BNV : প্রভুর বার্তা এলো যিরমিয়র কাছে| বাবিলের রাজা নবূখদ্রিত্‌সর যখন জেরুশালেম এবং তার চারপাশের সমস্ত শহরগুলির বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করছিল তখন প্রভুর বার্তা যিরমিয়র কাছে এসেছিল| নবূখদ্রিত্‌সরের সঙ্গে ছিল তার সমস্ত সৈন্য এবং তার সাম্রাজ্য| তার শাসনাধীন সমস্ত রাজ্যের সৈন্যসমূহ এবং লোকরা|
KJV : The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,
YLT : The word that hath been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah -- and Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his force, and all kingdoms of the land of the dominion of his hand, and all the peoples are fighting against Jerusalem, and against all its cities -- saying:

ESV : The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army and all the kingdoms of the earth under his dominion and all the peoples were fighting against Jerusalem and all of its cities:
ERVEN : The message from the Lord came to Jeremiah. The message came at the time when King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was fighting against Jerusalem and all the towns around it. Nebuchadnezzar had with him all his army and the armies of all the kingdoms and peoples in the empire he ruled.

BNV : এই হল বার্তা: “প্রভু ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর বলেছেন: যিরমিয় যিহূদার রাজা সিদিকিয়কে গিয়ে তাকে এই বার্তা দাও: ‘সিদিকিয়, প্রভু যা বলেছেন তা হল: আমি খুব শীঘ্রই বাবিলের রাজাকে জেরুশালেম দিয়ে দেব| এবং সে জেরুশালেমকে পুড়িয়ে দেবে|
KJV : Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:
YLT : `Thus said Jehovah, God of Israel: Go, and thou hast spoken unto Zedekiah king of Judah, and hast said unto him, Thus said Jehovah: Lo, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he hath burned it with fire,

ESV : "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah and say to him, 'Thus says the LORD: Behold, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.
ERVEN : This was the message: "This is what the Lord, the God of the people of Israel, says: Jeremiah, go to King Zedekiah of Judah and give him this message: 'Zedekiah, this is what the Lord says: I will give the city of Jerusalem to the king of Babylon very soon, and he will burn it down.

BNV : সিদিকিয়, তুমি পালাতে পারবে না, ধরা পড়বেই| তোমাকেও বাবিলের রাজার হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হবে| তুমি বাবিলের রাজাকে স্বচক্ষে দেখতে পাবে| রাজার সঙ্গে তোমার মুখোমুখি কথা হবে এবং তোমাকে বাবিলে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে|
KJV : And thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.
YLT : and thou, thou dost not escape out of his hand, for thou art certainly caught, and into his hand thou art given, and thine eyes see the eyes of the king of Babylon, and his mouth with thy mouth speaketh, and Babylon thou enterest.
RV : and thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.
RSV : You shall not escape from his hand, but shall surely be captured and delivered into his hand; you shall see the king of Babylon eye to eye and speak with him face to face; and you shall go to Babylon.'
ASV : and thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.
ESV : You shall not escape from his hand but shall surely be captured and delivered into his hand. You shall see the king of Babylon eye to eye and speak with him face to face. And you shall go to Babylon.'
ERVEN : Zedekiah, you will not escape from the king of Babylon. You will surely be caught and given to him. You will see the king of Babylon with your own eyes. He will talk to you face to face, and you will go to Babylon.

BNV : কিন্তু যিহূদার রাজা সিদিকিয়, প্রভুর প্রতিশ্রুতি শোন| প্রভু তোমার সম্বন্ধে এই কথা বলেছেন: তোমার মৃত্যু তরবারির আঘাতে হবে না|
KJV : Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword:
YLT : `Only, hear a word of Jehovah, O Zedekiah king of Judah, Thus said Jehovah unto thee: Thou dost not die by sword,
RV : Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah: thus saith the LORD concerning thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword;
RSV : Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah! Thus says the LORD concerning you: `You shall not die by the sword.
ASV : Yet hear the word of Jehovah, O Zedekiah king of Judah: thus saith Jehovah concerning thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword;
ESV : Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah! Thus says the LORD concerning you: 'You shall not die by the sword.
ERVEN : But listen to the promise of the Lord, King Zedekiah of Judah. This is what the Lord says about you: You will not be killed with a sword.

