BNV : এরপর যাকোব তাঁর পুত্রদের তার কাছে ডাকলেন এবং বললেন, “আমার বাছারা এখানে আমার কাছে এস| ভবিষ্যতে কি ঘটবে তা আমি তোমাদের বলছি|
KJV : And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you [that] which shall befall you in the last days.
YLT : And Jacob calleth unto his sons and saith, `Be gathered together, and I declare to you that which doth happen with you in the latter end of the days.
RV : And Jacob called unto his sons, and said: Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the latter days.
RSV : Then Jacob called his sons, and said, "Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in days to come.

BNV : “যাকোবের পুত্ররা এস, একসাথে এসে শোন তোমাদের পিতা ইস্রায়েল কি বলছেন|”
KJV : Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.
YLT : `Be assembled, and hear, sons of Jacob, And hearken unto Israel your father.
RV : Assemble yourselves, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; And hearken unto Israel your father.

BNV : “রূবেণ আমার প্রথম জাত, তুমিই তো আমার প্রথম সন্তান, পুরুষ হিসাবে আমার শক্তির প্রথম প্রমাণ| তুমি আমার সন্তানদের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে সম্মানিত এবং শক্তিমান|
KJV : Reuben, thou [art] my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:
YLT : Reuben! my first-born thou, My power, and beginning of my strength, The abundance of exaltation, And the abundance of strength;
RV : Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength; The excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power.
RSV : Reuben, you are my first-born, my might, and the first fruits of my strength, pre-eminent in pride and pre-eminent in power.

BNV : কিন্তু বন্যার মত তোমার কামেচ্ছা, তুমি তা দমন করো নি| সেইজন্য তুমি সম্মানিত সন্তান হিসাবে তোমার প্রাধান্য হারাবে| তুমি তোমার পিতার শয়্য়ায উঠেছিলে আর তার এক স্ত্রীর সাথে শুয়েছিলে| তুমি সেই শয়্য়ায ঘুমিযেছ এবং সেই শয়্য়াকে অপবিত্র করেছ|”
KJV : Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou [it:] he went up to my couch.
YLT : Unstable as water, thou art not abundant; For thou hast gone up thy father`s bed; Then thou hast polluted: My couch he went up!
RV : Unstable as water, thou shalt not have the excellency; Because thou wentest up to thy father-s bed: Then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.
RSV : Unstable as water, you shall not have pre-eminence because you went up to your father's bed; then you defiled it -- you went up to my couch!

ERVEN : But your passion was like a flood you couldn't control. So you will not remain my most honored son. You climbed into your father's bed and slept with one of his wives. You brought shame to my bed, to the bed you lay on.

BNV : “শিমিয়োন ও লেবি ভাই ভাই| তারা য়োদ্ধা এবং তারা তাদের তরবারি নিয়ে য়ুদ্ধ করতে ভালবাসে|
KJV : Simeon and Levi [are] brethren; instruments of cruelty [are in] their habitations.
YLT : Simeon and Levi [are] brethren! Instruments of violence -- their espousals!

BNV : তারা গোপনে মন্দ বিষয পরিকল্পনা করল| আমার আত্মা তাদের পরিকল্পনার অংশ নেবে না| তাদের গোপন সত্য আমি স্বীকার করব না| তারা রাগে মানুষ হত্যা করল| কেবল ঠাট্টা করতে পশুদের আঘাত করল|
KJV : O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.
YLT : Into their secret, come not, O my soul! Unto their assembly be not united, O mine honour; For in their anger they slew a man, And in their self-will eradicated a prince.
RV : O my soul, come not thou into their council; Unto their assembly, my glory, be not thou united; For in their anger they slew a man, And in their selfwill they houghed an ox.
RSV : O my soul, come not into their council; O my spirit, be not joined to their company; for in their anger they slay men, and in their wantonness they hamstring oxen.

ERVEN : I will not join in their secret meetings. I will not take part in their evil plans. They have killed people out of anger and crippled animals for fun.

