ହେ ଯାକୁବ ବଂଶ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହିସବୁ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ କହିବା। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେଉଁ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଛ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କର ର୍ଧୈୟ୍ଯ ହରାଇଛନ୍ତି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ଉଚିତ କର୍ମ କରିବ, ଆମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ମଙ୍ଗଳକର ହବେ।

O [thou that art] named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? [are] these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
