাথে যীশুর বিরুদ্ধে ষড়যন্ত্র করতে লাগল, য়ে কেমন করে তাঁকে হত্যা করতে পারে৷
KJV : And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
YLT : and the Pharisees having gone forth, immediately, with the Herodians, were taking counsel against him how they might destroy him.

BNV : যীশু তাঁর শিষ্যদের নিয়ে গালীল হ্রদের দিকে গেলেন৷ গালীল, যিহূদিযা, জেরুশালেম, ইদোম এমন কি যর্দন নদীর অপর পারে সোর ও সীদোন থেকে বহুলোক তাঁদের পিছনে পিছনে এল৷
KJV : But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,

BNV : তিনি য়ে সমস্ত অলৌকিক কাজ করেছিলেন তা শুনে এই বিশাল জনতা তাঁর কাছে এসেছিল৷
KJV : And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and [from] beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.
YLT : and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon -- a great multitude -- having heard how great things he was doing, came unto him.

ERVEN : Many also came from Judea, from Jerusalem, from Idumea, from the area across the Jordan River, and from the area around Tyre and Sidon. These people came because they heard about all that Jesus was doing.

BNV : যাতে ভীড়ের চাপ তাঁর ওপরে না পড়ে, তাই তিনি শিষ্যদের তাঁর জন্য একটা ছোট নৌকা প্রস্তুত রাখতে বললেন৷
KJV : And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
YLT : And he said to his disciples that a little boat may wait on him, because of the multitude, that they may not press upon him,
RV : And he spake to his disciples, that a little boat should wait on him because of the crowd, lest they should throng him:

ERVEN : Jesus saw how many people there were, so he told his followers to get a small boat and make it ready for him. He wanted the boat so that the crowds of people could not push against him.

BNV : তিনি বহুলোককে সুস্থ করেছিলেন, তাই সমস্ত রোগী তাঁকে স্পর্শ করার জন্য ঠেলাঠেলি করছিল৷
KJV : For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
YLT : for he did heal many, so that they threw themselves on him, in order to touch him -- as many as had plagues;

BNV : অশুচি আত্মায় পাওযা রোগীরা তাঁকে দেখতে পেলেই তাঁর পায়ের সামনে পড়ে চেঁচিয়ে বলত, ‘আপনি ঈশ্বরের পুত্র৷’
KJV : And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
YLT : and the unclean spirits, when they were seeing him, were falling down before him, and were crying, saying -- `Thou art the Son of God;`
RV : And the unclean spirits, whensoever they beheld him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

ERVEN : Some people had evil spirits inside them. When the evil spirits saw Jesus, they bowed before him and shouted, "You are the Son of God!"

BNV : কিন্তু তিনি তাদের কঠোরভাবে তিরস্কার করতেন যাতে তারা তাঁর পরিচয় না দেয়৷
KJV : And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.
YLT : and many times he was charging them that they might not make him manifest.

ERVEN : But Jesus gave the spirits a strong warning not to tell anyone who he was.

BNV : তারপর তিনি পাহাড়ের ওপরে উঠে নিজের ইচ্ছামতো কিছু লোককে কাছে ডাকলে তাঁরা তাঁর কাছে এলেন৷
KJV : And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth [unto him] whom he would: and they came unto him.

BNV : আর তিনি বারোজনকে প্রেরিত পদে নিযোগ করলেন য়েন তাঁরা তাঁর সাথে সাথে থাকে এবং বাক্য প্রচারের জন্য য়েন তিনি তাঁদের পাঠাতে পারেন৷
KJV : And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

BNV : তিনি য়ে বারোজনকে মনোনীত করেন তাঁদের নাম শিমোন যাকে তিনি নাম দিলেন পিতর;

BNV : এবং যিহূদা ঈষ্করিযোতীয় য়ে যীশুকে শত্রুর হাতে ধরিয়ে দিয়েছিল৷
KJV : And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.
YLT : and Judas Iscariot, who did also deliver him up; and they come into a house.