BNV : তাদের রাগ এক অভিশাপ| কারণ তা প্রচণ্ড| উন্মত্ত হয়ে উঠলে তারা নিষ্ঠুরতায পূর্ণ হয়| তারা যাকোবের দেশে তাদের অংশ পাবে না| তারা সমস্ত ইস্রাযেলে ছড়িয়ে পড়বে|”
KJV : Cursed [be] their anger, for [it was] fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.
YLT : Cursed [is] their anger, for [it is] fierce, And their wrath, for [it is] sharp; I divide them in Jacob, And I scatter them in Israel.

ERVEN : Their anger is so strong that it is a curse. They are too cruel when they are angry. They will not get their own land in the land of Jacob. They will be spread throughout Israel.

BNV : “যিহূদা তোমার ভাইরা তোমার প্রশংসা করবে| তুমি তোমার শত্রুদের পরাজিত করবে| তোমার ভাইরা তোমার কাছে জানু পাতবে|
KJV : Judah, thou [art he] whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand [shall be] in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee.
YLT : Judah! thou -- thy brethren praise thee! Thy hand [is] on the neck of thine enemies, Sons of thy father bow themselves to thee.
RV : Judah, thee shall thy brethren praise: Thy hand shall be on the neck of thine enemies; Thy father-s sons shall bow down before thee.

BNV : আমার বাছা, তুমি শিকারের ওপর দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা সিংহের মতো| সে বিশ্রাম করলে তাকে বিরক্ত করার সাহস কার আছে|
KJV : Judah [is] a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
YLT : A lion`s whelp [is] Judah, For prey, my son, thou hast gone up; He hath bent, he hath crouched as a lion, And as a lioness; who causeth him to arise?

ERVEN : Judah is like a young lion. My son, you are like a lion standing over the animal it killed. Like a lion, Judah lies down to rest, and no one is brave enough to disturb him.

BNV : যিহূদার বংশ থেকেই রাজারা উঠবে| তার বংশ য়ে শাসন করবে এই চিহ্ন প্রকৃত রাজা না আসা পর্য্ন্ত রইবে| পরে বহু লোক বাধ্য হয়ে তার সেবা করবে|
KJV : The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him [shall] the gathering of the people [be. ]
YLT : The sceptre turneth not aside from Judah, And a lawgiver from between his feet, Till his Seed come; And his [is] the obedience of peoples.
RV : The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler-s staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh come; And unto him shall the obedience of the peoples be.
RSV : The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs; and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

ERVEN : Men from Judah's family will be kings. The sign that his family rules will not leave his family before the real king comes. Then many people will obey and serve him.

BNV : সে দ্রাক্ষালতা দিয়ে তার গাধা বাঁধবে| গাধার শাবককে উত্তম দ্রাক্ষালতায় বাঁধবে| উত্তম দ্রাক্ষারসে নিজের বস্ত্র ধৌত করবে|
KJV : Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
YLT : Binding to the vine his ass, And to the choice vine the colt of his ass, He hath washed in wine his clothing, And in the blood of grapes his covering;

BNV : তার চোখ দ্রাক্ষারস পান করে লাল, তার দাঁত দুধ পান করে সাদা|”
KJV : His eyes [shall be] red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
YLT : Red [are] eyes with wine, And white [are] teeth with milk!
RV : His eyes shall be red with wine, And his teeth white with milk.

BNV : “সবূলূন সমুদ্রের কাছে বাস করবে| তার সমুদ্রোপকুল জাহাজের পক্ষে হবে নিরাপদ| সীদোন পর্য্ন্ত বিস্তৃত হবে তার দেশ|”
KJV : Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he [shall be] for an haven of ships; and his border [shall be] unto Zidon.
YLT : Zebulun at a haven of the seas doth dwell, And he [is] for a haven of ships; And his side [is] unto Zidon.
RV : Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea: And he shall be for an haven of ships; And his border shall be upon Zidon.

