BNV : দু বছর পর ফরৌণ একটা স্বপ্ন দেখলেন| দেখলেন তিনি নীল নদীর ধারে দাঁড়িয়ে রয়েছেন|
KJV : And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.
YLT : And it cometh to pass, at the end of two years of days that Pharaoh is dreaming, and lo, he is standing by the River,
RV : And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.
RSV : After two whole years, Pharaoh dreamed that he was standing by the Nile,

BNV : স্বপ্নে নদী থেকে সাতটা গরু উঠে এসে ঘাস খেতে লাগল| গরুগুলো ছিল হৃষ্টপুষ্ট, দেখতেও ভালো|
KJV : And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.
YLT : and lo, from the River coming up are seven kine, of fair appearance, and fat [in] flesh, and they feed among the reeds;
RV : And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, well favoured and fatfleshed; and they fed in the reed-grass.
RSV : and behold, there came up out of the Nile seven cows sleek and fat, and they fed in the reed grass.
ASV : And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, well-favored and fat-fleshed; and they fed in the reed-grass.
ESV : and behold, there came up out of the Nile seven cows attractive and plump, and they fed in the reed grass.
ERVEN : In the dream, seven cows came out of the river and stood there eating grass. They were healthy, good-looking cows.

BNV : এরপর নদী থেকে আরও সাতটা গরু উঠে এসে পাড়ের হৃষ্টপুষ্ট গরুগুলোর গা ঘেঁসে দাঁড়াল| কিন্তু ঐ গরুগুলো রোগা ছিল, দেখতেও অসুস্থ|
KJV : And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the [other] kine upon the brink of the river.
YLT : and lo, seven other kine are coming up after them out of the River, of bad appearance, and lean [in] flesh, and they stand near the kine on the edge of the River,
RV : And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river.
RSV : And behold, seven other cows, gaunt and thin, came up out of the Nile after them, and stood by the other cows on the bank of the Nile.
ASV : And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill-favored and lean-fleshed, and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river.
ESV : And behold, seven other cows, ugly and thin, came up out of the Nile after them, and stood by the other cows on the bank of the Nile.
ERVEN : Then seven more cows came out of the river and stood on the bank of the river by the healthy cows. But these cows were thin and looked sick.

BNV : সেই সাতটা অসুস্থ গরু সাতটা হৃষ্টপুষ্ট গরুগুলোকে খেয়ে ফেলল| তখনই ফরৌণের ঘুম ভেঙ্গে গেল|
KJV : And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.
YLT : and the kine of bad appearance and lean [in] flesh eat up the seven kine of fair appearance, and fat -- and Pharaoh awaketh.
RV : And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.
RSV : And the gaunt and thin cows ate up the seven sleek and fat cows. And Pharaoh awoke.
ASV : And the ill-favored and lean-fleshed kine did eat up the seven well-favored and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.
ESV : And the ugly, thin cows ate up the seven attractive, plump cows. And Pharaoh awoke.
ERVEN : The seven sick cows ate the seven healthy cows. Then Pharaoh woke up.

BNV : ফরৌণ আবার শুতে গেলেন; আবার স্বপ্ন দেখলেন| এইবার দেখলেন একটা গাছে সাতটা শীষ বেড়ে উঠছে| শীষগুলো পুষ্ট এবং শস্যে ভরা|
KJV : And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good.
YLT : And he sleepeth, and dreameth a second time, and lo, seven ears are coming up on one stalk, fat and good,
RV : And he slept and dreamed a second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good.
RSV : And he fell asleep and dreamed a second time; and behold, seven ears of grain, plump and good, were growing on one stalk.

ERVEN : Pharaoh went back to sleep and began dreaming again. This time he dreamed that he saw seven heads of grain growing on one plant. They were healthy and full of grain.

BNV : তারপর দেখলেন আরও সাতটা শীষ উঠছে| কিন্তু শীষগুলো অপুষ্ট আর পূবের বাতাসে ঝলসে গেছে|
KJV : And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.
YLT : and lo, seven ears, thin, and blasted with an east wind, are springing up after them;
RV : And, behold, seven ears, thin and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.
RSV : And behold, after them sprouted seven ears, thin and blighted by the east wind.

