ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವಲ್ಲ, ದೇವದೂಷಣೆಗೋಸ್ಕ ರವೂ ನೀನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀನೇ ದೇವರಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೊಸ್ಕರವೂ ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.