KJV : Issachar [is] a strong ass couching down between two burdens:

BNV : সে দেখবে তার বিশ্রাম স্থান উত্তম| তার দেশ হবে মনোহর| তখন সে ভারী বোঝা বইতে সম্মত হবে| দান হিসাবে কাজ করতে সম্মতি জানাবে|”
KJV : And he saw that rest [was] good, and the land that [it was] pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.
YLT : And he seeth rest that [it is] good, And the land that [it is] pleasant, And he inclineth his shoulder to bear, And is to tribute a servant.

KJV : Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
YLT : Dan is a serpent by the way, An adder by the path, Which is biting the horse`s heels, And its rider falleth backward.

BNV : হে প্রভু, আমি তোমার পরিত্রাণের অপেক্ষা করছি|”
KJV : I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD.
YLT : For Thy salvation I have waited, Jehovah!
RV : I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD.

BNV : “এক দল দস্যু গাদকে আক্রমণ করবে| কিন্তু গাদ তাদের পিছনে তাড়া করবে|”
KJV : Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.
YLT : Gad! a troop assaulteth him, But he assaulteth last.

BNV : “আশেরের দেশে উত্তম খাদ্য উত্পন্ন হবে| রাজার উপযুক্ত খাদ্যই সে য়োগাবে!”
KJV : Out of Asher his bread [shall be] fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.
YLT : Out of Asher his bread [is] fat; And he giveth dainties of a king.

YLT : Naphtali [is] a hind sent away, Who is giving beauteous young ones.

BNV : “য়োষেফ কৃতকার্য়্য় হয়েছে| সে ফলে ঢাকা লতার মতো| বসন্তে বেড়ে ওঠা শাখার মতো| বেড়ার গায়ে বেড়ে ওঠা লতার মতো|
KJV : Joseph [is] a fruitful bough, [even] a fruitful bough by a well; [whose] branches run over the wall:
YLT : Joseph [is] a fruitful son; A fruitful son by a fountain, Daughters step over the wall;

BNV : অনেক লোক তার বিরুদ্ধে গেছে এবং তার সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করেছে| ধনুকধারীরা তার শত্রু হয়েছে|
KJV : The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot [at him,] and hated him:
YLT : And embitter him -- yea, they have striven, Yea, hate him do archers;
RV : The archers have sorely grieved him, And shot at him, and persecuted him:
RSV : The archers fiercely attacked him, shot at him, and harassed him sorely;

ERVEN : People attacked him and made life hard for him. Men with arrows became his enemies.

BNV : কিন্তু সে তার পরাক্রমী ধনু ও দক্ষ বাহুর সাহায়্য়ে যুদ্ধ জয় করেছে| সে ক্ষমতা পায় যাকোবের এক বীরের কাছ থেকে, এক মেষপালকের কাছ থেকে য়ে ইস্রায়েলের পর্বত স্বরূপ, মেষপালক অর্থাত্‌ ইস্রায়েলের শৈলের কাছে|
KJV : But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty [God] of Jacob; (from thence [is] the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
YLT : And his bow abideth in strength, And strengthened are the arms of his hands By the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, Whence is a shepherd, a son of Israel.
RV : But his bow abode in strength, And the arms of his hands were made strong, By the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, (From thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel,)
RSV : yet his bow remained unmoved, his arms were made agile by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (by the name of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel),

ESV : yet his bow remained unmoved; his arms were made agile by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel),
ERVEN : But he won the fight with his mighty bow and his skillful arms. He gets power from the Mighty One of Jacob, from the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,

BNV : তোমার পিতার ঈশ্বরের কাছ থেকে ঈশ্বর তোমায় আশীর্বাদ করুন| সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বর তোমায় আশীর্বাদ করুন, উপরের আকাশ হতে আশীর্বাদ বর্ষান, আর গভীর জল থেকেও আশীর্বাদ করুন| তিনি তোমাকে স্তন ও গর্ভ হতেও আশীর্বাদ করুন|
KJV : [Even] by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
YLT : By the God of thy father who helpeth thee, And the Mighty One who blesseth thee, Blessings of the heavens from above, Blessings of the deep lying under, Blessings of breasts and womb; --
RV : Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee, And by the Almighty, who shall bless thee, With blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that coucheth beneath, Blessings of the breasts, and of the womb.
