BNV : যিহূদার রাজা য়োশিযের পুত্র যিহোয়াকীম যখন তার রাজত্বকালের চতুর্থ বছরে পা দিয়েছে তখন প্রভুর এই বার্তা যিরমিয়র কাছে এসেছিল| এই হল প্রভুর বার্তা:
KJV : And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, [that] this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
YLT : And it cometh to pass, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, this word hath been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying:

ERVEN : The message from the Lord came to Jeremiah. This was during the fourth year that Jehoiakim son of Josiah was king of Judah. This was the message from the Lord:

BNV : “যিরমিয়, আমি তোমাকে য়ে সমস্ত বাণী শুনিয়েছি তা সব একটি পাকানো পুঁথিতে লিখে রাখো| যিহূদা, ইস্রায়েল এবং অন্যান্য দেশগুলি সম্বন্ধে যা যা বলেছি তাও লিখে রাখো| য়োশিযের রাজত্বকাল থেকে আজ পর্য়ন্ত য়ে কথা বলেছি তার সব অক্ষরে অক্ষরে লিখে রাখো তোমার খাতায়|
KJV : Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even into this day.
YLT : `Take to thee a roll of a book, and thou hast written on it all the words that I have spoken unto thee concerning Israel, and concerning Judah, and concerning all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day;
RV : Take thee a roll of a book, and write thereon all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.
RSV : "Take a scroll and write on it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel and Judah and all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah until today.

ESV : "Take a scroll and write on it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel and Judah and all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah until today.
ERVEN : "Jeremiah, get a scroll and write on it all the messages I have spoken to you. I have spoken to you about the nations of Israel and Judah and all the other nations. Write all the words that I have spoken to you from the time that Josiah was king, until now.

BNV : যিহূদার পরিবারের জন্য আমি য়ে সমস্ত বাজে জিনিষের পরিকল্পনা করেছি তা হয়তো তারা জানতে পারবে এবং হয়তো তারা খারাপ কাজ করা বন্ধ করবে| যদি তারা তাই করে তাহলে আমি তাদের ক্ষমা করব| ক্ষমা করে দেব তাদের সমস্ত পাপ|”
KJV : It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
YLT : if so be the house of Israel do hear all the evil that I am thinking of doing to them, so that they turn back each from is evil way, and I have been propitious to their iniquity, and to their sin.`
RV : It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
RSV : It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I intend to do to them, so that every one may turn from his evil way, and that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin."
ASV : It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
ESV : It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the disaster that I intend to do to them, so that every one may turn from his evil way, and that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin."
ERVEN : Maybe the people of Judah will hear what I am planning to do to them and will stop doing bad things. If they will do that, I will forgive them for the bad sins they have committed."

BNV : তাই যিরমিয় বারূককে ডাকল| বারূক ছিল নেরিযের পুত্র| যিরমিয় প্রভুর বার্তা বলছিল| যিরমিয় যখন সেই বার্তাগুলি বলছিল তখন বারূক তা খাতায় লিখে নিচ্ছিল|
KJV : Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.
YLT : And Jeremiah calleth Baruch son of Neriah, and Baruch writeth from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of Jehovah, that He hath spoken unto him, on a roll of a book.
RV : Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah; and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.
RSV : Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote upon a scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD which he had spoken to him.

ESV : Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote on a scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD that he had spoken to him.
ERVEN : So Jeremiah called a man named Baruch son of Neriah. Jeremiah spoke the messages the Lord had given him. While he spoke, Baruch wrote the messages on the scroll.

BNV : তখন যিরমিয় বারূককে বলেছিল, “আমি প্রভুর উপাসনা গৃহে য়েতে পারব না| আমার সেখানে যাওয়া নিষেধ|
KJV : And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I [am] shut up; I cannot go into the house of the LORD:
YLT : And Jeremiah commandeth Baruch, saying, `I am restrained, I am not able to enter the house of Jehovah;
RV : And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of the LORD:
RSV : And Jeremiah ordered Baruch, saying, "I am debarred from going to the house of the LORD;
ASV : And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of Jehovah:
ESV : And Jeremiah ordered Baruch, saying, "I am banned from going to the house of the LORD,
ERVEN : Then Jeremiah said to Baruch, "I cannot go to the Lord's Temple. I am not allowed to go there.

