ಏನಂದರೆ, ನಾನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಒಂದು ಒಳ್ಳೇ ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಯನ್ನೂ ಇನ್ನೂರು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಶೇಕೆಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಐವತ್ತು ಶೇಕೆಲ್ ತೂಕವಾದ ಒಂದು ಬಂಗಾರದ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಶಿಸಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು; ಇಗೋ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲದೊಳಗೆ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯೂ ಅದರ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇದೆ ಅಂದನು.

When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they [are] hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.
