BNV : “যাজকগণ, ইস্রায়েলীয়রা এবং রাজ-পরিবারের সদস্যরা, আমার কথা শোনো: বিচারে তোমরা দোষী সাব্যস্ত হয়েছ! তোমরা মিস্পার ফাঁদগুলোর মতো| তোমরা য়েন তাবোরে জমির উপর বিছিযে থাকা জালের মতো|
KJV : Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment [is] toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
YLT : `Hear this, O priests, and attend, O house of Israel, And, O house of the king, give ear, For the judgment [is] for you, For, a snare ye have been on Mizpah, And a net spread out on Tabor.
RV : Hear this, O ye priests, and hearken, ye house of Israel, and give ear, O house of the king, for unto you pertain the judgment; for ye have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
RSV : Hear this, O priests! Give heed, O house of Israel! Hearken, O house of the king! For the judgment pertains to you; for you have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

ESV : Hear this, O priests! Pay attention, O house of Israel! Give ear, O house of the king! For the judgment is for you; for you have been a snare at Mizpah and a net spread upon Tabor.
ERVEN : "Priests, nation of Israel, and people in the king's family, listen to me. You have been judged guilty! "You were like a trap at Mizpah and like a net spread on the ground at Tabor.

BNV : তোমরা অনেক অনেক খারাপ কাজ করেছ| সেজন্য আমি তোমাদের সবাইকে শাস্তি দেব!
KJV : And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I [have been] a rebuker of them all.
YLT : And to slaughter sinners have gone deep, And I [am] a fetter to them all.
RV : And the revolters are gone deep in making slaughter; but I am a rebuker of them all.
RSV : And they have made deep the pit of Shittim; but I will chastise all of them.
ASV : And the revolters are gone deep in making slaughter; but I am a rebuker of them all.
ESV : And the revolters have gone deep into slaughter, but I will discipline all of them.
ERVEN : You have done many evil things, so I will punish you all.

BNV : আমি ইফ্রয়িমকে জানি| ইস্রায়েল আমার কাছ থেকে লুকিয়ে থাকতে পারে না| ইফ্রয়িম, এখন তুমি ঠিক পতিতার মতো আচরণ কর| ইস্রায়েল তার পাপের জন্য অশুচি হয়ে গেছে|
KJV : I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, [and] Israel is defiled.
YLT : I have known Ephraim, And Israel hath not been hid from me, For now thou hast gone a-whoring, Ephraim, Defiled is Israel.

ERVEN : I know Ephraim. I know what Israel has done. Ephraim, right now you act like a prostitute. Israel is dirty with sin.

BNV : ইস্রায়েলবাসীরা বহু খারাপ কাজ করেছে এবং ওই খারাপ কাজগুলো তাদের ঈশ্বরের কাছে ফিরে যাওয়ার পক্ষে বাধা হয়ে গেছে| তারা সব সময় কি ভাবে অন্যান্য দেবতার পেছনে ছোটা যায় তার কথাই চিন্তা করে| তারা প্রভুকে জানে না|
KJV : They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms [is] in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.
YLT : They give not up their habitual doings, To turn back unto their God, For a spirit of whoredoms [is] in their midst, And Jehovah they have not known.
RV : Their doings will not suffer them to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredom is within them, and they know not the LORD.
RSV : Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God. For the spirit of harlotry is within them, and they know not the LORD.

ERVEN : The people of Israel have done many evil things, and these evil things keep them from coming back to their God. They are always thinking of ways to chase after other gods. They don't know the Lord.

BNV : ইস্রায়েলের অহঙ্কারই তাদের বিরুদ্ধে একটি সাক্ষী| ঐ ইস্রায়েল এবং ইফ্রয়িম তাদের পাপে হোঁচট খেযেছে| যিহূদাও তাদের সঙ্গে হোঁচট খেযেছে|
KJV : And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.
YLT : And humbled hath been the excellency of Israel to his face, And Israel and Ephraim stumble by their iniquity, Stumbled also hath Judah with them.

BNV : “জনসাধারণের নেতারা প্রভুর খোঁজে যাবে| তারা তাদের সঙ্গে ‘মেষ’ এবং ‘গরুগুলিকেও’ নেবে; কিন্তু তারা প্রভুকে খুঁজে পাবে না| কেন? কারণ তিনি তাদের ছেড়ে চলে গেছেন|
KJV : They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find [him;] he hath withdrawn himself from them.
YLT : With their flock and with their herd, They go to seek Jehovah, and do not find, He hath withdrawn from them.

ERVEN : "The leaders of the people went to look for the Lord. They took their 'sheep' and 'cows' with them, but they did not find the Lord because he refused to accept them.

BNV : তারা প্রভুর প্রতি বিশ্বস্ত ছিল না| তাদের সন্তানরা কোন অপরিচিতজাত| কিন্তু এখন তিনি আবার তাদের এবং তাদের দেশ ধ্বংস করবেন|”
KJV : They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.
YLT : Against Jehovah they dealt treacherously, For strange sons they have begotten, Now consume them doth a month [with] their portions.
RV : They have dealt treacherously against the LORD; for they have borne strange children: now shall the new moon devour them with their fields.