BNV : তোমার মৃত্যু হবে শান্তিতে| অতীতে অন্ত্য়োষ্টি এযিা যাত্রার সময় তোমার পূর্বপুরুষদের জন্য, তোমার পূর্বে য়ে রাজা শাসন করেছিল তাদের য়ে ভাবে লোকে সম্মান দেখিয়েছিল, একই ভাবে তারাও তোমার অন্ত্য়োষ্টি এযিায তোমাকে সম্মান জানাবে| তারা তোমার জন্য চোখের জল ফেলবে এবং বিষন্নভাবে বলবে, “হে মনিব!” আমি নিজে আপনার কাছে প্রতিশ্রুতি করছি|”‘ এই হল প্রভুর বার্তা|
KJV : [But] thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn [odours] for thee; and they will lament thee, [saying,] Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.
YLT : in peace thou diest, and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings who have been before thee, so they make a burning for thee; and Ah, lord, they lament for thee, for the word I have spoken -- an affirmation of Jehovah.`
RV : thou shalt die in peace; and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they make a burning for thee; and they shall lament thee, {cf15i saying}, Ah lord! for I have spoken the word, saith the LORD.
RSV : You shall die in peace. And as spices were burned for your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so men shall burn spices for you and lament for you, saying, "Alas, lord!"' For I have spoken the word, says the LORD."
ASV : thou shalt die in peace; and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings that were before thee, so shall they make a burning for thee; and they shall lament thee, saying, Ah Lord! for I have spoken the word, saith Jehovah.
ESV : You shall die in peace. And as spices were burned for your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so people shall burn spices for you and lament for you, saying, "Alas, lord!"'For I have spoken the word, declares the LORD."
ERVEN : You will die in a peaceful way. People made funeral fires to honor your ancestors, the kings who ruled before you became king. In the same way people will make a funeral fire to honor you. They will cry for you and sadly say, "Oh, my master!" I myself make this promise to you.'" This message is from the Lord.

BNV : বছর পর তাকে তুমি মুক্তি দিয়ে দেবে|’ কিন্তু তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা আমার কথা শোনেনি|
KJV : Then Jeremiah the prophet spake all these words unto Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,

ERVEN : So Jeremiah gave the message from the Lord to Zedekiah in Jerusalem.

BNV : বছর পর প্রত্যেককে তার ইব্রীয দাসকে মুক্তি দিতে হবে| কোন ইব্রীয যদি নিজেকে তোমার কাছে বিক্রিও করে দেয় তাহলেও
KJV : When the king of Babylon’s army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.
YLT : and the forces of the king of Babylon are fighting against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that are left -- against Lachish, and against Azekah, for these have been left among the cities of Judah, cities of fortresses.
RV : when the king of Babylon-s army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish and against Azekah; for these {cf15i alone} remained of the cities of Judah {cf15i as} fenced cities.
RSV : when the army of the king of Babylon was fighting against Jerusalem and against all the cities of Judah that were left, Lachish and Azekah; for these were the only fortified cities of Judah that remained.
ASV : when the king of Babylons army was fighting against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish and against Azekah; for these alone remained of the cities of Judah as fortified cities.
ESV : when the army of the king of Babylon was fighting against Jerusalem and against all the cities of Judah that were left, Lachish and Azekah, for these were the only fortified cities of Judah that remained.
ERVEN : This was while the army of the king of Babylon was fighting against Jerusalem. The army of Babylon was also fighting against the cities of Judah that had not been captured. These cities were Lachish and Azekah. These were the only fortified cities left in the land of Judah.

BNV : ইব্রীয দাসদের মুক্তির জন্য রাজা সিদিকিয় জেরুশালেমের লোকেদের সঙ্গে একটি চুক্তি করেছিল| সিদিকিয় চুক্তি করবার পর যিরমিয়র কাছে ঈশ্বরের কাছ থেকে একটি বার্তা এসেছিল|
KJV : [This is] the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which [were] at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;
YLT : The word that hath been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, after the making by the king Zedekiah of a covenant with all the people who [are] in Jerusalem, to proclaim to them liberty,
RV : The word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;

ESV : The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after King Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people in Jerusalem to make a proclamation of liberty to them,
ERVEN : King Zedekiah had made an agreement with all the people in Jerusalem to give freedom to all the Hebrew slaves. A message from the Lord came to Jeremiah after Zedekiah had made that agreement.

BNV : প্রত্যেকেই তার ইব্রীয দাসকে মুক্তি দেবে| স্ত্রী ও পুরুষ ইব্রীয দাস দাসীরা দাসত্ব থেকে মুক্তি পাবে| কেউ যিহূদা পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর কাউকে দাসত্বের শৃঙ্খল পরাতে পারেনি|
KJV : That every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant, [being] an Hebrew or an Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of them, [to wit,] of a Jew his brother.
YLT : to send out each his man-servant, and each his maid-servant -- the Hebrew and the Hebrewess -- free, so as not to lay service on them, any on a Jew his brother;
RV : that every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant, being an Hebrew or an Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of them, {cf15i to wit}, of a Jew his brother:
RSV : that every one should set free his Hebrew slaves, male and female, so that no one should enslave a Jew, his brother.

ESV : that everyone should set free his Hebrew slaves, male and female, so that no one should enslave a Jew, his brother.
ERVEN : Everyone was supposed to free their Hebrew slaves. All male and female Hebrew slaves were to be set free. No one was supposed to keep another person from the tribe of Judah in slavery.