BNV : তাই আমি চাই তুমি প্রভুর উপাসনা গৃহে যাও| সেখানে একটি উপবাসের দিন যাও এবং এই পুঁথি থেকে প্রভুর কথাগুলি লোকেদের পড়ে শোনাও| আমি যা বলেছি তুমি তা লিখেছো এগুলো সবই প্রভুর বার্তা| যাও গিয়ে যিহূদার বিভিন্ন শহর থেকে জেরুশালেমে আসা সমস্ত লোককে এই বার্তা খাতা থেকে পাঠ করে শোনাও|
KJV : Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD’S house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.
YLT : but thou hast entered -- and thou hast read in the roll that thou hast written from my mouth, the words of Jehovah, in the ears of the people, in the house of Jehovah, in the day of the fast, and also in the ears of all Judah who are coming in from their cities thou dost read them;
RV : therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD-S house upon the fast day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.
RSV : so you are to go, and on a fast day in the hearing of all the people in the LORD's house you shall read the words of the LORD from the scroll which you have written at my dictation. You shall read them also in the hearing of all the men of Judah who come out of their cities.
ASV : therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of Jehovah in the ears of the people in Jehovahs house upon the fast-day; and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.
ESV : so you are to go, and on a day of fasting in the hearing of all the people in the LORD's house you shall read the words of the LORD from the scroll that you have written at my dictation. You shall read them also in the hearing of all the men of Judah who come out of their cities.
ERVEN : So I want you to go to the Temple of the Lord. Go there on a day of fasting and read to the people from the scroll. Read to the people the messages from the Lord that you wrote on the scroll as I spoke them to you. Read them to all the people of Judah who come into Jerusalem from the towns where they live.

BNV : হয়তো লোকরা প্রভুর কাছে এসে সাহায্য চাইবে| হয়তো তারা তাদের অসত্‌ কাজগুলি করা বন্ধ করবে| প্রভু আগেই ঘোষণা করেছিলেন য়ে তিনি তাদের ওপর প্রচণ্ড রুদ্ধ হয়ে আছেন|”
KJV : It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and will return every one from his evil way: for great [is] the anger and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced against this people.
YLT : if so be their supplication doth fall before Jehovah, and they turn back each from his evil way, for great [is] the anger and the fury that Jehovah hath spoken concerning this people.`
RV : It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced against this people.
RSV : It may be that their supplication will come before the LORD, and that every one will turn from his evil way, for great is the anger and wrath that the LORD has pronounced against this people."
ASV : It may be they will present their supplication before Jehovah, and will return every one from his evil way; for great is the anger and the wrath that Jehovah hath pronounced against this people.
ESV : It may be that their plea for mercy will come before the LORD, and that every one will turn from his evil way, for great is the anger and wrath that the LORD has pronounced against this people."
ERVEN : Perhaps they will ask the Lord to help them. Perhaps each person will stop doing bad things. The Lord has announced that he is very angry with them."

BNV : সুতরাং বারূক তাই করল যা তাকে ভাব্বাদী যিরমিয় করতে বলেছিল| সুরূক প্রভুর উপাসনাগৃহে খাতায় লিপিবদ্ধ করা প্রভুর বার্তা উচ্চস্বরে পাঠ করতে লাগল|
KJV : And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD’S house.
YLT : And Baruch son of Neriah doth according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, to read in the book the words of Jehovah in the house of Jehovah.
RV : And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD-S house.
RSV : And Baruch the son of Neriah did all that Jeremiah the prophet ordered him about reading from the scroll the words of the LORD in the LORD's house.

ERVEN : So Baruch son of Neriah did everything Jeremiah the prophet told him to do. Baruch read aloud the scroll that had the Lord's messages written on it. He read it in the Lord's Temple.

BNV : যিহোয়াকীমের রাজত্বকালের পঞ্চম বছরের নবম মাসে উপবাসের একটি দিন ঘোষিত হয়েছিল| জেরুশালেমের নাগরিক এবং যিহূদার সমস্ত শহর থেকে জেরুশালেম শহরে আসা প্রত্যেক লোককে প্রভুর সামনে উপবাস করতে হবে|
KJV : And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, [that] they proclaimed a fast before the LORD to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem.
YLT : And it cometh to pass, in the fifth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, proclaimed a fast before Jehovah have all the people in Jerusalem, and all the people who are coming in from cities of Judah to Jerusalem;
RV : Now it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, that all the people in Jerusalem, and all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem, proclaimed a fast before the LORD.
RSV : In the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, all the people in Jerusalem and all the people who came from the cities of Judah to Jerusalem proclaimed a fast before the LORD.