ERVEN : Then he saw seven more heads of grain sprouting, but they were thin and scorched by the hot wind.

BNV : এরপর ঐ রোগা রোগা সাতটা শীষ পুষ্ট সাতটা শীষকে খেয়ে ফেলল| ফরৌণের ঘুম আবার ভেঙ্গে গেল| তিনি বুঝলেন য়ে তিনি স্বপ্ন দেখছিলেন|
KJV : And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, [it was] a dream.
YLT : and the thin ears swallow the seven fat and full ears -- and Pharaoh awaketh, and lo, a dream.
RV : And the thin ears swallowed up the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.

ERVEN : The thin heads of grain ate the seven good heads of grain. Then Pharaoh woke up again and realized it was only a dream.

BNV : পরের দিন সকালে রাতে দেখা স্বপ্নগুলোর জন্য ফরৌণের মন অস্থির হয়ে উঠল| তাই তিনি মিশরের সমস্ত যাদুকর ও জ্ঞানী লোকদের ডেকে পাঠালেন| ফরৌণ তার স্বপ্ন তাদের বললেন কিন্তু কেউ তার অর্থ বলতে পারল না|
KJV : And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but [there was] none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.
YLT : And it cometh to pass in the morning, that his spirit is moved, and he sendeth and calleth all the scribes of Egypt, and all its wise men, and Pharaoh recounteth to them his dream, and there is no interpreter of them to Pharaoh.
RV : And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.

ESV : So in the morning his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was none who could interpret them to Pharaoh.
ERVEN : The next morning Pharaoh was worried about these dreams, so he sent for all the magicians and wise men of Egypt. Pharaoh told these men the dreams, but none of them could explain the dreams.

BNV : তখন পানপাত্রবাহকের য়োষেফের কথা মনে পড়ল| ভৃত্যটি ফরৌণকে বলল, “আমার সাথে যা ঘটেছিল তা মনে পড়ছে|
KJV : Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
YLT : And the chief of the butlers speaketh with Pharaoh, saying, `My sin I mention this day:
RV : Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
RSV : Then the chief butler said to Pharaoh, "I remember my faults today.
ASV : Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
ESV : Then the chief cupbearer said to Pharaoh, "I remember my offenses today.
ERVEN : Then the wine servant remembered Joseph and said to Pharaoh, "I remember something that happened to me.

BNV : আপনি আমার ও রুটিওয়ালার উপর রেগে গিয়েছিলেন এবং আমাদের বন্দী করেছিলেন|
KJV : Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both [me] and the chief baker:
YLT : Pharaoh hath been wroth against his servants, and giveth me into charge in the house of the chief of the executioners, me and the chief of the bakers;
RV : Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, me and the chief baker:
RSV : When Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me and the chief baker in custody in the house of the captain of the guard,

ERVEN : You were angry with the baker and me, and you put us in prison.

BNV : তারপর এক রাতে সে ও আমি স্বপ্ন দেখলাম| প্রত্যেকটি স্বপ্নের আলাদা অর্থ ছিল|
KJV : And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.
YLT : and we dream a dream in one night, I and he, each according to the interpretation of his dream we have dreamed.
RV : and we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.
RSV : we dreamed on the same night, he and I, each having a dream with its own meaning.

ERVEN : Then one night he and I had a dream. Each dream had a different meaning.

BNV : আমাদের সাথে কারাগারে এক ইব্রীয় যুবক ছিল| সে ছিল রক্ষীদের অধিকারী ভৃত্য| আমরা তাকে আমাদের স্বপ্ন বললে সে তার মানে বলে দিল|
KJV : And [there was] there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.
YLT : And there [is] with us a youth, a Hebrew, servant to the chief of the executioners, and we recount to him, and he interpreteth to us our dreams, [to] each according to his dream hath he interpreted,
RV : And there was with us there a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.
RSV : A young Hebrew was there with us, a servant of the captain of the guard; and when we told him, he interpreted our dreams to us, giving an interpretation to each man according to his dream.

