BNV : রূযেল ছাড়াও মোশির শ্বশুরের আর এক নাম ছিল য়িথ্রো| য়িথ্রো মিদিযনীর একজন যাজক| মোশি য়িথ্রোর মেষের পালের দেখাশোনার দায়িত্ব নিল| মোশি মেষের পাল চরাতে মরুভূমির পশ্চিম প্রান্তে য়েত| একদিন সে মেষের পাল চরাতে চরাতে ঈশ্বরের পর্বত হোরেবে (সিনয়) গিয়ে উপস্থিত হল|
KJV : Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, [even] to Horeb.
YLT : And Moses hath been feeding the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, priest of Midian, and he leadeth the flock behind the wilderness, and cometh in unto the mount of God, to Horeb;
RV : Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to the mountain of God, unto Horeb.
RSV : Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian; and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
ASV : Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to the mountain of God, unto Horeb.
ESV : Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
ERVEN : Moses' father-in-law was named Jethro. Jethro was a priest of Midian. Moses took care of Jethro's sheep. One day, Moses led the sheep to the west side of the desert. He went to a mountain called Horeb, the mountain of God.

BNV : ঐ পর্বতে সে জ্বলন্ত ঝোপের ভিতরে প্রভুর দূতের দর্শন পেল| মোশি দেখল ঝোপে আগুন লাগলেও তা পুড়ে ছাই হয়ে যাচ্ছে না|
KJV : And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush [was] not consumed.
YLT : and there appeareth unto him a messenger of Jehovah in a flame of fire, out of the midst of the bush, and he seeth, and lo, the bush is burning with fire, and the bush is not consumed.
RV : And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

ESV : And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.
ERVEN : On that mountain, Moses saw the Angel of the Lord in a burning bush. Moses saw a bush that was burning without being destroyed.

BNV : তাই সে অবাক হয়ে জ্বলন্ত ঝোপের আর একটু কাছে এগিয়ে গেল| মনে মনে ভাবল কি আশ্চর্য় ব্যাপার, ঝোপে আগুন লেগেছে, অথচ ঝোপটা পুড়ে নষ্ট হচ্ছে না!
KJV : And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
YLT : And Moses saith, `Let me turn aside, I pray thee, and I see this great appearance; wherefore is the bush not burned?`
RV : And Moses said, I will turn aside now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
RSV : And Moses said, "I will turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt."
ASV : And Moses said, I will turn aside now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
ESV : And Moses said, "I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned."
ERVEN : So he decided to go closer to the bush and see how a bush could continue burning without being burned up.

BNV : প্রভু লক্ষ্য করছিলেন মোশি ক্রমশঃ ঝোপের দিকে দৃষ্টিপাত করতে করতে কাছে এগিয়ে আসছে| তাই ঈশ্বর ঐ ঝোপের ভিতর থেকে ডাকলেন, “মোশি, মোশি!”এবং মোশি উত্তর দিল, “হ্যাঁ, প্রভু|”
KJV : And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here [am] I.
YLT : and Jehovah seeth that he hath turned aside to see, and God calleth unto him out of the midst of the bush, and saith, `Moses, Moses;` and he saith, `Here [am] I.`
RV : And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
RSV : When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here am I."
ASV : And when Jehovah saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
ESV : When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."
ERVEN : The Lord saw Moses was coming to look at the bush. So he called to him from the bush. He said, "Moses, Moses!" Moses said, "Yes, Lord."

BNV : তখন প্রভু বললেন, “আর কাছে এসো না| পায়ের চটি খুলে নাও| তুমি এখন পবিত্র ভূমিতে দাঁড়িয়ে আছো|
KJV : And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
YLT : And He saith, `Come not near hither: cast thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place on which thou art standing is holy ground.`
RV : And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
RSV : Then he said, "Do not come near; put off your shoes from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground."
ASV : And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
ESV : Then he said, "Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground."
ERVEN : Then God said, "Don't come any closer. Take off your sandals. You are standing on holy ground.

BNV : আমি তোমার পূর্বপুরুষদের ঈশ্বর| আমি অব্রাহামের ঈশ্বর, ইস্হাকের ঈশ্বর এবং যাকোবের ঈশ্বর|”মোশি ঈশ্বরের দিকে তাকানোর ভয়ে তার মুখ ঢেকে ফেলল|
KJV : Moreover he said, I [am] the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
YLT : He saith also, `I [am] the God of thy father, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob;` and Moses hideth his face, for he is afraid to look towards God.
RV : Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

ERVEN : I am the God of your ancestors. I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." Moses covered his face because he was afraid to look at God.