ESV : In the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, all the people in Jerusalem and all the people who came from the cities of Judah to Jerusalem proclaimed a fast before the LORD.
ERVEN : In the ninth month of the fifth year that Jehoiakim was king, a fast was announced. All those who lived in the city of Jerusalem and everyone who had come into Jerusalem from the towns of Judah were supposed to fast before the Lord.

BNV : সে সময় বারূক খাতায় লেখা যিরমিয়র মুখ থেকে উচ্চারিত প্রভুর বার্তা পড়ে শোনাচ্ছিল উপাসনা গৃহে উপস্থিত লোকেদের| বারূক তখন থাকতো গমরিযের ঘরে| ঘরটি ছিল উপাসনাগৃহের নতুন ফটকের কাছে| গমরিযের পিতা ছিল শাফন| গমরিয উপাসনাগৃহের লিপিকার ছিল|
KJV : Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher court, at the entry of the new gate of the LORD’S house, in the ears of all the people.
YLT : and Baruch readeth in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of Jehovah, in the chamber of Gemariah son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher court, at the opening of the new gate of the house of Jehovah, in the ears of all the people.
RV : Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the upper court, at the entry of the new gate of the LORD-S house, in the ears of all the people.
RSV : Then, in the hearing of all the people, Baruch read the words of Jeremiah from the scroll, in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the secretary, which was in the upper court, at the entry of the New Gate of the LORD's house.
ASV : Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of Jehovah, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan, the scribe, in the upper court, at the entry of the new gate of Jehovahs house, in the ears of all the people.
ESV : Then, in the hearing of all the people, Baruch read the words of Jeremiah from the scroll, in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the secretary, which was in the upper court, at the entry of the New Gate of the LORD's house.
ERVEN : At that time Baruch read the scroll that contained Jeremiah's words. He read the scroll in the Temple of the Lord to all the people who were there. Baruch was in the room of Gemariah in the upper courtyard when he read from the scroll. That room was located at the entrance of the New Gate of the Temple. Gemariah was the son of Shaphan. Gemariah was a scribe in the Temple.

BNV : বারূক যখন পড়ছিল তখন গমরিযের পুত্র মীখায় শুনছিল| গমরিয ছিল শাফনের পুত্র|
KJV : When Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out of the book all the words of the LORD,
YLT : And Michaiah son of Gemariah, son of Shaphan, heareth all the words of Jehovah from off the book,
RV : And when Micaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out of the book all the words of the LORD,
RSV : When Micaiah the son of Gemariah, son of Shaphan, heard all the words of the LORD from the scroll,
ASV : And when Micaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out of the book all the words of Jehovah,
ESV : When Micaiah the son of Gemariah, son of Shaphan, heard all the words of the LORD from the scroll,
ERVEN : A man named Micaiah heard all the messages from the Lord that Baruch read from the scroll. Micaiah was the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan.

BNV : মীখায় যখন পুঁথির সব বার্তা শুনল, তখন সে রাজপ্রাসাদের সচিবের ঘরে গেল| সেই ঘরে তখন রাজপরিবারের সমস্ত সভাসদরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন| উপস্থিত সভাসদদের নামগুলি হল: রাজার আপ্ত সহায়ক ইলীশামা, শময়িয়ের পুত্র দলায, অক্বোরের পুত্র ইল্নাথন, শাফনের পুত্র গমরিয, হনানিয়ের পুত্র সিদিকিয় এবং অন্যান্য রাজসভার সভাসদরাও সেই ঘরে উপস্থিত ছিলেন|
KJV : Then he went down into the king’s house, into the scribe’s chamber: and, lo, all the princes sat there, [even] Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.
YLT : and he goeth down [to] the house of the king, unto the chamber of the scribe, and lo, there are all the heads sitting: Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan son of Acbor, and Gemariah son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah son of Hananiah, and all the heads.
RV : he went down into the king-s house, into the scribe-s chamber: and, lo, all the princes sat there, even Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.

