আগুনে প্রস্তুত নৈবেদ্যর মত করে তারা মঙ্গল নৈবেদ্যর একটা অংশ প্রভুর প্রতি উত্সর্গ করবে| তারা অবশ্যই চর্বি, সমগ্র চর্বিযুক্ত লেজ এবং যে চর্বি প্রাণীটির ভিতর অংশের সমস্ত অঙ্গগুলোকে ঢেকে রাখে তা উত্সর্গ করবে| (পিছনের হাড়ের একেবারে লাগোযা অংশ থেকে লেজটা সে কেটে দেবে|)

And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, [and] the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that [is] upon the inwards,

The priest will take part of the fellowship offering to the altar as a gift to the Lord. The priest must cut off the tail close to the backbone. Then he will offer the whole fat tail and the fat that is over and around the animal's inner parts.
