BNV : তারপর যিহোশূয় রূবেণ, গাদ এবং মনঃশি পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর অর্ধেক লোকদের একটা সভা ডাকলেন|
KJV : Then Joshua called the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh,
YLT : Then Joshua calleth for the Reubenite, and for the Gadite, and for the half of the tribe of Manasseh,

BNV : যিহোশূয় তাদের বললেন, “মোশি ছিলেন প্রভুর দাস| মোশি তোমাদের যা বলেছেন তোমরা তার সবই পালন করেছ| তাছাড়া তোমরা আমার নির্দেশও সব পালন করেছ|
KJV : And said unto them, Ye have kept all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, and have obeyed my voice in all that I commanded you:
YLT : and saith unto them, `Ye -- ye have kept the whole of that which Moses, servant of Jehovah, commanded you, and ye hearken to my voice, to all that I have commanded you;
RV : and said unto them, Ye have kept all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, and have hearkened unto my voice in all that I commanded you:

ERVEN : Joshua said to them, "Moses was the Lord's servant. You obeyed everything that Moses told you to do. And you also obeyed all of my commands.

BNV : তোমরা সব সময় ইস্রায়েলের অন্য লোকদের সাহায্য করেছ| তোমাদের প্রভু ঈশ্বর যা যা আদেশ দিয়েছিলেন তোমরা তার সবই অত্যন্ত নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে পালন করেছ|
KJV : Ye have not left your brethren these many days unto this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of the LORD your God.
YLT : ye have not left your brethren these many days unto this day, and have kept the charge -- the command of Jehovah your God.

ERVEN : All this time you have supported all the other Israelites. You carefully obeyed all the commands that the Lord your God gave you.

BNV : তোমাদের প্রভু, ঈশ্বর, ইস্রায়েলবাসীদের শাস্তি দেবেন বলে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলেন| আর প্রভু প্রতিশ্রুতি রেখেছেন| সুতরাং এখন তোমরা বাড়ী য়েতে পার| প্রভুর দাস মোশি তোমাদের যর্দন নদীর পূর্বতীরের জমি-জায়গা দিয়েছেন| তোমরা এখন সে দেশে অর্থাত্‌ তোমাদের বাড়ী যাও|
KJV : And now the LORD your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, [and] unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other side Jordan.
YLT : `And, now, Jehovah your God hath given rest to your brethren, as He spake to them; and now, turn ye, and go for yourselves to your tents, unto the land of your possession, which Moses, servant of Jehovah, hath given to you beyond the Jordan.
RV : And now the LORD your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he spake unto them: therefore now turn ye, and get you unto your tents, unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you beyond Jordan.
RSV : And now the LORD your God has given rest to your brethren, as he promised them; therefore turn and go to your home in the land where your possession lies, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other side of the Jordan.
ASV : And now Jehovah your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he spake unto them: therefore now turn ye, and get you unto your tents, unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of Jehovah gave you beyond the Jordan.
ESV : And now the LORD your God has given rest to your brothers, as he promised them. Therefore turn and go to your tents in the land where your possession lies, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other side of the Jordan.
ERVEN : The Lord your God promised to give the Israelites peace. And now, he has kept his promise, so now you can go home. The Lord's servant Moses gave you the land on the east side of the Jordan River. Now you can go home to that land.

BNV : কিন্তু মোশি তোমাদের য়েসব বিধি পালন করতে বলেছেন সেসব পালন করে চলতে ভুলো না| তোমরা প্রভু ঈশ্বরকে ভালোবাসবে| তাঁর আদেশ পালন করবে| তোমরা সবসময় তাঁকে মেনে চলবে| তোমাদের যতদূর সাধ্য সেই ভাবে তোমরা তাঁর অনুসরণ করবে ও তাঁর সেবা করবে|”
KJV : But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
YLT : Only, be very watchful to do the command and the law which Moses, servant of Jehovah, commanded you, to love Jehovah your God, and to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commands, and to cleave to Him, and to serve Him, with all your heart, and with all your soul.`

ERVEN : But remember—continue to obey the law that Moses gave you. You must love the Lord your God and obey his commands. You must continue to follow him and serve him the very best that you can."

BNV : তারপর যিহোশূয় তাদের বিদায সম্ভাষণ জানালেন| তারা বাড়ী চলে গেল|
KJV : So Joshua blessed them, and sent them away: and they went unto their tents.
YLT : And Joshua blesseth them, and sendeth them away, and they go unto their tents.