ASV : he went down into the kings house, into the scribes chamber: and, lo, all the princes were sitting there, to wit, Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.
ESV : he went down to the king's house, into the secretary's chamber, and all the officials were sitting there: Elishama the secretary, Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, Elnathan the son of Achbor, Gemariah the son of Shaphan, Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the officials.
ERVEN : When Micaiah heard the messages from the scroll, he went down to the secretary's room in the king's palace. All the royal officials were sitting there in the king's palace. These are the names of the officials: Elishama the secretary, Delaiah son of Shemaiah, Elnathan son of Acbor, Gemariah son of Shaphan, Zedekiah son of Hananiah; all the other royal officials were there too.

BNV : পুঁথি থেকে বারূক যা কিছু পড়ে শুনিয়েছিল তা সব মীখায় গিয়ে সভাপারিষদদের বলেছিল|
KJV : Then Michaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.
YLT : And declare to them doth Micaiah all the words that he hath heard, when Baruch readeth in the book in the ears of the people;
RV : Then Micaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.
RSV : And Micaiah told them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the scroll in the hearing of the people.

ERVEN : Micaiah told them everything he had heard Baruch read from the scroll.

BNV : তখন সেই সভাসদরা বারূকের কাছে যিহূদীকে পাঠাল| যিহূদী ছিল নথনিয়ের পুত্র এবং শেলিমিযের পৌত্র| শেলিমিযের পিতার নাম ছিল কূশি| যিহূদী বারূককে বলেছিল: “তুমি য়ে খাতাটি পাঠ করেছিলে সেই খাতাটি নিয়ে আমার সঙ্গে চলো|”বারূক সেই খাতা সঙ্গে নিয়ে যিহূদীর সঙ্গে সভাপরিষদদের কাছে গেল|
KJV : Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
YLT : and all the heads send unto Baruch, Jehudi son of Nethaniah, son of Shelemiah, son of Cushi, saying, `The roll in which thou hast read in the ears of the people take in thy hand, and come.` And Baruch son of Neriah taketh the roll in his hand and cometh in unto them,
RV : Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
RSV : Then all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, son of Shelemiah, son of Cushi, to say to Baruch, "Take in your hand the scroll that you read in the hearing of the people, and come." So Baruch the son of Neriah took the scroll in his hand and came to them.
ASV : Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thy hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
ESV : Then all the officials sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, son of Shelemiah, son of Cushi, to say to Baruch, "Take in your hand the scroll that you read in the hearing of the people, and come." So Baruch the son of Neriah took the scroll in his hand and came to them.
ERVEN : Then all the officials sent a man named Jehudi to Baruch. (Jehudi was the son of Nethaniah, son of Shelemiah. Shelemiah was the son of Cushi.) Jehudi said to Baruch, "Bring the scroll that you read from and come with me." Baruch son of Neriah took the scroll and went with Jehudi to the officials.

BNV : রাজার সেই সভাষদরা বারূককে বললেন, “এখানে বসো এবং পুঁথিতে লেখা বাণীগুলি পড়ে শোনাও|”সুতরাং বারূক খাতায় লেখা বাণীগুলি পাঠ করতে শুরু করল|
KJV : And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. So Baruch read [it] in their ears.
YLT : and they say unto him, `Sit down, we pray thee, and read it in our ears,` and Baruch readeth in their ears,
RV : And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. So Baruch read it in their ears.
RSV : And they said to him, "Sit down and read it." So Baruch read it to them.

ERVEN : Then the officials said to Baruch, "Sit down and read the scroll to us." So Baruch read the scroll to them.

BNV : রাজার সভাসুরা সমস্ত বাণীগুলি শুনলেন এবং তারপর তারা ভয়ে একে অন্যের দিকে তাকালেন| তাঁরা বারূককে বললেন, “রাজা যিহোয়াকীমকে আমাদের এই খাতার সম্বন্ধে জানানো উচিত্‌|”
KJV : Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words.
YLT : and it cometh to pass, when they hear all the words, they have been afraid one at another, and say unto Baruch, `We do surely declare to the king all these words.`

ERVEN : Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to Baruch son of Neriah, the scribe. As Jeremiah spoke, Baruch wrote on the scroll the same messages that were on the scroll that King Jehoiakim had burned in the fire. And many other words like those messages were added to the second scroll.
