BNV : প্রভু বললেন, “আমি শক্তিশালী বাতাস প্রবাহিত করব| আমি এই শক্তিশালী বাতাসকে বাবিলের বিরুদ্ধে এবং ‘লেব-কামাই’এর লোকদের বিরুদ্ধে বওযাবো|
KJV : Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind;
YLT : Thus said Jehovah: Lo, I am stirring up against Babylon, And the inhabitants of Leb -- My withstanders, A destroying wind,
RV : Thus saith the LORD: Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in Lebkamai, a destroying wind.

ERVEN : The Lord says, "I will cause a powerful, destructive wind to blow against Babylon and the Babylonians.

BNV : আমি বাবিলকে শষ্য থেকে তুষ ঝেড়ে ফেলবার মত করবার জন্য লোক পাঠাব এবং তারা বাবিলকে তুষের মত করে দেবে| তারা বাবিল থেকে সবকিছু নিয়ে নেবে| সেনারা শহর ঘিরে রাখবে এবং ভয়ঙ্কর ধ্বংস ঘটবে|
KJV : And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.
YLT : And I have sent to Babylon fanners, And they have fanned it, and they empty its land, For they have been against it, Round about -- in the day of evil.
RV : And I will send unto Babylon strangers, that shall fan her; and they shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

ERVEN : I will send foreigners to winnow Babylon, and they will take everything from the city. Armies will surround the city, and there will be terrible destruction.

BNV : বাবিলের সেনারা তাদের তীর ধনুক ব্যবহার করবে না| তারা এমন কি তাদের অস্ত্রশস্ত্রও তুলবে না| বাবিলের যুবকদের জন্য দুঃখিত হযো না| তার সেনাদের পুরোপুরি ধ্বংস কর|
KJV : Against [him that] bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against [him that] lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.
YLT : Let not the treader tread his bow, Nor lift himself up in his coat of mail, Nor have ye pity on her young men, Devote ye to destruction all her host.

ERVEN : The Babylonian soldiers will not get to use their bows and arrows. They will not even put on their armor. Don't feel sorry for the soldiers of Babylon. Destroy her army completely!

BNV : কল্দীযদের দেশে বাবিলের সৈন্যদের হত্যা করা হবে| বাবিলের রাস্তায় তারা গুরুতরভাবে আহত হবে|”
KJV : Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and [they that are] thrust through in her streets.
YLT : And fallen have the wounded in the land of the Chaldeans, And the pierced-through in her streets.

BNV : প্রভু সর্বশক্তিমান ইস্রায়েল এবং যিহূদাকে বিধ্বা মহিলাদের মতো একাকী ফেলে চলে যান নি| ঈশ্বর ঐসব লোকদের ত্যাগ করেন নি| না! ঐ লোকরা দোষী| তারা ইস্রায়েলের পবিত্র একজনকে ত্যাগ করেছিল| তারা ত্যাগ করলেও ঈশ্বর তাদের ত্যাগ করেন নি|
KJV : For Israel [hath] not [been] forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.
YLT : For, not forsaken is Israel and Judah, By its God -- by Jehovah of Hosts, For their land hath been full of guilt, Against the Holy One of Israel.

ERVEN : The Lord All-Powerful did not leave Israel and Judah alone like a widow. No, they are guilty of leaving the Holy One of Israel. They left him, but he has not left them.

BNV : বাবিল থেকে পালিয়ে যাও| পালাও নিজেদের জীবন বাঁচাতে| বাবিলের পাপের জন্য সেখানে থেকে নিহত হযো না| তাদের অপকর্মের জন্য ঈশ্বরের বাবিলীযদের শাস্তি দেবার সময় এসেছে| বাবিল তার য়োগ্য শাস্তি পাবেই|
KJV : Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this [is] the time of the LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.
YLT : Flee ye from the midst of Babylon, And deliver ye each his soul, Be not cut off in its iniquity, For a time of vengeance it [is] to Jehovah, Recompence He is rendering to her.

ERVEN : Run away from Babylon. Run to save your lives! Don't stay and be killed because of Babylon's sins! It is time for the Lord to punish the Babylonians for the bad things they did. Babylon will get the punishment that she should have.

BNV : বাবিল ছিল প্রভুর হাতের স্বর্ণ পেয়ালার মতো| বাবিল গোটা পৃথিবীকে মদ্যপ বানিয়েছে| জাতিগুলি বাবিলের মদ পান করেছে| তাই তাদের মস্তিষ্কের এই বিকৃতি|
KJV : Babylon [hath been] a golden cup in the LORD’S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

BNV : বাবিলের হঠাত্‌ পতন হবে| ছিন্ন ভিন্ন হয়ে যাবে| তার জন্য কাঁদো| তার যন্ত্রণা উপশমের জন্য ওষুধ দাও! সে সুস্থ হতেও পারে|
KJV : Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so she may be healed.
YLT : Suddenly hath Babylon fallen, Yea, it is broken, howl ye for it, Take balm for her pain, if so be it may be healed.

BNV : আমরা বাবিলকে সুস্থ করার চেষ্টা করেছি| কিন্তু সে সুস্থ হতে পারবে না| তাই আমাদের প্রত্যেকের উচিত্‌ তাকে ত্যাগ করে নিজেদের দেশে ফিরে যাওয়া| স্বর্গের ঈশ্বর ঠিক করবেন তার শাস্তি| তিনিই ঠিক করবেন বাবিলে কি হবে|
KJV : We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up [even] to the skies.