BNV : মোশি মনঃশির অর্ধেক পরিবারগোষ্ঠীকে বাশনের জমি-জায়গা দিয়েছিলেন| বাকী মনঃশির অর্ধেক পরিবারগোষ্ঠীকে তিনি দিয়েছিলেন যর্দন নদীর পশ্চিম তীর| যিহোশূয় তাদের আশীর্বাদ করে নিজের জায়গায় পাঠিয়ে দিলেন|
KJV : Now to the [one] half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given [possession] in Bashan: but unto the [other] half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side Jordan westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed them,
YLT : And to the half of the tribe of Manasseh hath Moses given, in Bashan, and to its [other] half hath Joshua given with their brethren beyond the Jordan westward; and also when Joshua hath sent them away unto their tents, then he doth bless them,
RV : Now to the one half tribe of Manasseh Moses had given {cf15i inheritance} in Bashan: but unto the other half gave Joshua among their brethren beyond Jordan westward. Moreover when Joshua sent them away unto their tents, he blessed them,
RSV : Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given a possession in Bashan; but to the other half Joshua had given a possession beside their brethren in the land west of the Jordan. And when Joshua sent them away to their homes and blessed them,
ASV : Now to the one half-tribe of Manasseh Moses had given inheritance in Bashan; but unto the other half gave Joshua among their brethren beyond the Jordan westward; moreover when Joshua sent them away unto their tents, he blessed them,
ESV : Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given a possession in Bashan, but to the other half Joshua had given a possession beside their brothers in the land west of the Jordan. And when Joshua sent them away to their homes and blessed them,
ERVEN : Moses had given the land of Bashan to half of the Manasseh tribe. Joshua gave land on the west side of the Jordan River to the other half of the Manasseh tribe. Joshua blessed them and sent them home.

BNV : তিনি বললেন, “তোমরা এখন বেশ ধনী হয়েছ| তোমাদের অনেক পশু আছে| তোমাদের আছে অনেক সোনা, রূপো এবং দামী দামী গযনাগাটি| তোমাদের আছে সুন্দর সুন্দর পোশাক| শত্রুদের কাছ থেকে অনেক কিছুই তোমরা পেয়েছ| এইসব জিনিস তোমাদের ভাইদের সঙ্গে, যারা যর্দন নদীর পূর্বদিকে রযে গেছে, তাদের সঙ্গে ভাগ করে নিও|”
KJV : And he spake unto them, saying, Return with much riches unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren.
YLT : and speak unto them, saying, `With great riches turn ye back unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment; divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren.`
RV : and spake unto them, saying, Return with much wealth unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren.
RSV : he said to them, "Go back to your homes with much wealth, and with very many cattle, with silver, gold, bronze, and iron, and with much clothing; divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren."
ASV : and spake unto them, saying, Return with much wealth unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren.
ESV : he said to them, "Go back to your tents with much wealth and with very much livestock, with silver, gold, bronze, and iron, and with much clothing. Divide the spoil of your enemies with your brothers."
ERVEN : He said, "You have become very rich. You have many animals. You have gold, silver, and expensive jewelry. You have many beautiful clothes. You have taken many things from your enemies. Go home and divide these things among yourselves."

BNV : সুতরাং রূবেণ, গাদ ও মনঃশি পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর অর্ধেক ইস্রায়েলের অন্য লোকদের রেখে চলে গেল| তারা কনানের শীলোতে ছিল| সে জায়গা ছেড়ে দিয়ে তারা গিলিয়দে ফিরে গেল| তারা ফিরে গেল মোশির দেওয়া জায়গায়| প্রভু মোশিকে তাদের এই জায়গা দেবার জন্যই আদেশ দিয়েছিলেন|
KJV : And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which [is] in the land of Canaan, to go unto the country of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
YLT : And the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, turn back and go from the sons of Israel out of Shiloh, which [is] in the land of Canaan, to go unto the land of Gilead, unto the land of their possession, in which they have possession, according to the command of Jehovah, by the hand of Moses;
RV : And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go unto the land of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
RSV : So the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh returned home, parting from the people of Israel at Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go to the land of Gilead, their own land of which they had possessed themselves by command of the LORD through Moses.
ASV : And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go unto the land of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.
ESV : So the people of Reuben and the people of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh returned home, parting from the people of Israel at Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go to the land of Gilead, their own land of which they had possessed themselves by command of the LORD through Moses.
ERVEN : So the people from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh left the other Israelites at Shiloh in Canaan. They went back home to Gilead. This was their own land, the land that Moses gave them, as the Lord commanded.

