BNV : রাজা নবূখদ্নিত্‌সর একটি সোনার মূর্ত্তি তৈরী করলেন| মূর্ত্তিটি ছিল 60 হাত উঁচু এবং 6 হাত চওড়া| তারপর তিনি সেই মূর্ত্তিটি বাবিল প্রদেশে দূরা সমতলের ওপর স্থাপন করলেন|
KJV : Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height [was] threescore cubits, [and] the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
YLT : Nebuchadnezzar the king hath made an image of gold, its height sixty cubits, its breadth six cubits; he hath raised it up in the valley of Dura, in the province of Babylon;
RV : Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

ERVEN : King Nebuchadnezzar had a gold idol made that was 60 cubits high and 6 cubits wide. Then he set the idol up on the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon.

BNV : তারপর রাজা প্রাদেশীয় রাজ্যপাল, উচ্চপদস্থ সামরিক কর্মচারীগণ, উপদেশকগণ, কোষাধ্যক্ষগণ, বিচারকগণ, শাসকগণ এবং অন্যান্য উচ্চপদস্থ কর্মচারীদের ঐ মূর্ত্তির উত্সর্গীকরণ অনুষ্ঠানে আসতে আদেশ দিলেন|
KJV : Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
YLT : and Nebuchadnezzar the king hath sent to gather the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the honourable judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the province, to come to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath raised up.

ESV : Then King Nebuchadnezzar sent to gather the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces to come to the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
ERVEN : Then he called the satraps, prefects, governors, advisors, treasurers, judges, rulers, and all the other officials in his kingdom to come together. He wanted all of them to come to the dedication ceremony for the idol.

BNV : তাই তারা সবাই এলেন এবং নবূখদ্নিত্‌সরের স্থাপিত মূর্ত্তির সামনে দাঁড়ালেন|
KJV : Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
YLT : Then are gathered the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the honourable judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the province, to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath raised up: and they are standing before the image that Nebuchadnezzar hath raised up.
RV : Then the satraps, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

ASV : Then the satraps, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
ESV : Then the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. And they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
ERVEN : So all the men came and stood in front of the idol that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

BNV : তারপর রাজার ঘোষক উচ্চকণ্ঠে বললেন, “হে বিভিন্ন দেশ ও নানা ভাষাবিদ্গণ তোমরা আমার কথা শোন| তোমাদের এই আদেশ দেওয়া হচ্ছে:
KJV : Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,
YLT : And a crier is calling mightily: `To you they are saying: O peoples, nations, and languages!
RV : Then the herald cried aloud, to you it is commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages,
RSV : And the herald proclaimed aloud, "You are commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages,

ERVEN : Then the man who makes announcements for the king spoke in a loud voice, "All you people from many nations and language groups, listen to me. This is what you are commanded to do:

BNV : য়ে মূহুর্তে শিঙা, বাঁশি, বীণা এবং অন্যান্য সমস্ত বাদ্যযন্ত্রের আওয়াজ শুনবে তখনই তোমরা আভূমি নত হবে এবং রাজার স্থাপনা করা মূর্ত্তির পূজো করবে|
KJV : [That] at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
YLT : at the time that ye hear the voice of the cornet, the flute, the harp, the sackbut, the psaltery, the symphony, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and do obeisance to the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath raised up:
RV : that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
RSV : that when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, you are to fall down and worship the golden image that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up;
ASV : that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up;
ESV : that when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, you are to fall down and worship the golden image that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up.
ERVEN : You must bow down as soon as you hear the sound of all the musical instruments. When you hear the horns, flutes, lyres, sambucas, harps, bagpipes, and all the other musical instruments, you must worship the gold idol. King Nebuchadnezzar has set this idol up.

BNV : যদি কোন ব্যক্তি আভূমি নত না হয়ে পূজো করে, তাকে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে অগ্নিকুণ্ডে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে|”
KJV : And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
YLT : and whoso doth not fall down and do obeisance, in that hour he is cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.`
RV : and whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
RSV : and whoever does not fall down and worship shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace."