ERVEN : There was a young Hebrew man in prison with us. He was a servant of the commander of the guards. We told him our dreams, and he explained them to us. He told us the meaning of each dream,

BNV : আর সে যা বলল বাস্তবে তাই-ই ঘটল| সে বলেছিল য়ে আমি মুক্তি পেয়ে আবার পুরানো কাজ ফিরে পাব - ঘটলও তাই| রুটিওয়ালা সম্বন্ধে বলেছিল য়ে সে মারা যাবে - ঘটলও তাই|”
KJV : And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.
YLT : and it cometh to pass, as he hath interpreted to us so it hath been, me he put back on my station, and him he hanged.`
RV : And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.
RSV : And as he interpreted to us, so it came to pass; I was restored to my office, and the baker was hanged."
ASV : And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.
ESV : And as he interpreted to us, so it came about. I was restored to my office, and the baker was hanged."
ERVEN : and what he said came true. He said I would be free and have my old job back, and it happened. He also said the baker would die, and it happened!"

BNV : তাই ফরৌণ য়োষেফকে ডেকে পাঠালে দুজন রক্ষী দ্রুত তাকে কারাগার থেকে বের করে আনল| য়োষেফ দাড়ি কামালেন, পরিষ্কার জামা পরলেন| তারপর ফরৌণের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে গেলেন|
KJV : Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved [himself,] and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.
YLT : And Pharaoh sendeth and calleth Joseph, and they cause him to run out of the pit, and he shaveth, and changeth his garments, and cometh in unto Pharaoh.
RV : Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.
RSV : Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon; and when he had shaved himself and changed his clothes, he came in before Pharaoh.
ASV : Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.
ESV : Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they quickly brought him out of the pit. And when he had shaved himself and changed his clothes, he came in before Pharaoh.
ERVEN : So Pharaoh called Joseph from the prison. The guards quickly got Joseph out of prison. Joseph shaved, put on some clean clothes, and went to see Pharaoh.

BNV : ফরৌণ য়োষেফকে বললেন, “আমি একটা স্বপ্ন দেখেছি কিন্তু কেউ তার ব্যাখ্যা করতে পারছে না| আমি শুনেছি য়ে তুমি স্বপ্ন শুনলে তার ব্যাখ্যা করতে পার|”
KJV : And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and [there is] none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, [that] thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.
YLT : And Pharaoh saith unto Joseph, `A dream I have dreamed, and there is no interpreter of it, and I -- I have heard concerning thee, saying, Thou understandest a dream to interpret it,`
RV : And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that when thou hearest a dream thou canst interpret it.
RSV : And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it; and I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it."
ASV : And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that when thou hearest a dream thou canst interpret it.
ESV : And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it."
ERVEN : Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I had a dream, and no one can explain it for me. I heard that you can explain dreams when someone tells you about them."

BNV : উত্তরে য়োষেফ বললেন, “আমি পারি না! কিন্তু হয়তো ফরৌণের জন্য ঈশ্বর তার অর্থ বলে দেবেন|”
KJV : And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, [It is] not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
YLT : and Joseph answereth Pharaoh, saying, `Without me -- God doth answer Pharaoh with peace.`
RV : And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
RSV : Joseph answered Pharaoh, "It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer."
ASV : And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
ESV : Joseph answered Pharaoh, "It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer."
ERVEN : Joseph answered, "I cannot! But God can explain the dream for you, Pharaoh."

BNV : তখন ফরৌণ য়োষেফকে বলতে লাগলেন, “আমার দেখা স্বপ্নে আমি নীল নদীর ধারে দাঁড়িয়েছিলাম|
KJV : And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river:
YLT : And Pharaoh speaketh unto Joseph: `In my dream, lo, I am standing by the edge of the River,
RV : And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the brink of the river:
RSV : Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Behold, in my dream I was standing on the banks of the Nile;
ASV : And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the brink of the river:
ESV : Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Behold, in my dream I was standing on the banks of the Nile.
ERVEN : Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, "In my dream I was standing by the Nile River.