BNV : রূবেণ, গাদ ও মনঃশির পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর অর্ধেক লোকরা গিলিয়দ নামে একটি জায়গায় গেল| জায়গাটা কনানের অন্তর্গত যর্দন নদীর কাছেই| সেখানে তারা একটা চমত্কার বেদী বানালো|
KJV : And when they came unto the borders of Jordan, that [are] in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to see to.
YLT : and they come in unto the districts of the Jordan, which [are] in the land of Canaan, and the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, build there an altar by the Jordan -- a great altar for appearance.
RV : And when they came unto the region about Jordan, that is in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to see to.
RSV : And when they came to the region about the Jordan, that lies in the land of Canaan, the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by the Jordan, an altar of great size.
ASV : And when they came unto the region about the Jordan, that is in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by the Jordan, a great altar to look upon.
ESV : And when they came to the region of the Jordan that is in the land of Canaan, the people of Reuben and the people of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by the Jordan, an altar of imposing size.
ERVEN : They went to the place called Geliloth, near the Jordan River in the land of Canaan. There they built a beautiful altar.

BNV : ইস্রায়েলের অন্যান্য লোকরা যারা তখনও শীলোতে ছিল, শুনতে পেল য়ে এই তিন পরিবারগোষ্ঠী এরকম একটা বেদী তৈরী করেছে| তারা এও শুনল য়ে বেদীটা হয়েছে কনানের সীমান্তে গিলিয়দ নামক একটি জায়গায়| সেটা ইস্রায়েলের দিকের যর্দন নদীর কাছেই|
KJV : And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have built an altar over against the land of Canaan, in the borders of Jordan, at the passage of the children of Israel.
YLT : And the sons of Israel hear, saying, `Lo, the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, have built the altar over-against the land of Canaan, on the districts of the Jordan, at the passage of the sons of Israel.`
RV : And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have built an altar in the forefront of the land of Canaan, in the region about Jordan, on the side that pertaineth to the children of Israel.
RSV : And the people of Israel heard say, "Behold, the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built an altar at the frontier of the land of Canaan, in the region about the Jordan, on the side that belongs to the people of Israel."
ASV : And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built an altar in the forefront of the land of Canaan, in the region about the Jordan, on the side that pertaineth to the children of Israel.
ESV : And the people of Israel heard it said, "Behold, the people of Reuben and the people of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built the altar at the frontier of the land of Canaan, in the region about the Jordan, on the side that belongs to the people of Israel."
ERVEN : But the other Israelites who were still at Shiloh heard about the altar that these three tribes built. They heard that the altar was at the border of Canaan at the place called Geliloth. It was near the Jordan River on Israel's side.

BNV : এসব শুনে ইস্রায়েলের সব লোক এই তিনটি পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর ওপর বেশ রেগে গেল| তারা একসঙ্গে মিলিত হয়ে এদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করবে বলে ঠিক করল|
KJV : And when the children of Israel heard [of it,] the whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up to war against them.
YLT : And the sons of Israel hear, and all the company of the sons of Israel is assembled at Shiloh, to go up against them to war;
RV : And when the children of Israel heard of it, the whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up against them to war.
RSV : And when the people of Israel heard of it, the whole assembly of the people of Israel gathered at Shiloh, to make war against them.

ERVEN : All the Israelites became very angry with these three tribes. They met together and decided to fight against them.

BNV : সেই জন্য ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা কয়েক জনকে পাঠালো রূবেণ, গাদ এবং মনঃশির লোকদের সঙ্গে কথা বলতে| এই সব ইস্রায়েলীয়দের নেতা ছিল পীনহস| পীনহস হচ্ছে যাজক ইলিয়াসরের পুত্র|
KJV : And the children of Israel sent unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,
YLT : and the sons of Israel send unto the sons of Reuben, and unto the sons of Gad, and unto the half of the tribe of Manasseh -- unto the land of Gilead -- Phinehas son of Eleazar the priest,
RV : And the children of Israel sent unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest;
RSV : Then the people of Israel sent to the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, in the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,
ASV : And the children of Israel sent unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,
ESV : Then the people of Israel sent to the people of Reuben and the people of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh, in the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,
ERVEN : So the Israelites sent some men to talk to the people of Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh. The leader of these men was Phinehas, son of Eleazar the priest.