BNV : তাই, য়ে মূহুর্তে শিঙা, বাঁশি, বীণা এবং অন্যান্য বাদ্যযন্ত্রের শব্দ শোনা গেল, সমস্ত দেশসমূহ ও সমস্ত ভাষাবিদগণ আভূমি নত হল এবং নবূখদ্নিত্‌সরের প্রতিষ্ঠিত মূর্ত্তির পূজা করল|
KJV : Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down [and] worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
YLT : Therefore at that time, when all the peoples are hearing the voice of the cornet, the flute, the harp, the sackbut, the psaltery, and all kinds of music, falling down are all the peoples, nations and languages, doing obeisance to the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath raised up.

ERVEN : So as soon as they heard the sound of the horns, flutes, lyres, sambucas, bagpipes, and all the other musical instruments, they bowed down and worshiped the gold idol. All the peoples, nations, and different language groups there worshiped the gold idol that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

BNV : সেই সময়, কিছু কল্দীয় লোকরা রাজার কাছে এল এবং ইহুদীদের বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলতে লাগল|
KJV : Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
YLT : Therefore at that time drawn near have certain Chaldeans, and accused the Jews;
RV : Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and brought accusation against the Jews.
RSV : Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came forward and maliciously accused the Jews.

BNV : তারা রাজা নবূখদ্নিত্‌সরকে বলল, “মহারাজ দীর্ঘজীবি হোন!
KJV : They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.
YLT : they have answered, yea, they are saying to Nebuchadnezzar the king, `O king, to the ages live!
RV : They answered and said to Nebuchadnezzar the king, O king, live for ever.
RSV : They said to King Nebuchadnezzar, "O king, live for ever!
ASV : They answered and said to Nebuchadnezzar the king, O king, live for ever.
ESV : They declared to King Nebuchadnezzar, "O king, live forever!
ERVEN : They said, "King, may you live forever!

BNV : মহারাজ আপনি আদেশ করেছিলেন য়ে শিঙা, বাঁশি, বীণা ও অন্যান্য বাদ্যযন্ত্রের বাদন শোনা মাত্র সকলকে মাথা নত করে সোনার মূর্ত্তিটির পূজা করতে|
KJV : Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
YLT : Thou, O king, hast made a decree that every man who doth hear the voice of the cornet, the flute, the harp, the sackbut, the psaltery, and the symphony, and all kinds of music, doth fall down and do obeisance to the golden image;

ERVEN : King, you gave a command. You said that everyone who hears the sound of the horns, flutes, lyres, sambucas, harps, bagpipes, and all the other musical instruments must bow down and worship the gold idol.

BNV : আপনি আরো বলেছিলেন য়ে যদি কেউ এই মূর্ত্তির পূজা না করে তাহলে তাদের অগ্নিকুণ্ডে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে|
KJV : And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, [that] he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
YLT : and whoso doth not fall down and do obeisance, is cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
RV : and whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, shall be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

BNV : কিন্তু হে মহারাজ, কিছু ইহুদী আপনার আদেশ অমান্য করেছে| আপনি পূর্বে তাদের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কর্মচারীর পদে বহাল করেছিলেন| তারা হল শদ্রক, মৈশক ও অবেদ্-নগো| তারা আপনার দেবতার পূজা করে নি| তারা আভূমি নত হয়নি এবং আপনার প্রতিষ্ঠিত সোনার মূর্ত্তিটি পূজো করে নি|”
KJV : There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
YLT : There are certain Jews whom thou hast appointed over the work of the province of Babylon -- Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, these men have not made of thee, O king, [any] regard; thy gods they are not serving, and to the golden image thou hast raised up -- are not making obeisance.`
RV : There are certain Jews whom thou hast appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

ERVEN : There are some Judeans who you made important officials in the province of Babylon that ignored your order, king. Their names are Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They don't worship your gods, and they didn't bow down to worship the gold idol you set up."

BNV : তখন রাজা ভীষণ রুদ্ধ হয়ে শদ্রক, মৈশক ও অবেদ্-নগোকে ডেকে পাঠালেন| তাদের রাজার সামনে আনা হল|
KJV : Then Nebuchadnezzar in [his] rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.
YLT : Then Nebuchadnezzar, in anger and fury, hath said to bring in Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. Then these men have been brought in before the king.
RV : Then Nebuchadnezzar in {cf15i his} rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.
RSV : Then Nebuchadnezzar in furious rage commanded that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be brought. Then they brought these men before the king.