BNV : “গিবিযোতে ভেরী বাজাও| রামাতে তুরী বাজাও| বৈত্‌-আবনে সতর্কবাণী দাও| বিন্যামীন, শএু তোমার পেছনে|
KJV : Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, [and] the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud [at] Beth-aven, after thee, O Benjamin.
YLT : Blow ye a cornet in Gibeah, a trumpet in Ramah, Shout, O Beth-Aven, after thee, O Benjamin.
RV : Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: sound an alarm at Beth-aven; behind thee, O Benjamin.
RSV : Blow the horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah. Sound the alarm at Bethaven; tremble, O Benjamin!

ERVEN : "Blow the horn in Gibeah. Blow the trumpet in Ramah. Give the warning at Beth-Aven. The enemy is behind you, Benjamin.

BNV : শাস্তি দেওয়ার সময়ে ইফ্রয়িম শূন্য হয়ে যাবে| আমি (ঈশ্বর) ইস্রায়েলের পরিবারদের এই বলে সতর্ক করে দিচ্ছি য়ে, ওই ব্যাপারগুলো সত্যই ঘটবে|
KJV : Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
YLT : Ephraim is for a desolation in a day of reproof, Among the tribes of Israel I have made known a sure thing.
RV : Ephraim shall become a desolation in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
RSV : Ephraim shall become a desolation in the day of punishment; among the tribes of Israel I declare what is sure.

BNV : যিহূদার নেতারা চোরদের মতো, যারা অন্য লোকের সম্পত্তি চুরি করার চেষ্টা করে| সেজন্য আমি (ঈশ্বর) তাদের ওপর জলের মতো আমার রোধ ঢেলে দেব|
KJV : The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: [therefore] I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
YLT : Princes of Judah have been as those removing a border, On them I do pour out as water My wrath.

BNV : ইফ্রয়িম শাস্তি পাবে, দ্রাক্ষার মতো তাকে চেপে পিষে ফেলা হবে| কারণ সে নোংরা জিনিসকে অনুসরণ করবে বলে ঠিক করেছে|
KJV : Ephraim [is] oppressed [and] broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.
YLT : Oppressed is Ephraim, broken in judgment, When he pleased he went after the command.

BNV : পতঙ্গ য়ে ভাবে কাপড়ের টুকরো নষ্ট করে, সেই ভাবে আমি ইফ্রয়িমকে ধ্বংস করব| একটি কাষ্ঠখণ্ড য়েমন পচনে ক্ষযপ্রাপ্ত হতে থাকে আমি সেই ভাবেই যিহূদাকে ধ্বংস করব|
KJV : Therefore [will] I [be] unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
YLT : And I [am] as a moth to Ephraim, And as a rotten thing to the house of Judah.
RV : Therefore am I unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
RSV : Therefore I am like a moth to Ephraim, and like dry rot to the house of Judah.

BNV : ইফ্রয়িম তার অসুস্থতা দেখেছিল এবং যিহূদা তার আঘাত দেখেছিল; সেজন্য তারা অশূরের কাছে সাহায্যের জন্য গিয়েছিল| তারা মহান রাজাকে তাদের সমস্যার কথা বলেছিল| কিন্তু রাজা তোমাদের আরোগ্য করতে পারবে না| তিনি তোমাদের আঘাত নিরাময় করতে পারবেন না|
KJV : When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah [saw] his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
YLT : And see doth Ephraim his sickness, and Judah his wound, And Ephraim goeth unto Asshur, And sendeth unto a warlike king, And he is not able to give healing to you, Nor doth he remove from you a scar.

BNV : কেন? কারণ আমি ইফ্রয়িমের কাছে সিংহের মতো হব| আমি যিহূদাবাসীদের কাছে যুবক সিংহের মত হব| আমি- হ্যাঁ, আমি (প্রভু) তাদের টুকরো টুকরো করে ছিঁড়ে ফেলব| আমি তাদের দূরে বহন করে নিয়ে যাব| কেউ তাদের রক্ষা করতে পারবে না|
KJV : For I will [be] unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, [even] I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue [him.]
YLT : For I [am] as a lion to Ephraim, And as a young lion to the house of Judah, I -- I tear and go, I bear away, and there is no deliverer.

BNV : আমি আমার নিজের জায়গায় ফিরে যাব| যতক্ষণ পর্য়ন্ত না জনসাধারণ স্বীকার করছে য়ে তারা দোষী, যতক্ষণ পর্য়ন্ত না তারা আমাকে খুঁজতে আসছে| হ্যাঁ, তাদের বিপদের সময়ে তারা আমাকে খুঁজে পেতে আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা করবে|”
KJV : I will go [and] return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
YLT : I go -- I turn back unto My place, Till that they are desolate, and have sought My face. In their distress they do seek Me speedily!`
RV : I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me earnestly.
RSV : I will return again to my place, until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face, and in their distress they seek me, saying,