BNV : তিনি ঘরে ফিরে এলে সেখানে আবার এত লোকের ভীড় হল, য়ে তাঁরা খেতেও সময় পেলেন না৷
KJV : And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
YLT : And come together again doth a multitude, so that they are not able even to eat bread;
RV : And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.

BNV : যীশুর বাড়ির লোকরা এইসব বিষয় জানতে পেরে তাঁকে বাড়ি নিয়ে যাবার জন্য এলেন, কারণ লোকরা বলছিল য়ে তিনি পাগল হয়ে গেছেন৷
KJV : And when his friends heard [of it,] they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
YLT : and his friends having heard, went forth to lay hold on him, for they said that he was beside himself,
RV : And when his friends heard it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
RSV : And when his family heard it, they went out to seize him, for people were saying, "He is beside himself."

ERVEN : His family heard about all these things. They went to get him because people said he was crazy.

BNV : জেরুশালেম থেকে য়ে ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকরা এসেছিলেন তাঁরা বললেন, ‘যীশুকে বেলসবুবে পেয়েছে, ভুতদের রাজার সাহায্যে যীশু ভূত ছাড়ায়৷’
KJV : And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.
YLT : and the scribes who [are] from Jerusalem having come down, said -- `He hath Beelzeboul,` and -- `By the ruler of the demons he doth cast out the demons.`
RV : And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and, By the prince of the devils casteth he out the devils.
RSV : And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He is possessed by Beelzebul, and by the prince of demons he casts out the demons."

ESV : And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem were saying, "He is possessed by Beelzebul," and "by the prince of demons he casts out the demons."
ERVEN : And the teachers of the law from Jerusalem said, "Satan is living inside him! He uses power from the ruler of demons to force demons out of people."

BNV : তখন তিনি তাদের কাছে ডেকে দৃষ্টান্ত দিয়ে বলতে শুরু করলেন, ‘কেমন করে শয়তান নিজে শয়তানকে ছাড়াতে পারে?
KJV : And he called them [unto him,] and said unto them in parables, {SCJ}How can Satan cast out Satan? {SCJ.}
YLT : And, having called them near, in similes he said to them, `How is the Adversary able to cast out the Adversary?
RV : And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
RSV : And he called them to him, and said to them in parables, "How can Satan cast out Satan?

ERVEN : So Jesus called them together and talked to them using some stories. He said, "Satan will not force his own demons out of people.

BNV : কোন রাজ্য যদি নিজের বিপক্ষে নিজে ভাগ হয়ে যায়, তবে সেই রাজ্য টিকতে পারে না৷
KJV : {SCJ}And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. {SCJ.}
YLT : and if a kingdom against itself be divided, that kingdom cannot be made to stand;
RV : And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

ERVEN : A kingdom that fights against itself will not survive.

BNV : আবার কোন পরিবারে যদি পারিবারিক কলহ শুরু হয়, তবে সেই পরিবার এক থাকতে পারে না৷
KJV : {SCJ}And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. {SCJ.}
YLT : and if a house against itself be divided, that house cannot be made to stand;
RV : And if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.
RSV : And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.

ERVEN : And a family that is divided will not survive.

BNV : আবার শয়তান যদি নিজের বিরুদ্ধেই নিজে দাঁড়ায় তবে সেও টিকতে পারে না, তার শেষ হবেই৷
KJV : {SCJ}And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. {SCJ.}
YLT : and if the Adversary did rise against himself, and hath been divided, he cannot be made to stand, but hath an end.

ERVEN : If Satan is against himself and is fighting against his own people, he will not survive. That would be the end of Satan.

BNV : কেউই একজন শক্তিশালী মানুষের বাড়িতে ঢুকে তার দ্রব্য লুঠ করতে পারে না, যদি না সে সেই শক্তিশালী লোকটিকে আগে বাঁধে৷ আর বাঁধার পরই সে তার ঘর লুঠ করতে পারে৷
KJV : {SCJ}No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. {SCJ.}
YLT : `No one is able the vessels of the strong man -- having entered into his house -- to spoil, if first he may not bind the strong man, and then his house he will spoil.
