ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਦੇਸੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾ ਰਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਧੌਣ ਦੇ ਜੂਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨ ਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੋਂਰਿਆ।।

I [am] the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