YLT : and lo, out of the River coming up are seven kine, fat [in] flesh, and of fair form, and they feed among the reeds;

ERVEN : Seven cows came up out of the river and stood there eating the grass. They were healthy, good-looking cows.

BNV : তারপর আমি নদী থেকে আরও সাতটি গরু উঠে আসতে দেখলাম| কিন্তু এই গরুগুলো রোগা রোগা, দেখতেও অসুস্থ| ঐরকম বিশ্রী গরু আমি মিশরে কখনও দেখি নি|
KJV : And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:
YLT : and lo, seven other kine are coming up after them, thin, and of very bad form, and lean [in] flesh; I have not seen like these in all the land of Egypt for badness.
RV : and, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:
RSV : and seven other cows came up after them, poor and very gaunt and thin, such as I had never seen in all the land of Egypt.
ASV : and, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill-favored and lean-fleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:
ESV : Seven other cows came up after them, poor and very ugly and thin, such as I had never seen in all the land of Egypt.
ERVEN : Then I saw seven more cows come out of the river after them, but these cows were thin and looked sick. They were the worst cows I had ever seen anywhere in Egypt!

BNV : তারপর রোগা অসুস্থ গরুগুলো প্রথমে আসা হৃষ্টপুষ্ট গরুগুলোকে খেয়ে ফেলল|
KJV : And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:
YLT : `And the lean and the bad kine eat up the first seven fat kine,
RV : and the lean and ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:
RSV : And the thin and gaunt cows ate up the first seven fat cows,
ASV : and the lean and ill-favored kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:
ESV : And the thin, ugly cows ate up the first seven plump cows,
ERVEN : The thin, sick cows ate the first healthy cows,

BNV : কিন্তু তাও তাদের চেহারা রোগা আর অসুস্থই রইল| দেখে মনেই হবে না যা তারা সেই মোটা মোটা গরুগুলো খেয়েছে| তারপর আমার ঘুম ভেঙ্গে গেল|
KJV : And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they [were] still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.
YLT : and they come in unto their midst, and it hath not been known that they have come in unto their midst, and their appearance [is] bad as at the commencement; and I awake.
RV : and when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.
RSV : but when they had eaten them no one would have known that they had eaten them, for they were still as gaunt as at the beginning. Then I awoke.
ASV : and when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill-favored, as at the beginning. So I awoke.
ESV : but when they had eaten them no one would have known that they had eaten them, for they were still as ugly as at the beginning. Then I awoke.
ERVEN : but they still looked thin and sick. You couldn't even tell they had eaten the healthy cows. They looked as thin and sick as they did in the beginning. Then I woke up.

BNV : “আমার পরের স্বপ্নে আমি দেখলাম একটা গাছে সাতটা শীষ বেড়ে উঠছে| শীষগুলো পুষ্ট শস্যের দানায ভরা|
KJV : And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good:
YLT : `And I see in my dream, and lo, seven ears are coming up on one stalk, full and good;
RV : And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up upon one stalk, full and good:
RSV : I also saw in my dream seven ears growing on one stalk, full and good;

ERVEN : "In my next dream I saw seven heads of grain growing on one plant. They were healthy and full of grain.

BNV : তারপর সেগুলোর পরে সাতটা আরও শীষ উঠে এলো| কিন্তু এগুলো রোগা আর পূবের বাতাসে ঝলসানো ছিল|
KJV : And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, [and] blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:
YLT : and lo, seven ears, withered, thin, blasted with an east wind, are springing up after them;
RV : and, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, {cf15i and} blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:

BNV : এরপর সেই অপুষ্ট শীষগুলো পুষ্ট শীষগুলোকে খেয়ে ফেলল|“আমার যাদুকরদের আমি এই স্বপ্নগুলো বললাম বটে কিন্তু তারা তার অর্থ বলতে পারল না| স্বপ্নগুলোর অর্থ কি?”
KJV : And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told [this] unto the magicians; but [there was] none that could declare [it] to me.
YLT : and the thin ears swallow the seven good ears; and I tell unto the scribes, and there is none declaring to me.`