ERVEN : We tried to heal Babylon, but she cannot be healed. So let us leave her, and let each of us go to our own country. God in heaven will decide Babylon's punishment. He will decide what will happen to Babylon.

BNV : প্রভু আমাদের জন্যও প্রতিরক্ষার ব্যবস্থা করেছেন| এসো, সিয়োন সেই সব কথা বলো| এখন বলো, প্রভু আমাদের ঈশ্বরের কৃত কর্মের কথা|
KJV : The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

BNV : তীরগুলি তীক্ষ্ণ করো| বর্ম তুলে নাও| ঈশ্বর মাদীয় রাজাদের উত্তেজিত করে তুললেন| তিনি তাদের উত্তেজিত করে তুলবেন| কারণ তিনি বাবিলকে ধ্বংস করতে চান| বাবিলের লোকদের প্রভু তাদের পাওনা শাস্তি দেবেন| জেরুশালেমে প্রভুর উপাসনাগৃহগুলি ধ্বংস করেছিল বাবিল| এর জন্য য়ে শাস্তি তাদের পাওয়া উচিত্‌ প্রভু তাই দেবেন|

ERVEN : Sharpen the arrows! Get your shields! The Lord has stirred up the kings of the Medes, because he wants to destroy Babylon. The army from Babylon destroyed his Temple in Jerusalem, so he will give them the punishment they deserve.

BNV : বাবিলের প্রাচীরগুলির বিরুদ্ধে একটি ধ্বজা তোল| আরও রক্ষী আনো| নজরদার নিয়োগ করো| তৈরী হও গোপন আক্রমণের জন্য| প্রভু নিজের পরিকল্পনা মত কাজ করে যাবেন| বাবিলের লোকদের বিরুদ্ধে তিনি তাঁর কথা মত সবকিছুই করবেন|

BNV : বাবিল তুমি গভীর জলের কাছে বাস করো| কোষাধ্যক্ষদের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তুমিও ধনী| তোমার সমাপ্তি সমাগত| এটাই তোমার ধ্বংসের সময়|
KJV : O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, [and] the measure of thy covetousness.

BNV : প্রভু সর্বশক্তিমান এই প্রতিশ্রুতির সময় তাঁর নাম ব্যবহার করেছিলেন: “বাবিল আমি তোমাকে বহু শএু সৈন্য দিয়ে ভরে দেব| তারা দ্রুত শস্য বিনাশকারী কীটেদের মতো হবে| তারা তোমার বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ জয় করবে এবং তোমার ওপর দাঁড়িয়ে বিজয় উল্লাস করবে|”
KJV : The LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself, [saying,] Surely I will fill thee with men, as with caterpillers; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.
YLT : Sworn hath Jehovah of Hosts by Himself, That, Surely I have filled thee [with] men as the cankerworm, And they have cried against thee -- shouting.

ERVEN : The Lord All-Powerful used his name to make this promise: "Babylon, I will fill you with so many enemy soldiers they will be like clouds of locusts. They will win their war against you. They will stand over you shouting their victory cry."

BNV : প্রভু তাঁর মহান ক্ষমতাবলে পৃথিবীর সৃষ্টি করেছেন| এই বিশ্ব গড়তে তিনি তাঁর জ্ঞানকে ব্যবহার করেছিলেন| আকাশকে বিস্তৃত করতে তাঁর নিজের বুদ্ধি ব্যবহার করেছেন|

BNV : যখন তিনি বজ্র নির্ঘোষ করেন, আকাশের জল গর্জন করে ওঠে| তিনিই পৃথিবীর ওপরে মেঘ পাঠান| তিনি বৃষ্টির সঙ্গে বিদ্য়ুতের ঝলকানি পাঠান| তিনিই তাঁর গুদাম থেকে এনে দেন বাতাস|
KJV : When he uttereth [his] voice, [there is] a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
YLT : At the voice He giveth forth, A multitude of waters [are] in the heavens, And He causeth vapours to come up from the end of the earth, Lightnings for rain He hath made, And He bringeth out wind from His treasures.

BNV : কিন্তু মানুষ এতই বোকা য়ে তারা বুঝতে পারে না ঈশ্বর কি করেছেন| দক্ষ কারিগররা ভ্রান্ত দেবতার মূর্ত্তি বানায়| সেই মূর্ত্তি একমাত্র ভ্রান্ত দেবতারই| সেগুলি য়ে করেছে সেই কারিগরের বোকামি তারা দেখিয়ে দেয়| সেই মূর্ত্তি জীবন্ত নয়|
KJV : Every man is brutish by [his] knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image [is] falsehood, and [there is] no breath in them.
YLT : Brutish hath been every man by knowledge, Put to shame hath been every refiner by a graven image, For false [is] his molten image, And there is no breath in them.

ERVEN : But people are so stupid. They don't understand what God has done. Skilled workers make statues of false gods. Those statues are only false gods. They show how foolish those workers are. Those statues are not alive.

BNV : সেই মূর্ত্তিগুলি মূল্যহীন| যারা বানিয়েছে তারা নিজেরাই হাসির খোরাক হয়েছে| তাদের বিচারের সময় আসবে এবং মূর্ত্তিগুলি ধ্বংস হবে|

ERVEN : Those idols are worthless. People made them, and they are nothing but a joke. Their time of judgment will come, and those idols will be destroyed.

ERVEN : Babylon did terrible things to hurt us. Now I want those things to happen to Babylon." The people living in Zion said, "The people of Babylon are guilty of killing our people. Now they are being punished for the bad things they did." That's what the city of Jerusalem said.
