BNV : পলেষ্টীয়দের সম্বন্ধে ভাব্বাদী যিরমিয়র কাছে প্রভুর বার্তা এসেছিল| ফরৌণ ঘসা শহর আক্রমণের আগে এই বার্তা এসেছিল|
KJV : The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote Gaza.
YLT : That which hath been the word of Jehovah unto Jeremiah concerning the Philistines, before Pharaoh smiteth Gaza:
RV : The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote Gaza.
RSV : The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the Philistines, before Pharaoh smote Gaza.

BNV : প্রভু বলেছেন: “দেখ, শএুপক্ষের সেনারা উত্তরে একত্রিত হচ্ছে| তারা এগিয়ে আসছে কূলছাপানো প্রবল নদীর মতো| ঐ সৈন্যদল সমগ্র দেশটিকে এবং তার সমস্ত শহরগুলোকে এক শক্তিশালী বন্যার মত ঢেকে দেবে| সমস্ত শহরের এবং গোটা দেশের মানুষ সাহায্যের জন্য চিত্কার করে উঠবে|
KJV : Thus saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl.
YLT : `Thus said Jehovah: Lo, waters are coming up from the north, And have been for an overflowing stream, And they overflow the land and its fulness, The city, and the inhabitants in it, And men have cried out, And howled hath every inhabitant of the land.
RV : Thus saith the LORD: Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall become an overflowing stream, and shall overflow the land and all that is therein, the city and them that dwell therein: and the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl.
RSV : "Thus says the LORD: Behold, waters are rising out of the north, and shall become an overflowing torrent; they shall overflow the land and all that fills it, the city and those who dwell in it. Men shall cry out, and every inhabitant of the land shall wail.
ASV : Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall become an overflowing stream, and shall overflow the land and all that is therein, the city and them that dwell therein; and the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall wail.
ESV : "Thus says the LORD: Behold, waters are rising out of the north, and shall become an overflowing torrent; they shall overflow the land and all that fills it, the city and those who dwell in it. Men shall cry out, and every inhabitant of the land shall wail.
ERVEN : This is what the Lord says: "Look, the enemy is gathering in the north like rising waters. They will come like a river spilling over its banks. They will cover the whole country like a flood. They will cover the towns and the people living in them. Everyone living in the country will cry for help. They will all cry out in pain.

BNV : “তারা শুনতে পাবে ছুটন্ত ঘোড়ার ক্ষুরের শব্দ| শুনতে পাবে তীব্র গতিতে ছুটে আসা রথের চাকার শব্দ| পিতারা তাদের সন্তানদের রক্ষা করতে পারবে না| তারা এত দুর্বল হয়ে পড়বে য়ে সাহায্য করার শক্তিও তাদের মধ্যে অবশিষ্ট থাকবে না|
KJV : At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong [horses,] at the rushing of his chariots, [and at] the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look back to [their] children for feebleness of hands;
YLT : From the sound of the stamping of the hoofs of his mighty ones, From the rushing of his chariot, the noise of his wheels, Fathers have not turned unto sons, From feebleness of hands,
RV : At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong ones, at the rushing of his chariots, at the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers look not back to their children for feebleness of hands;
RSV : At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his stallions, at the rushing of his chariots, at the rumbling of their wheels, the fathers look not back to their children, so feeble are their hands,

ERVEN : They will hear the sound of running horses, the noisy chariots, the rumbling wheels. Fathers will not be able to protect their children. They will be too weak to help,

BNV : “পলেষ্টীয় লোকদের ধ্বংসের সময় আসছে| যারা সোর ও সীদোনের লোকদের সাহায্য করেছিল তাদের ধ্বংসের সময় আসছে| শীঘ্রই প্রভু পলেষ্টীয় লোকদের ধ্বংস করবেন| তিনি ধ্বংস করবেন কপ্তোর দ্বীপের জীবিত অবশিষ্ট লোকদেরও|
KJV : Because of the day that cometh to spoil all the Philistines, [and] to cut off from Tyrus and Zidon every helper that remaineth: for the LORD will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Caphtor.
YLT : Because of the day that hath come to spoil all the Philistines, To cut off to Tyre and to Zidon every helping remnant. For Jehovah is spoiling the Philistines, The remnant of the isle of Caphtor.
RV : because of the day that cometh to spoil all the Philistines, to cut off from Tyre and Zidon every helper that remaineth: for the LORD will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the isle of Caphtor.
RSV : because of the day that is coming to destroy all the Philistines, to cut off from Tyre and Sidon every helper that remains. For the LORD is destroying the Philistines, the remnant of the coastland of Caphtor.

ERVEN : because the time has come to destroy all the Philistines. The time has come to destroy Tyre and Sidon's remaining helpers. The Lord will destroy the Philistines. He will destroy the survivors from the Island of Crete.

BNV : ঘসার লোকরা তাদের মাথা কামাবে এবং শোক প্রকাশ করবে| অস্কিলোনের লোকরা চুপ করে থাকবে| উপত্যকায় বেঁচে যাওয়া লোকরা, তোমরা আর কত দিন নিজেদের আহত করবে?
KJV : Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off [with] the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?
YLT : Come hath baldness unto Gaza, Cut off hath been Ashkelon, O remnant of their valley, Till when dost thou cut thyself?
RV : Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is brought to nought, the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?
RSV : Baldness has come upon Gaza, Ashkelon has perished. O remnant of the Anakim, how long will you gash yourselves?
ASV : Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is brought to nought, the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?
ESV : Baldness has come upon Gaza; Ashkelon has perished. O remnant of their valley, how long will you gash yourselves?
ERVEN : The people from Gaza will be sad and shave their heads. The people from Ashkelon will be silenced. Survivors from the valley, how long will you cut yourselves?

BNV : “প্রভুর তরবারি, তুমি এখনো ফিরে যাওনি| আর কতদিন এই ভাবে যুদ্ধ করে যাবে? যাও এবার তোমার খাপে ফিরে যাও এবং স্থির হও|
KJV : O thou sword of the LORD, how long [will it be] ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still.
YLT : Ho, sword of Jehovah, till when art thou not quiet? Be removed unto thy sheath, rest and cease.
RV : O thou sword of the LORD, how long will it be ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard; rest, and be still.
RSV : Ah, sword of the LORD! How long till you are quiet? Put yourself into your scabbard, rest and be still!

ERVEN : "Sword of the Lord, you have not stopped. How long will you keep fighting? Go back into your scabbard! Stop! Be still!

BNV : হে প্রভুর তরবারি, কি করে তুমি প্রভুর আদেশ অগ্রাহ্য করতে পারো এবং তোমার খাপে ফিরে গিয়ে বিশ্রাম নিতে পারো? প্রভুই তাঁর তরবারিকে আদেশ দিয়েছেন অস্কিলোন শহর এবং সমুদ্র উপকূলবর্তী অঞ্চলকে আক্রমণ করার জন্য|”
KJV : How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there hath he appointed it.
YLT : How shall it be quiet, And Jehovah hath given a charge to it, Against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? There hath He appointed it!`
RV : How canst thou be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given thee a charge? against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore, there hath he appointed it.