BNV : তখন প্রভু বললেন, “মিশরে আমার লোকদের দুর্দশা আমি নিজের চোখে দেখেছি| এবং যখন তাদের ওপর অত্যাচার করা হয় তখন আমি তাদের চিত্কার শুনেছি| আমি তাদের যন্ত্রণার কথা জানি|
KJV : And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which [are] in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
YLT : And Jehovah saith, `I have certainly seen the affliction of My people who [are] in Egypt, and their cry I have heard, because of its exactors, for I have known its pains;
RV : And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
RSV : Then the LORD said, "I have seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters; I know their sufferings,
ASV : And Jehovah said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people that are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
ESV : Then the LORD said, "I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings,
ERVEN : Then the Lord said, "I have seen the troubles my people have suffered in Egypt, and I have heard their cries when the Egyptians hurt them. I know about their pain.

BNV : এখন সমতলে নেমে গিয়ে মিশরীয়দের হাত থেকে আমার লোকদের আমি রক্ষা করব| আমি তাদের মিশর থেকে উদ্ধার করে নিয়ে যাব এবং আমি তাদের এমন এক সুন্দর দেশে নিয়ে যাব য়ে দেশে তারা স্বাধীনভাবে শান্তিতে বাস করতে পারবে| সেই দেশ হবে বহু ভাল জিনিসে ভরা ভূখণ্ড|নানা ধরণের মানুষ সে দেশে বাস করে: কনানীয, হিত্তীয়, ইমোরীয়, পরিষীয়, হিব্বীয় ও য়িবুষীয গোষ্ঠীর লোকরা সেখানে বাস করে|
KJV : And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
YLT : and I go down to deliver it out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to cause it to go up out of the land, unto a land good and broad, unto a land flowing with milk and honey -- unto the place of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

ERVEN : Now I will go down and save my people from the Egyptians. I will take them from that land and lead them to a good land where they can be free from these troubles. It is a land filled with many good things. Many different people live in that land: the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

BNV : আমি ইস্রায়েলীয়দের কান্না শুনেছি| দেখেছি, মিশরীয়রা কিভাবে তাদের জীবন দুর্বিষহ করে তুলেছে|
KJV : Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
YLT : `And now, lo, the cry of the sons of Israel hath come in unto Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them,
RV : And now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: moreover I have seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
RSV : And now, behold, the cry of the people of Israel has come to me, and I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.
ASV : And now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: moreover I have seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

ERVEN : I have heard the cries of the Israelites, and I have seen the way the Egyptians have made life hard for them.

BNV : তাই এখন আমি তোমাকে ফরৌণের কাছে পাঠাচ্ছি| যাও! তুমি আমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের মিশর থেকে বাইরে নিয়ে এসো|”
KJV : Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
YLT : and now, come, and I send thee unto Pharaoh, and bring thou out My people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt.`
RV : Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
RSV : Come, I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring forth my people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt."

BNV : কিন্তু মোশি ঈশ্বরকে বলল, “আমি কোনও মহান ব্যক্তি নই! সুতরাং আমি কি করে ফরৌণের কাছে যাব এবং ইহুদীদের মিশর থেকে উদ্ধার করে আনব?”
KJV : And Moses said unto God, Who [am] I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
YLT : And Moses saith unto God, `Who [am] I, that I go unto Pharaoh, and that I bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt?`
RV : And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
RSV : But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?"
ASV : And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
ESV : But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?"
ERVEN : But Moses said to God, "I am not a great man! How can I be the one to go to Pharaoh and lead the Israelites out of Egypt?"

BNV : ঈশ্বর বললেন, “তুমি পারবে, কারণ আমি তোমার সঙ্গে থাকব! আমি য়ে তোমাকে পাঠাচ্ছি তার প্রমাণ হবে; তুমি ইস্রায়েলীয়দের মিশর থেকে উদ্ধার করে আনার পর এই পর্বতে এসে আমার উপাসনা করবে|”
KJV : And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this [shall be] a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
YLT : and He saith, `Because I am with thee, and this [is] to thee the sign that I have sent thee: in thy bringing out the people from Egypt -- ye do serve God on this mount.`
RV : And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be the token unto thee, that I have sent thee: when thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
RSV : He said, "But I will be with you; and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought forth the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God upon this mountain."
ASV : And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be the token unto thee, that I have sent thee: when thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
ESV : He said, "But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain."
ERVEN : God said, "You can do it because I will be with you. This will be the proof that I am sending you: After you lead the people out of Egypt, you will come and worship me on this mountain."