BNV : সুতরাং সমস্ত নেতৃবৃন্দ ও লোকরা এই চুক্তি গ্রহণ করেছিল| প্রত্যেকেই রাজী হয়েছিল তাদের দাসদের মুক্তি দেবার প্রশ্োন| এবং তাই প্রত্যেক দাসই স্বাধীন হয়ে গিয়েছিল|
KJV : Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let [them] go.
YLT : and hearken do all the heads, and all the people who have come in to the covenant to send forth each his man-servant and each his maid-servant free, so as not to lay service on them any more, yea, they hearken, and send them away;

ESV : And they obeyed, all the officials and all the people who had entered into the covenant that everyone would set free his slave, male or female, so that they would not be enslaved again. They obeyed and set them free.
ERVEN : So all the leaders of Judah and all the people accepted this agreement. They would free their male and female slaves so that they would no longer serve them. Everyone agreed, and so all the slaves were set free.

BNV : যিরমিয় প্রভু় ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর যা বলেছেন তা হল: “মিশর থেকে আমি তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের নিয়ে এসেছিলাম| তারাও সেখানে দাসত্ব করত| যখন আমি তাদের নিয়ে এসেছিলাম তখন আমি তাদের সঙ্গে একটি চুক্তি করেছিলাম|
KJV : Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,
YLT : `Thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, I -- I made a covenant with your fathers in the day of My bringing them forth from the land of Egypt, from a house of servants, saying,
RV : Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel: I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,

ESV : "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: I myself made a covenant with your fathers when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,
ERVEN : "This is what the Lord, the God of the people of Israel, says: I brought your ancestors out of the land of Egypt, where they were slaves. When I did that, I made an agreement with them.

BNV : আমি তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের বলেছিলাম: ‘প্রতি
KJV : At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.
YLT : At the end of seven years ye do send forth each his brother, the Hebrew, who is sold to thee, and hath served thee six years, yea, thou hast sent him forth free from thee: and your fathers hearkened not unto Me, nor inclined their ear.
RV : At the end of seven years ye shall let go every man his brother that is an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee, and hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.
RSV : `At the end of six years each of you must set free the fellow Hebrew who has been sold to you and has served you six years; you must set him free from your service.' But your fathers did not listen to me or incline their ears to me.
ASV : At the end of seven years ye shall let go every man his brother that is a Hebrew, that hath been sold unto thee, and hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.
ESV : 'At the end of seven years each of you must set free the fellow Hebrew who has been sold to you and has served you six years; you must set him free from your service.' But your fathers did not listen to me or incline their ears to me.
ERVEN : I said to your ancestors: 'At the end of every seven years, everyone must set their Hebrew slaves free. If you have fellow Hebrews who have sold themselves to you, you must let them go free after they have served you for six years.' But your ancestors didn't listen to me or pay attention to me.

BNV : কিছু দিন আগে তোমরা তোমাদের মন পরিবর্তন করেছিলে এবং আমার মতে, তোমরা ঠিক কাজ করেছিলে| তোমার ইব্রীয দাসদের মুক্ত করেছিল| এমন কি তোমরা মন্দিরেও এসেছিলে য়েটি আমার নামে নামাঙ্কিত এবং আমার সামনে একটি চুক্তি করেছিলে|
KJV : And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:
YLT : `And ye turn back, ye to-day, and ye do that which is right in Mine eyes, to proclaim liberty each to his neighbour, and ye make a covenant before Me in the house over which My name is called.
RV : And ye were now turned, and had done that which is right in mine eyes, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:
RSV : You recently repented and did what was right in my eyes by proclaiming liberty, each to his neighbor, and you made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name;
ASV : And ye were now turned, and had done that which is right in mine eyes, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbor; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:
ESV : You recently repented and did what was right in my eyes by proclaiming liberty, each to his neighbor, and you made a covenant before me in the house that is called by my name,
ERVEN : A short time ago you changed your hearts to do what is right. Everyone set free their fellow Hebrews who were slaves. And you even made an agreement before me in the Temple that is called by my name.

BNV : কিন্তু এখন আবার তোমরা তোমাদের মন পরিবর্তন করেছো এবং আমার নামকে অসম্মান করেছো| কি করে তোমরা এটা করলে? তোমরা আবার সেই সব ইব্রীয নারী পুরুষদের জোর করে ধরে এনে তোমাদের দাস করলে অথচ এদেরই কিছু দিন আগে তোমরা মুক্ত করে দিয়েছিলে|
KJV : But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom ye had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.
YLT : And -- ye turn back, and pollute My name, and ye cause each his man-servant and each his maid-servant, whom he had sent forth free, (at their pleasure,) to return, and ye subdue them to be to you for men-servants and for maid-servants.
RV : but ye turned and profaned my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom ye had let go free at their pleasure, to return; and ye brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.
RSV : but then you turned around and profaned my name when each of you took back his male and female slaves, whom you had set free according to their desire, and you brought them into subjection to be your slaves.

ESV : but then you turned around and profaned my name when each of you took back his male and female slaves, whom you had set free according to their desire, and you brought them into subjection to be your slaves.
ERVEN : But now you have changed your minds. You have shown you do not honor my name because each of you has taken back the male and female slaves that you had set free. You have forced them to become slaves again.

This is the message of the Lord. 'I will let "freedom" be killed by swords, by terrible sicknesses, and by hunger! I will make you become something that terrifies all the kingdoms of the earth, when they hear about you.