BNV : ইস্রায়েলবাসীরা এছাড়াও তাদের পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর দশজন নেতাকে সেখানে পাঠিয়েছিল| প্রতিটি গোষ্ঠী থেকে একজন করে নেতা পাঠানো হয়েছিল| এরা থাকত শীলোতে|
KJV : And with him ten princes, of each chief house a prince throughout all the tribes of Israel; and each one [was] an head of the house of their fathers among the thousands of Israel.
YLT : and ten princes with him, one prince, one prince, for a house of a father, for all the tribes of Israel, and each of them a head of a house of their fathers, for the thousands of Israel.
RV : and with him ten princes, one prince of a fathers- house for each of the tribes of Israel; and they were every one of them head of their fathers- houses among the thousands of Israel.
RSV : and with him ten chiefs, one from each of the tribal families of Israel, every one of them the head of a family among the clans of Israel.

ERVEN : They also sent ten of the leaders of the tribes there. There was one man from each family group of Israel who was at Shiloh.

BNV : সেই জন্য এই এগার জন লোক গিলিয়দে গেল| তারা রূবেণ, গাদ ও মনঃশির লোকদের বলল,
KJV : And they came unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, unto the land of Gilead, and they spake with them, saying,
YLT : And they come in unto the sons of Reuben, and unto the sons of Gad, and unto the half of the tribe of Manasseh, unto the land of Gilead, and speak with them, saying,
RV : And they came unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, unto the land of Gilead, and they spake with them, saying,
RSV : And they came to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, in the land of Gilead, and they said to them,

ERVEN : So these eleven men went to Gilead. They went to talk to the people of Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh. The eleven men said to them,

BNV : “ইস্রায়েলের সব লোক তোমাদের কাছে জানতে চায কেন ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধে তোমরা এই কাজ করলে? কেন তোমরা প্রভুর বিরুদ্ধাচাণ করেছ? কেন তোমরা নিজেদের জন্য বেদী তৈরী করলে? তোমরা তো জান এটা ঈশ্বরের শিক্ষার বিরুদ্ধাচারণ|
KJV : Thus saith the whole congregation of the LORD, What trespass [is] this that ye have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following the LORD, in that ye have builded you an altar, that ye might rebel this day against the LORD?
YLT : `Thus said all the company of Jehovah, What [is] this trespass which ye have trespassed against the God of Israel, to turn back to-day from after Jehovah, by your building for you an altar, for your rebelling to-day against Jehovah?
RV : Thus saith the whole congregation of the LORD, What trespass is this that ye have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following the LORD, in that ye have builded you an altar, to rebel this day against the LORD?
RSV : "Thus says the whole congregation of the LORD, `What is this treachery which you have committed against the God of Israel in turning away this day from following the LORD, by building yourselves an altar this day in rebellion against the LORD?
ASV : Thus saith the whole congregation of Jehovah, What trespass is this that ye have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following Jehovah, in that ye have builded you an altar, to rebel this day against Jehovah?
ESV : "Thus says the whole congregation of the LORD, 'What is this breach of faith that you have committed against the God of Israel in turning away this day from following the LORD by building yourselves an altar this day in rebellion against the LORD?
ERVEN : "All the Israelites ask you: Why did you do this thing against the God of Israel? Why did you turn against the Lord? Why did you build an altar for yourselves? You know that this is against God's law.

ERVEN : Remember what happened at Peor? We are still suffering because of that sin. Because of that great sin, God caused many of the Israelites to become very sick. And we are still suffering because of that sickness today.

KJV : But that ye must turn away this day from following the LORD? and it will be, [seeing] ye rebel to day against the LORD, that to morrow he will be wroth with the whole congregation of Israel.
YLT : that ye turn back to-day from after Jehovah? and it hath been -- ye rebel to-day against Jehovah -- and to-morrow against all the company of Israel He is wroth.