BNV : তখন মোশি ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশ্যে বলল, ‘কিন্তু আমি যদি গিয়ে ইস্রায়েলীয়দের বলি য়ে, “তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের ঈশ্বর আমাকে পাঠিয়েছেন,’ তখন তারা আমাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করবে, ‘তার নাম কি?’ তখন আমি তাদের কি বলব?”
KJV : And Moses said unto God, Behold, [when] I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
YLT : And Moses saith unto God, `Lo, I am coming unto the sons of Israel, and have said to them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you, and they have said to me, What [is] His name? what do I say unto them?`
RV : And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
RSV : Then Moses said to God, "If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, `The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, `What is his name?' what shall I say to them?"
ASV : And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? What shall I say unto them?
ESV : Then Moses said to God, "If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' what shall I say to them?"
ERVEN : Then Moses said to God, "But if I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your ancestors sent me,' then the people will ask, 'What is his name?' What should I tell them?"

BNV : তখন ঈশ্বর মোশিকে বললেন, “তাদের বলো, ‘আমি আমিই|’ যখনই তুমি ইস্রায়েলীয়দের কাছে যাবে তখনই তাদের বলবে, ‘আমিই’ আমাকে পাঠিয়েছেন|”
KJV : And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
YLT : And God saith unto Moses, `I AM THAT WHICH I AM;` He saith also, `Thus dost thou say to the sons of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.`
RV : And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
RSV : God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And he said, "Say this to the people of Israel, `I AM has sent me to you.'"
ASV : And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
ESV : God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And he said, "Say this to the people of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"
ERVEN : Then God said to Moses, "Tell them, 'I AM WHO I AM.' When you go to the Israelites, tell them, 'I AM' sent me to you."

BNV : ঈশ্বর মোশিকে আরও বললেন, “তুমি অবশ্যই তাদের একথা বলবে: ‘য়িহোবা হলেন তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের ঈশ্বর, অব্রাহামের ঈশ্বর, ইস্হাকের ঈশ্বর এবং যাকোবের ঈশ্বর| আমার নাম সর্বদা হবে য়িহোবা| এই নামেই আমাকে লোকে বংশ পরম্পরায চিনবে|’ লোকদের বলো, ‘য়িহোবা তোমাকে পাঠিয়েছেন!”‘
KJV : And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this [is] my name for ever, and this [is] my memorial unto all generations.
YLT : And God saith again unto Moses, `Thus dost thou say unto the sons of Israel, Jehovah, God of your fathers, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you; this [is] My name -- to the age, and this My memorial, to generation -- generation.
RV : And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
RSV : God also said to Moses, "Say this to the people of Israel, `The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you': this is my name for ever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.
ASV : And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
ESV : God also said to Moses, "Say this to the people of Israel, 'The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.' This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.
ERVEN : God also said to Moses, "This is what you should tell the people: 'Yahweh is the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. My name will always be Yahweh.' That is how the people will know me for generations and generations to come. Tell the people, 'Yahweh has sent me to you!'"

BNV : প্রভু আরও বললেন, “যাও, ইস্রায়েলের প্রবীণদের একত্র করে তাদের বলো, ‘য়িহোবা, তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের ঈশ্বর আমাকে দর্শন দিয়েছেন| অব্রাহামের, ইস্হাকের, এবং যাকোবের ঈশ্বর আমাকে বলেছেন: তোমাদের সঙ্গে মিশরে যা ঘটছে তা সবই আমি দেখেছি|
KJV : Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and [seen] that which is done to you in Egypt:
YLT : `Go, and thou hast gathered the elders of Israel, and hast said unto them: Jehovah, God of your fathers, hath appeareth unto me, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, I have certainly inspected you, and that which is done to you in Egypt;
RV : Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, hath appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and {cf15i seen} that which is done to you in Egypt:

ESV : Go and gather the elders of Israel together and say to them, 'The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has appeared to me, saying, "I have observed you and what has been done to you in Egypt,
ERVEN : The Lord also said, "Go and gather together the elders of the people and tell them, 'Yahweh, the God of your ancestors, has appeared to me. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob spoke to me. The Lord says: I have been watching over you and I have seen what people did to you in Egypt.

BNV : আমি সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি য়ে মিশরের দুর্দশা থেকে তোমাদের উদ্ধার করব| আমি তোমাদের উদ্ধার করব এবং তোমাদের কনানীয, হিত্তীয়, ইমোরীয়, পরিষীয়, হিব্বীয় ও যিবূষীয়দের দেশে নিয়ে যাব| আমি তোমাদের বহু সুসম্পদে ভরা ভূখণ্ডে নিয়ে যাব|’

And those Egyptian women will give them gifts of silver, gold, and fine clothing. Then you will put those gifts on your children. In this way you will take away the wealth of the Egyptians."