ERVEN : Nebuchadnezzar became very angry. He called for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. So they were brought to him.

BNV : নবূখদ্নিত্‌সর ঐ লোকেদের বললেন, “শদ্রক, মৈশক এবং অবেদ্-নগো, এটা কি সত্যি য়ে তোমরা আমার দেবতাদের পূজো কর না আর তোমরা আভূমি নত হও নি এবং আমার প্রতিষ্ঠিত সোনার মূর্ত্তিকে পূজো করনি?
KJV : Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, [Is it] true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
YLT : Nebuchadnezzar hath answered and said to them, `Is [it] a laid plan, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego -- my gods ye are not serving, and to the golden image that I have raised up ye are not doing obeisance?
RV : Nebuchadnezzar answered and said unto them, Is it of purpose, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, that ye serve not my god, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
RSV : Nebuchadnezzar said to them, "Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the golden image which I have set up?
ASV : Nebuchadnezzar answered and said unto them, Is it of purpose, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, that ye serve not my god, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
ESV : Nebuchadnezzar answered and said to them, "Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the golden image that I have set up?
ERVEN : And Nebuchadnezzar said to them, "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, is it true that you don't worship my gods? And is it true that you didn't bow down and worship the gold idol I have set up?

BNV : এবার যখনই তোমরা শিঙা, বীণা ও অন্যান্য বাদ্যয়ন্ত্রের শব্দ শুনবে তখনই তোমরা মাথা নত করে সোনার মূর্ত্তির পূজা করবে| যদি তোমরা এই মূর্ত্তির পূজা করতে রাজী থাকো তবে ভাল, নয়তো তোমাদের অগ্নিকুণ্ডে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে| তখন কোন দেবতাই তোমাদের আমার হাত থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারবে না!”
KJV : Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; [well:] but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who [is] that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
YLT : Now, lo, ye are ready, so that at the time that ye hear the voice of the cornet, the flute, the harp, the sackbut, the psaltery, and the symphony, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and do obeisance to the image that I have made! -- and lo, ye do no obeisance -- in that hour ye are cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; who is that God who doth deliver you out of my hands?`
RV : Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made, {cf15i well}: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
RSV : Now if you are ready when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, to fall down and worship the image which I have made, well and good; but if you do not worship, you shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace; and who is the god that will deliver you out of my hands?"

ESV : Now if you are ready when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, to fall down and worship the image that I have made, well and good. But if you do not worship, you shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you out of my hands?"
ERVEN : Now when you hear the sound of the horns, flutes, lyres, sambucas, harps, bagpipes, and all the other musical instruments, you must bow down and worship the gold idol. If you are ready to worship the idol I have made, that is good. But if you don't worship it, you will be thrown very quickly into the hot furnace. Then no god will be able to save you from my power!"

BNV : শদ্রক, মৈশক ও অবেদ্-নগো রাজাকে বলল, “এর ব্যাখ্যা দেওয়ার প্রয়োজন আমাদের নেই|
KJV : Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we [are] not careful to answer thee in this matter.
YLT : Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego have answered, yea, they are saying to the king Nebuchadnezzar, `We have no need concerning this matter to answer thee.
RV : Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer thee in this matter.
RSV : Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

ERVEN : Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, "Nebuchadnezzar, we don't need to explain these things to you.

BNV : যদি আপনি আমাদের অগ্নিকুণ্ডে নিক্ষেপ করেন তাহলে আমরা য়ে দেবতার পূজা করি তিনি আমাদের রক্ষা করবেন| তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে আমাদের আপনার হাত থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারেন|
KJV : If it be [so,] our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver [us] out of thine hand, O king.
YLT : Lo, it is; our God whom we are serving, is able to deliver us from a burning fiery furnace; and from thy hand, O king, He doth deliver.

Their bodies were not burned at all. Their hair was not burned, and their robes were not burned. They didn't even smell as if they had been near fire.