BNV : তোমরা কি মনে কর য়ে আমরা এই বেদী বানিয়েছি হোমবলি, শস্য নৈবেদ্য ও মঙ্গল নৈবেদ্য উত্সর্গ করার জন্য? না মোটেই তা নয়| কেন বেদী বানিয়েছি জানো? আমাদের ভয় ছিল ভবিষ্যতে তোমাদের লোকরা আমাদের মেনে নেবে না য়ে আমরাও তোমাদেরই লোক| আমরা তোমাদেরই জাতি| সেদিন তোমাদের লোকরাই বলবে ইস্রায়েলের প্রভু ঈশ্বরকে উপাসনা করার অধিকার আমাদের নেই|
KJV : And if we have not [rather] done it for fear of [this] thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel?
YLT : `And if not, from fear of [this] thing we have done it, saying, Hereafter your sons do speak to ours sons, saying, What to you and to Jehovah God of Israel?

BNV : ঈশ্বর আমাদের যর্দন নদীর অন্য পারে থাকতে দিয়েছেন| এর অর্থ নদীই আমাদের আলাদা করে দিয়েচে, আমাদের ভয় ছিল তোমাদের সন্তানরা বড় হয়ে যখন দেশ শাসন করবে তখন তারা মনেও করবে না য়ে আমরা তোমাদেরই লোক| তখন তারা বলবে, “তোমরা রূবেন আর গাদের লোক, তোমরা কেউ ইস্রায়েলের নও|’ তখন তোমাদের সন্তানরা আমাদের সন্তানসন্ততিদের প্রভুর উপাসনা করতে দেবে না|

We were afraid that when your children grew up and ruled your land, they would not remember that we were also your people. They would say to us, 'You people of Reuben and Gad are not part of Israel.' Then your children would make our children stop worshiping the Lord.

ERVEN : The real reason we wanted our altar was to show our people that we worship the same God that you do. This altar will be the proof to you and us and to all our future children that we worship the Lord. We give our sacrifices, grain offerings, and fellowship offerings to the Lord. We wanted your children to grow up and know that we are also Israelites like yourselves.

BNV : ভবিষ্যতে যদি তোমাদের বংশধররা বলে আমরা কেউ ইস্রায়েলীয় নই তখন আমাদের বংশধররা বলবে, ‘ঐ দেখো আমাদের পিতারা এই বৈদী তৈরী করে দিয়েছেন| এই বেদী পবিত্র তাঁবুতে প্রভুর য়ে বেদী আছে হুবহু তারই মতো| এই বেদী আমরা কোন কিছু উত্সর্গ করার জন্য করি নি, আমরা য়ে ইস্রায়েলবাসী তারই প্রমাণ হিসাবে আমরা এটি নির্মাণ করেছি|’

KJV : And when Phinehas the priest, and the princes of the congregation and heads of the thousands of Israel which [were] with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spake, it pleased them.

KJV : And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we perceive that the LORD [is] among us, because ye have not committed this trespass against the LORD: now ye have delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of the LORD.

RV : And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we know that the LORD is in the midst of us, because ye have not committed this trespass against the LORD: now have ye delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of the LORD.
RSV : And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said to the Reubenites and the Gadites and the Manassites, "Today we know that the LORD is in the midst of us, because you have not committed this treachery against the LORD; now you have saved the people of Israel from the hand of the LORD."
ASV : And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we know that Jehovah is in the midst of us, because ye have not committed this trespass against Jehovah: now have ye delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of Jehovah.
ESV : And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said to the people of Reuben and the people of Gad and the people of Manasseh, "Today we know that the LORD is in our midst, because you have not committed this breach of faith against the LORD. Now you have delivered the people of Israel from the hand of the LORD."
ERVEN : So Phinehas the priest said, "Now we know that the Lord is with us and that you did not turn against him. We are happy that the Israelites will not be punished by the Lord."

KJV : And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead, unto the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word again.

ERVEN : Then Phinehas and the leaders left that place and went home. They left the people of Reuben and Gad in the land of Gilead and went back to Canaan. They went back to the Israelites and told them what had happened.

BNV : শুনে তারাও খুশী হল| তারা খুশী হয়ে ঈশ্বরকে ধন্যবাদ জানাল| রূবেণ, গাদ ও মনঃশির দেশ তারা ধ্বংস করবে না বলে স্থির করল|
KJV : And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God, and did not intend to go up against them in battle, to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt.
YLT : and the thing is good in the eyes of the sons of Israel, and the sons of Israel bless God, and have not said to go up against them to war, to destroy the land which the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad, are dwelling in.
RV : And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God, and spake no more of going up against them to war, to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and the children of Gad dwelt.

ERVEN : The Israelites were also satisfied. They were happy and thanked God. They decided not to go and fight against the people of Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh. They decided not to destroy the land where those people live.
