HOV : क्या जो बकवास करता है वह सर्वशक्तिमान से झगड़ा करे? जो ईश्वर से विवाद करता है वह इसका उत्तर दे।
KJV : Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct [him?] he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
YLT : Is the striver with the Mighty instructed? The reprover of God, let him answer it.
RV : Shall he that cavilleth contend with the Almighty? he that argueth with God, let him answer it.
RSV : "Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it."

ERVEN : "You wanted to argue with God All-Powerful. You wanted to correct me and prove that I was wrong. So give me your answer!"

HOV : देख, मैं तो तुच्छ हूँ, मैं तुझे क्या उत्तर दूं? मैं अपनी अंगुली दांत तले दबाता हूँ।
KJV : Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
YLT : Lo, I have been vile, What do I return to Thee? My hand I have placed on my mouth.

HOV : एक बार तो मैं कह चुका, परन्तु और कुछ न कहूंगा: हां दो बार भी मैं कह चुका, परन्तु अब कुछ और आगे न बढ़ूंगा।
KJV : Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.

HOV : तब यहोवा ने अय्यूब को आँधी में से यह उत्तर दिया:

HOV : पुरुष की नाईं अपनी कमर बान्ध ले, मैं तुझ से प्रश्न करता हूँ, और तू मुझे बता।
KJV : Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
YLT : Gird, I pray thee, as a man, thy loins, I ask thee, and cause thou Me to know.

HOV : क्या तू मेरा न्याय भी व्यर्थ ठहराएगा? क्या तू आप निर्दोष ठहरने की मनसा से मुझ को दोषी ठहराएगा?
KJV : Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
YLT : Dost thou also make void My judgment? Dost thou condemn Me, That thou mayest be righteous?
RV : Wilt thou even disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?
RSV : Will you even put me in the wrong? Will you condemn me that you may be justified?
ASV : Wilt thou even annul my judgment? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?

ERVEN : "Are you trying to show that I am unfair? Are you trying to look innocent by saying that I am guilty?

HOV : क्या तेरा बाहुबल ईश्वर के तुल्य है? क्या तू उसके समान शब्द से गरज सकता है?
KJV : Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
YLT : And an arm like God hast thou? And with a voice like Him dost thou thunder?
RV : Or hast thou an arm like God? and canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
RSV : Have you an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?
ASV : Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

ERVEN : Are your arms as strong as mine? Do you have a voice like mine that is as loud as thunder?

HOV : अब अपने को महिमा और प्रताप से संवार और ऐश्वर्य्य और तेज के वस्त्र पहिन ले।
KJV : Deck thyself now [with] majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
YLT : Put on, I pray thee, excellency and loftiness, Yea, honour and beauty put on.
RV : Deck thyself now with excellency and dignity; and array thyself with honour and majesty.
RSV : "Deck yourself with majesty and dignity; clothe yourself with glory and splendor.

HOV : अपने अति क्रोध की बाढ़ को बहा दे, और एक एक घमण्डी को देखते ही उसे नीचा कर।
KJV : Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one [that is] proud, and abase him.
YLT : Scatter abroad the wrath of thine anger, And see every proud one, and make him low.

HOV : तब मैं भी तेरे विषय में मान लूंगा, कि तेरा ही दहिना हाथ तेरा उद्धार कर सकता है।
KJV : Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
YLT : And even I -- I do praise thee, For thy right hand giveth salvation to thee.

KJV : He [is] the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach [unto him. ]
