ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಶಿಷ್ಯನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರಾದ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ತಂಬಿಗೆ ತಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

{SCJ}And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold [water] only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. {SCJ.}
